Puka Nacua WR | LAR
Rams' Puka Nacua: Dealing with oblique injury
Nacua didn't practice Thursday due to an oblique injury, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Nacua was perhaps the biggest surprise of Week 1, when he torched the Seahawks on the road to the tune of 10 catches (on 15 targets) for 119 yards. The performance made him one of the biggest pickups during Week 2 roster management, but he now is dealing with a health concern. Considering his sudden emergence on the practice report, Nacua may have suffered the injury during Thursday's session. In any case, his status now bears monitoring, with his listing Friday key to his potential (or lack thereof) to play Sunday against the 49ers.

Chase Claypool WR | BUF
Bears' Chase Claypool: Expected to play Week 2
Claypool is practicing as normal this week and is expected to play Sunday against the Bucs, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Claypool was dreadful in the Week 1 opener versus Green Bay, parlaying 58 offensive snaps into zero catches on two targets. Coach Matt Eberflus openly admitted the team was going to look into Claypool's Week 2 role. He simply can't be trusted in fantasy lineups until further notice.

Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: Returns to full practice
Jeudy (hamstring) practiced fully Thursday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Jeudy was limited at practice Wednesday, but after reportedly being close to playing Week 1 and upgrading to full participation in Thursday's practice, the wideout is poised to make his regular-season debut Sunday against the Commanders. He's in line to start opposite Courtland Sutton in the Broncos' Russell Wilson-helmed offense, and in that context, Jeudy should see a steady share of targets on a weekly basis as long as he can stay healthy.

DeVante Parker WR | PHI
Patriots' DeVante Parker: Remains limited Thursday
Parker (knee) remained a limited participant at practice Thursday.
Along with Parker, fellow wideout Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) also was a limited participant, and unless one or both practice fully Friday, the two could approach Sunday's game against the Dolphins with questionable designations. Parker was inactive for the Patriots' season-opening loss to the Eagles this past weekend, but when available, he's slated to play a key role in a wideout corps that includes JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kendrick Bourne and Demario Douglas.
-
Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Remains limited at practice
Samuel (hip) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday.
Samuel continued to have a cap on his on-field reps as the Commanders make their way through Week 2 prep. He now has just one more opportunity to get back to all activity before the team potentially gives him a designation for Sunday's game at Denver. If Samuel is limited or out this weekend, Dyami Brown likely would be the biggest beneficiary behind Washington's top WR duo of Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson.

Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN
Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Practices fully Thursday
Waddle (oblique) was a full practice participant Thursday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Waddle was limited during Wednesday's session, but the wideout's ability to take every rep Thursday puts him on track to be available for Sunday's game against the Patriots. He'll combine with Tyreek Hill to give Miami's offense a formidable one-two combination at receiver. During the team's 36-34 win over the Chargers in Week 1, Waddle logged four catches on five targets for 78 yards, while Hill turned in an 11-215-2 receiving line.

Britain Covey WR | PHI
Eagles' Britain Covey: Gets elevation to 53-man roster
Philadelphia elevated Covey from its practice squad to the 53-man roster ahead of its game versus Minnesota on Thursday.
After suiting up and playing exclusively on special teams in Week 1, Covey will once again be available for the Eagles in Week 2. He is a good candidate to return punts, but it's not very likely he will see many offensive snaps unless Philadelphia jumps out to an insurmountable lead early.
-
Dez Fitzpatrick WR | LAC
Steelers' Dez Fitzpatrick: Will be available Monday
Pittsburgh signed Fitzpatrick off its practice squad to the 53-man roster Thursday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
With Diontae Johnson (hamstring) listed as doubtful for Week 2, Fitzpatrick will be available to potentially provide reinforcement at wide receiver Monday night against the Browns. If he can find his way onto the field, Fitzpatrick will be a secondary option on a passing offense that looked anemic, to put it lightly, in Week 1.
-
Kayshon Boutte WR | NE
Patriots' Kayshon Boutte: Still limited Thursday
Boutte (hamstring) remained limited in Thursday's practice.
With DeVante Parker (knee) out for Week 1, Boutte's 43 routes were second on the team, trailing only Kendrick Bourne's 54 in a loss to the Eagles. The rookie was mainly running clear-out routes, failing to catch any of his four targets while averaging a robust 23.3 yards average depth of target. Boutte will likely head back to a lesser role once Parker is cleared to return.

Davante Adams WR | LAR
Raiders' Davante Adams: Returns to full practice
Adams (foot) practiced fully Thursday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
After missing Wednesday's practice, Adams' return to a full session Thursday sets the stage for him to headline the Raiders' receiving corps Sunday against the Bills. In the team's Week 1 win over the Broncos, Adams caught six of his nine targets for 66 yards while starting alongside Jakobi Meyers, who hasn't practiced this week due to a concussion.
