  • Buccaneers' Kendell Beckwith: Limited in Wednesday's practice

Beckwith (knee) was limited in Wednesday's practice, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports. The rookie linebacker exited last Sunday's loss to the Panthers with the knee ailment, and three days later, it's still affecting him enough to keep him from a full practice. Beckwith's status will continue to be monitored through the remainder of the practice week ahead of a Week 9 road showdown with the Saints. If he's ultimately unable to suit up, Adarius Glanton, who logged three starts at Beckwith's strong-side linebacker spot when the latter filled in for Kwon Alexander in the middle earlier in the season, would presumably get the call against New Orleans.

  • Buccaneers' Kendell Beckwith: Nursing knee injury

Beckwith was removed from Sunday's loss to the Panthers due to a knee injury, but the Buccaneers aren't expecting him to miss any games due to the issue, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Beckwith underwent an MRI on the knee Monday that came back clean, so it doesn't appear that the linebacker will be on tap for an extended absence. However, his practice time could be limited over the upcoming days, which clouds his status for the Week 9 tilt with the Saints.

  • Buccaneers' Kendell Beckwith: Leads squad in tackles

Beckwith racked up a team-high 14 tackles (12 solo) in Thursday's loss to the Patriots. Beckwith continues his stronghold as the Bucs' leading tackler, with 36 tackles (32 solo) on the season. The absences of fellow starters Kwon Alexander (hamstring) and Lavonte David (ankle) has afforded him extra opportunities to make an impact. Regardless, the rookie third-round pick is proving himself as a long-term asset and should be deployed in IDP formats.

  • Buccaneers' Kendell Beckwith: Paces team in tackles Sunday

Beckwith logged nine tackles (all solo) in Sunday's 25-23 win over the Giants. For the second consecutive week, Beckwith played on 100 percent of the Bucs' defensive snaps, leading to a second straight prolific tackle total. Beckwith has racked up 17 total stops (15 solo) over that span and projects as an above-average IDP asset, whether starting at middle linebacker in place of Kwon Alexander (hamstring) or manning his designated spot on the strong side.

  • Buccaneers' Kendell Beckwith: Headed to Tampa

The Buccaneers selected Beckwith in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, 107th overall. Beckwith (6-foot-2, 243 pounds) is a three-year starter who was unable to work out before the draft due to a torn ACL suffered in November. He'll be hard-pressed for defensive snaps with Lavonte David and Kwon Alexander locked in as Tampa's top two linebackers.
