  • J.J. Koski WR | DEN

J.J. Koski: Let go from team

Koski was waived by the Broncos on Sunday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Koski joined Denver on Aug. 14 after being waived by the Rams with an injury designation in March. The Cal Poly product last played in 2021 with Los Angeles, appearing in five contests and seeing all his work on special teams handling return duties. He'll now work to get an opportunity elsewhere.

  • Nick Williams WR | DEN

Nick Williams: Cut by Denver for third time

The Broncos waived Williams on Sunday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

Williams rejoined the Broncos on Aug. 1 after wide receiver Tim Patrick was placed on injured reserve with an Achilles injury. Williams dressed for Denver's preseason finale against the Rams on Saturday but did not record a catch. It's possible he could return to the Broncos on their practice squad once he clears waivers.

  • Avery Davis WR | DET

    Avery Davis: Cut by Detroit

The Lions waived Davis on Sunday.

Davis rejoined the Lions on Aug. 14 after being let go by the team five days prior. He failed to haul in a pass in his lone outing against the Panthers on Saturday and will look for opportunities elsewhere once he clears waivers.

  • Trinity Benson WR | CLE

Trinity Benson: Let go by Detriot

The Lions waived Benson on Sunday.

Benson avoided serious injury in training camp and was able to return for the Lions' second preseason game against the Jaguars on Aug. 19. He finished the preseason with three catches for 16 yards in two games. He'll look to land elsewhere once he clears waivers.

  • Jason Moore WR | DET

    Jason Moore: Cut by Detroit

The Lions released Moore on Sunday.

Moore signed with the Lions on Aug. 17, which corresponded with the team cutting wide receiver Denzel Mims (undisclosed) with an injury designation. He only played in the Lions' preseason finale against the Panthers on Saturday and caught one pass for six yards.

  • Gavin Holmes WR | TEN

    Gavin Holmes: Cut by Tennessee

The Titans waived Holmes on Sunday, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports.

Holmes joined the Titans in May as an undrafted free agent. He managed to record two catches for 19 yards in two preseason games. Once he clears waivers, Holmes will look to take his talents elsewhere, most likely for a practice squad spot.

  • Cole Beasley WR | NYG

Giants' Cole Beasley: Nearing full recovery

Beasley (leg) is close to 100 percent, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Beasley was out of action for almost two weeks due to the injury, which could jeopardize his making the team's final 53-man roster. The veteran receiver, who has ties to head coach Brian Daboll from time together in Buffalo, is likely on the bubble with cut-down day coming soon.

  • Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Expected to be activated soon

Robinson (knee) is expected to be activated from the active/PUP list before Tuesday's deadline, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Robinson tore his ACL last season and opened training camp on the active/PUP list. He was spotted running routes earlier this week, so it's not surprising to hear that he's inching closer to being activated. Once fully healthy, Robinson will be competing with Isaiah Hodgins, Parris Campbell, Darius Slayton and rookie Jalin Hyatt for first-team snaps.

  • Daewood Davis WR | CAR

    Dolphins' Daewood Davis: Continues recovery

Davis is at the team's facilities Sunday and has entered the league's concussion protocols, according to head coach Mike McDaniel, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Davis was released from the hospital Sunday morning and is "doing better than last night," according to McDaniel. The 24-year-old needed to be immobilized and carted off the field after a hit suffered in the team's preseason contest against the Jaguars on Saturday. He'll now focus on his recovery and will not be able to take the field again until he can prove himself healthy.

  • Anthony Schwartz: Headed for waiver wire

Schwartz (hamstring) was waived with an injury designation Sunday.

Schwartz has been dealing with the injury for about a week, and he'll now potentially miss the 2023 campaign due to it. If the 2021 third-round selection clears waivers, he'll revert to IR, which will keep him on the shelf for the season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.
