    Ransaw (lower body) recorded two total tackles (one solo) in Saturday's 24-20 preseason win over the Saints. Ransaw missed the entirety of the 2025 season while on injured reserve with a lower-body injury, but he now appears to be fully healthy heading into the 2026 campaign. The safety played 47 percent of the team's defensive snaps in the victory, and he's on track to serve as a top reserve option behind Antonio Johnson in Jacksonville's secondary this season.

    Jacksonville placed Ransaw (lower body) on its injured reserve list Tuesday. Ransaw missed a significant portion of training camp due to a lower body injury, and now he's going to the Jaguars' injured reserve list ahead of the start of the regular season. He'll have to stay there until the end of the year unless he can work out an injury settlement with Jacksonville.

    Ransaw is week-to-week with a lower-body injury, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. Ransaw was taken in the third round of the 2025 Draft, 88th overall, by Jacksonville but will now miss a good chunk of training camp action. He's looking to compete for safety snaps behind Eric Murray and Darnell Savage on the back end of the defense.
