Broncos' Geron Christian: Inks deal with Denver

The Broncos signed Christian to a contract Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Christian had been on the Cowboys' practice squad prior to being signed by Denver. The veteran offensive tackle has 63 NFL regular-season games under his belt, including 25 starts, over stints with five different clubs. Christian will likely serve as offensive-line depth for the Broncos.

Browns' Geron Christian: Signs with Browns

Cleveland signed Christian from the Rams' practice squad Tuesday. In a corresponding move, the Browns placed tackle Dawand Jones on their injured reserve list with a broken fibula. Christian appeared in nine games for Cleveland last season, so it shouldn't take him too long to get back up to speed in the offense.
