Lockett (hand) was a limited practice participant Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Thursday's activity marks Lockett's first since undergoing surgery on his fractured left index finger on Monday, Dec. 19. He thus has progressed since Wednesday, when he "did everything" and "looked good" during the Seahawks' morning walkthrough, coach Pete Carroll told Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times, but the wide receiver ultimately went down as a DNP on the first injury report of Week 17. Lockett was dealing with swelling and had stitches in his left hand as of Wednesday, but with Thursday's return to practice, he's now trending in a positive direction ahead of Sunday's game against the Jets.

Tolbert (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Titans, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Tolbert is set for his third consecutive absence, each of which has come as a healthy scratch. Most recently, that's been due to the addition of T.Y. Hilton, who caught a 52-yard pass in his debut with the Cowboys in Week 16.

Samuel (knee/ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Samuel was spotted on the practice field during the media-access portion of Thursday's session catching passes during individual drills, per Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area. The activity was enough for Samuel to go down as limited and also fulfill coach Kyle Shanahan's sentiment that the wide receiver may be able to take part in the second practice of Week 17 prep. It's unclear if Samuel has a chance to suit up Sunday at Las Vegas, but Friday's injury report could include questionable next to his name, making his status one to continue to watch as the weekend approaches.

Watson (hip) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice.

Coach Matt LaFleur told Matt Schneidman of The Athletic earlier Thursday that Watson was in line to practice in a limited capacity, but the rookie wide receiver ended up going down as a DNP for a second straight session. Watson thus has only one more chance Friday to mix into drills before the Packers likely hand him a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Vikings.

Robinson didn't practice Thursday while he received rest for a groin injury, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Though Robinson's mid-week appearance on the injury report with a groin issue would normally be cause for concern, the fact that the Ravens also attributed his absence Thursday to rest suggests he'll likely be fine for Sunday's game against the Steelers. For the fourth straight week, Robinson looks like he'll be on track to draw targets from fill-in starting quarterback Tyler Huntley, as Lamar Jackson (knee) sat out his 11th straight practice Thursday and is trending toward another missed game.

Reynolds (illness) practiced in full Thursday.

Reynolds was held out of all on-field work Wednesday due to an illness, but his return one day later without limitations signals that the ailment is behind him. Over the last four games, he's earned between 59 and 78 percent of the offensive snaps, hauling in 10 of 14 targets for 101 yards and one touchdown. Similar modest usage likely is on the docket for Reynolds on Sunday against the Bears with fellow wideouts Amon-Ra St. Brown, DJ Chark and Kalif Raymond available to the Lions offense.

Brown (rest/knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday.

The Eagles have held back-to-back walkthroughs this week, for which Brown has had a cap on his reps. Josh Tolentino of The Philadelphia Inquirer noted that Brown was donning a compression sleeve on his left leg as he went through drills. Considering 'rest' was added next to Brown's name on Thursday's injury report, he may not be in any danger of sitting out Sunday against the Saints. Friday's report will reveal whether he has a designation ahead of that contest.

Samuel (knee) was spotted on the field for the open portion of Thursday's practice, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Samuel hasn't logged any recorded practice activity since spraining his left knee and ankle in a Dec. 11 win over Tampa Bay, but he looks poised to go down as either a limited or full participant on the 49ers' second Week 17 injury report, which will be released later Thursday. Samuel looks like he'll have a chance to put an end to a two-game absence and suit up this Sunday in Las Vegas, but his availability for that contest will be contingent on how he fares in practice Thursday and Friday.

Johnson (hip) was a full practice participant Thursday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Johnson, who managed a toe issue ahead of Week 16 action, was limited during Wednesday's practice, but the wideout's full participation Thursday puts him on track to suit up Sunday night against the Ravens. In his team's 13-10 win over the Raiders last Saturday, Johnson recorded an 88 percent snap share while catching five of his seven targets for 64 yards. This time around, he'll be facing a Baltimore defense that is allowing an average of 239.5 passing yards per game to date.

Olave (hamstring) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.

With back-to-back capped sessions under his belt to begin Week 17 prep, Olave is in a better spot than a week ago, when he didn't practice at all before he was sidelined this past Saturday at Cleveland with a hamstring issue. It remains to be seen if he'll enter this weekend with a designation for Sunday's game in Philadelphia, something that will become known once the Saints release their final injury report of the week Friday.
