Upton Stout CB | SF
49ers' Upton Stout: Limited to open Week 18 prep
Stout (concussion) was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Stout entered the league's concussion protocol during the 49ers' 42-38 win over the Bears on Sunday and finished the game with four tackles (three solo). His ability to practice Tuesday in a limited capacity indicates that he is progressing through protocol, but he would need to be cleared by an independent neurologist in order to be available for Saturday's NFC West tilt against the Seahawks.

Ricky Pearsall WR | SF
49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Starts week with limited practice
Pearsall (knee/ankle) will be a limited participant in Tuesday's practice, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Pearsall returned from his one-game absence in Sunday's 42-38 win over the Bears to lead Niners in receiving with a 5-85-0 line on eight targets across 81 percent of the offensive snaps. He's been battling knee and ankle issues for the vast majority of the season, but assuming he escaped Week 17 without any setbacks, Pearsall should be ready to play Saturday versus the Seahawks.

Demetrius Knight Jr. LB | CIN
Bengals' Demetrius Knight: Registers five stops Week 17
Knight notched five tackles (one solo) in a 37-14 victory against the Bengals on Sunday.
Knight's five stops were good for third most on Cincinnati. The rookie linebacker has been quite consistent of late with between four and six tackles in each of his past five contests. With his tackle tally Sunday, Knight surpassed the triple-digit mark for the campaign, as he's up to 103 stops (including 2.0 sacks) along with six defensed passes (including two interceptions) over 16 games.

Tyrel Dodson LB | MIA
Dolphins' Tyrel Dodson: Sacks Mayfield in Week 17 victory
Dodson recorded five tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks, during the Dolphins' 20-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Dodson was credited with a seven-yard sack of Baker Mayfield late in the third quarter, when the veteran signal caller recovered his own fumble and ran out of bounds. That brought Dodson up to 5.0 sacks through 15 regular-season games, which surpasses his total of 4.5 sacks across the two prior seasons combined. His 121 combined tackles on the year is a career high, and this Sunday's AFC East tilt against the Patriots marks his final opportunity to add to his total this season.

George Kittle TE | SF
49ers' George Kittle: Will be limited Tuesday
Kittle (ankle) will be a limited participant in Tuesday's practice, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports.
Kittle sat out all three of the 49ers' practices last week due to a left ankle sprain before ultimately missing this past Sunday's 42-38 win over the Bears. His return to the field Tuesday would seem to give Kittle a decent chance of returning for Saturday's regular-season finale versus the Seahawks. In Kittle's absence against Chicago, Jake Tonges played 69 percent of the offensive snaps and produced a useful 7-60-1 receiving line on nine targets.

Christian McCaffrey RB | SF
49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Continuing to nurse back issue
McCaffrey won't practice Tuesday due to back stiffness, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Per David Lombardi of SFStandard.com, McCaffrey said the back issue isn't anything serious. McCaffrey dealt with the same injury concern earlier this month but was ultimately active for the 49ers' 37-24 win over the Titans back in Week 15. He hadn't been listed on the injury report in the ensuing two weeks, but the Niners are coming off a back-and-forth fight with the Bears this past Sunday and have a quick turnaround for the battle for the NFC's No. 1 seed this Saturday against the Seahawks. The expectation is that McCaffrey will be ready to play Saturday, but whether he takes a designation into the contest won't be known until the 49ers release their final injury report Thursday.

Barrett Carter LB | CIN
Bengals' Barrett Carter: Notches three tackles Week 17
Carter totaled three tackles (one solo) and a defensed pass Sunday in a 37-14 victory versus Arizona.
Carter has been effective against the air attack of late, logging three pass defenses (including his first career interception) over his past two games. The rookie out of Clemson has had a solid first NFL campaign, tallying 101 tackles and four defensed passes through 16 contests.

Jack Jones CB | SF
Dolphins' Jack Jones: Career-high 10 tackles in win
Jones logged 10 tackles (eight solo) and a pass defense during the Dolphins' 20-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Jones recorded double-digit tackles for the first time in his four-year NFL career Sunday, and his eight solo stops were also a career best. He joined the Dolphins on a one-year contract in late July after being released by the Raiders in April, and through 16 regular-season games he has accumulated 73 tackles (47 solo), six pass defenses and two forced fumbles.
-
Geno Stone SAF | BUF
Bengals' Geno Stone: Records four stops Sunday
Stone tallied four tackles (three solo) in Sunday's 37-14 Week 17 win over the Cardinals.
Stone was far from prolific from a tackling standpoint, but he helped contain Arizona's passing game en route to an easy Bengals victory. The veteran safety has registered at least four stops in 14 of his 16 games this season and is up to a career-high 101 tackles, including 2.0 sacks, along with three defensed passes (including two interceptions).

Ashtyn Davis SAF | SF
Dolphins' Ashtyn Davis: Snags first INT of 2025
Davis posted seven tackles (five solo) and two pass defenses (one interception) during the Dolphins' 20-17 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday.
It took until Week 17 of the 2025 season, but Davis finally recorded his first interception of the year by picking off Baker Mayfield midway through the fourth quarter. Davis tied a season high with seven tackles, and the 2020 third-rounder has logged at least six stops in six of his last eight games. He's up to 60 combined tackles through 14 regular-season games, and this Sunday against the Patriots presents his final opportunity to surpass his career-high tackling mark from the 2021 campaign as a member of the Jets (62 combined tackles across 13 regular-season games).
