DeAndre Carter WR | CLE
Raiders' DeAndre Carter: Mixes into practice Thursday
Carter (knee) was a limited participant at practice Thursday ahead of Sunday's game at Buffalo.
It's a step in the right direction towards being able to suit up for Week 2 after Carter missed practice entirely Wednesday. With No. 2 wideout Jakobi Meyers dealing with a concussion, Carter could potentially be set for increased playing time on offense against the Bills in addition to his return duties.

Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC
Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Remains sidelined Thursday
Meyers (concussion) remained sidelined for Thursday's practice.
Meyers was concussed toward the end of Week 1 and remains in the league's protocol with a pair of DNPs to open the week. At this point, it might be a surprise if he gains clearance ahead of Sunday's Week 2 date against the Bills. DeAndre Carter and rookie Tre Tucker will be asked to take on larger offensive roles should Meyers sit out.

Wan'Dale Robinson WR | TEN
Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Another limited showing
Robinson (knee) was limited in practice Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Robinson again is operating with a cap on his practice reps like he has in every session so far this season. The limitations aren't surprising given he suffered a torn ACL in his right knee Week 11 of last season. It's unclear if Robinson needs to get back to all activity before the Giants will clear him for game action, but until he's in the fold, the team will roll with wide receivers Isaiah Hodgins, Darius Slayton, Parris Campbell, Jalin Hyatt and Sterling Shepard.

DJ Chark WR | ATL
Panthers' DJ Chark: Officially limited Thursday
Chark (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Chark has been dealing with a hamstring injury since at least Aug. 23 that kept him sidelined for the Panthers' season-opening loss in Atlanta this past Sunday. Prior to that contest, he managed one limited session last Friday, and he now has been active in drills in back-to-back days. Chark told Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer earlier Thursday that he's optimistic about making his debut with Carolina this coming Monday against the Saints, but ultimately a decision on his Week 2 availability could come down to a game-time call. If he's able to suit up, Chark will join a receiving corps composed of WRs Adam Thielen and Jonathan Mingo and TE Hayden Hurst, among others.

Romeo Doubs WR | NE
Packers' Romeo Doubs: Reps capped again Thursday
Doubs (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Though Doubs' practice reps were capped for the second day in a row, the Packers haven't offered any indication that he suffered a setback with the hamstring injury that dates back to the preseason during Green Bay's 38-20 win over Chicago this past Sunday. While Christian Watson (hamstring) was sidelined for the contest, Doubs was the Packers' most productive wideout, turning in a 4-26-2 receiving line on five targets. Doubs was restricted to playing only 48 percent of the snaps on offense, however, though he could see his workload pick up this Sunday in Atlanta if he's cleared to play through the hamstring issue.

Christian Watson WR | GB
Packers' Christian Watson: Misses another practice
Watson (hamstring) was a non-participant in Thursday's practice, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Watson has now missed each of the Packers' first five official practice sessions of the regular season, and unless he's able to reverse that trend Friday, he'll almost certainly be on track to miss a second consecutive game this weekend in Atlanta. Romeo Doubs (hamstring) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday for the second day in a row and looks on track to serve as Green Bay's No. 1 receiver Sunday if Watson is unable to play.

Treylon Burks WR | WAS
Titans' Treylon Burks: Back at practice
Burks returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's session due to a personal matter, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Meanwhile, fellow starting wideout DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) wasn't spotted at Thursday's practice. Burks is in store for a big role in the Titans offense Sunday against the Chargers in any case, but if Hopkins is limited or out this weekend, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Chris Moore would be next in line for snaps and looks at receiver.
-
DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Still not practicing
Hopkins (ankle) wasn't spotted at Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Hopkins didn't practice Wednesday, so the wideout's continued absence puts the focus firmly on what he's able to do at Friday's practice. On the plus side for the Titans, Treylon Burks was back on the field Thursday after missing Wednesday's session due to a personal matter. If Hopkins is out or limited Sunday against the Chargers, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and/or Chris Moore would be candidates to see added Week 2 opportunities.

Calvin Austin III WR | NYG
Steelers' Calvin Austin: Should see added opportunities
With Diontae Johnson expected to miss time with a hamstring injury, Austin is on track to see increased opportunities in the Steelers' passing game, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
It remains to be seen how long Johnson will be sidelined, but he's not expected to play Monday night against the Browns, at a minimum. In that context, Austin has a chance to yield fantasy utility in deeper formats, while seeing an increased profile in a WR corps that also includes George Pickens and Allen Robinson. In the Steelers' Week 1 loss to the 49ers, Austin logged 35 snaps (Johnson saw 27 snaps prior to being injured) en route to catching all six of his targets for 37 yards.

Brandin Cooks WR | BUF
Cowboys' Brandin Cooks: Sitting out practice, but improving
Head coach Mike McCarthy said that Cooks (knee) won't practice Thursday, but the wideout is showing improvement and will work out alongside the Cowboys' other rehabbing players, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Cooks is set to go down as a non-participant on the both of the Cowboys' first two Week 2 injury reports, but as long as he's able to take part in some drills Friday, he'll still have a chance at suiting up this Sunday against the Jets. In his Dallas debut this past Sunday against the Giants, Cooks caught two passes for 22 yards on four targets while playing just 56 percent of the offensive snaps, though his limited usage may have been a byproduct of the Cowboys racing out to a 26-point halftime lead en route to a 40-0 victory. According to Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Cooks is dealing with an MCL sprain, though the Cowboys haven't offered many details regarding the nature and severity of his injury.
