    Davis was signed to the Dolphins' practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports. The Dolphins cut quarterback Jake Rudock in a corresponding move. Davis was waived with a non-football injury designation during training camp but will now return to the team and provide depth in the defensive backfield.

    The Dolphins waived Davis (undisclosed) with a non-football injury designation Thursday. If the undrafted rookie out of Auburn clears waivers, he'll revert to Miami's injured reserve. In that case, he'd be set to remain there for 2020 barring an injury settlement.
