George Kittle TE | SF
49ers' George Kittle: Status in question for Saturday
Kittle (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Seahawks, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
Kittle has been tending to a mid-to-low ankle sprain that sidelined him Week 17 against the Bears, but after logging back-to-back limited sessions to kick off Week 18 prep and then telling Vic Tafur of The Athletic on Wednesday that he "absolutely" expects to play this weekend, he appears to be trending in the right direction to suit up. Ultimately, Kittle's status will be confirmed about 90 minutes before an 8:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

McCallan Castles TE | GB
McCallan Castles: Lands on injured list
The Packers placed Castles on the practice squad/injured list Thursday.
Castles' spot on the practice squad has been filled by safety Mark Perry. A depth tight end, Castles initially joined Green Bay's practice squad in November, but he didn't suit up for a single regular-season game with the team.

Raheem Mostert RB | LV
Raiders' Raheem Mostert: Sits out Thursday's practice
Mostert (knee/ankle) did not participate in Thursday's practice, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.
Mostert's absence from Thursday's practice could be a maintenance day, given that the veteran running back was a full participant in Wednesday's session. His participation in Friday's practice will provide clarity on his status heading into Sunday's regular-season finale against the Chiefs.

Christian McCaffrey RB | SF
49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Set to play Saturday
McCaffrey (back) doesn't have a designation for Saturday's game against the Seahawks, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
McCaffrey initially dealt with a back injury in the fourth quarter of this past Sunday's win against the Bears. Per David Lombardi of SFStandard.com, the issue was described as stiffness by the running back himself Tuesday, when he didn't practice, but McCaffrey got back on the practice field Wednesday as a limited participant and now is clear for Week 18. McCaffrey is four catches away from reaching 100 for the third time in his career.

Mike Hughes CB | ATL
Falcons' Mike Hughes: Officially placed on IR
The Falcons placed Hughes (ankle) on injured reserve Thursday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.
Hughes' placement on IR follows an announcement from head coach Raheem Morris on Wednesday that the starting cornerback would miss Sunday's regular-season finale against the Saints. With Hughes officially done for the year, Cobee Bryant is expected to step into a starting role at outside cornerback versus New Orleans.

Quentin Lake SAF | LAR
Rams' Quentin Lake: Designated to return, inks new deal
The Rams designated Lake (elbow) to return from injured reserve Thursday, and the two sides also agreed to a three-year, $42 million contract extension the same day, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
It was a busy start to the new year for Lake, whose contract extension includes $25.7 million guaranteed. The 2022 sixth-rounder is unlikely to play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Cardinals, but Lake could be available for the Rams' postseason run. He landed on IR in mid-November after undergoing surgery to repair an elbow injury, and his return would likely result in less defensive snaps being available for Cobie Durant and Roger McCreary.

Cameron Williams OT | PHI
Eagles' Cameron Williams: Activated from IR
The Eagles activated Williams (shoulder) from injured reserve Thursday.
Thursday was the Eagles' last day to activate Williams from injured reserve. The rookie sixth-rounder will now be available for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Commanders and for the Eagles' postseason run, when he will serve in a reserve role on the offensive line.

Jake Ferguson TE | DAL
Cowboys' Jake Ferguson: Limited Thursday
Ferguson (calf) was a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
After spending Wednesday's session on the side working with trainers, Ferguson showed some progress with the calf injury that knocked him out for the second half of last Thursday's win at Washington. It's unclear yet if he's in danger of missing Sunday's game at the Giants, but he's put together a modest 25-211-2 line on 34 targets in seven contests since the Cowboys' Week 10 bye.

Ben Cleveland G | LAC
Ben Cleveland: Let go by Baltimore
The Ravens waived Cleveland on Thursday.
Cleveland missed the Ravens' last three games while serving a suspension for violating the NFL's Substances of Abuse Policy, and while that suspension was lifted Monday, he will not be on the Ravens' active roster heading into Sunday's regular-season finale against the Steelers. Cleveland could opt to stay with the Ravens on the practice squad or explore his options elsewhere.

Aireontae Ersery OT | HOU
Texans' Aireontae Ersery: Practices in full
Ersery (thumb) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Ersery logged a limited practice session Wednesday, but he now appears to have gained full clearance for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Colts. The rookie second-round pick suffered a broken hand versus Las Vegas in Week 16, but barring any setbacks, expect Ersery to draw his usual start at left tackle versus Indianapolis on Sunday.
