Britain Covey WR | PHI
Britain Covey: Goes back to practice squad
Covey reverted to Philadelphia's practice squad Friday.
After playing exclusively on special teams in Week 2, Covey will head back to the practice squad. The Eagles will be able to elevate him once more this season before they'd have to sign him to the active roster to make him available.

DeVante Parker WR | PHI
Patriots' DeVante Parker: Questionable for Sunday night
Parker (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins after being a limited participant in practice this week.
Parker was inactive for the Patriots' season-opening loss to the Eagles, but if he's cleared ahead of Sunday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff, he could step into a key role as the team's primary "X" receiver, a role largely handled by Kayshon Boutte in Week 1, per Evan Lazar of the team's official site. The timing of New England's contest will leave fantasy managers considering using Parker in Week 2 lineups with limited alternatives if he ends up on the inactive list, though reports could clarify the wideout's status before the first wave of games kick off this weekend.

Kayshon Boutte WR | NE
Patriots' Kayshon Boutte: Good to go for Week 2
Boutte (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Boutte was a limited participant in practices Wednesday and Thursday but upgraded to full participation Friday, clearing the way for him to suit up Week 2. Fellow wide receiver DeVante Parker (knee) is listed as questionable after three limited practices. While Parker was sidelined for the Patriots' Week 1 loss to the Eagles, Boutte served as the former's primary replacement in the lineup and played 55 of New England's 80 offensive snaps, but he was held without a catch on four targets. Boutte would likely see a dramatic downturn in playing time if Parker is cleared to play Sunday.

Jerry Jeudy WR | CLE
Broncos' Jerry Jeudy: No restrictions in Week 2
Jeudy (hamstring) was a full participant in practices Thursday and Friday and doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Commanders.
Per Ryan McFadden of The Denver Post, head coach Sean Payton confirmed Jeudy will be ready to make his season debut Sunday after the fourth-year wideout was previously held out of the Broncos' 17-16 loss to the Raiders in Week 1. Payton added that Jeudy isn't expected to have any sort of limited snap count Sunday after the wideout checked out fine during his pair of full practices this week. With that in mind, expect Jeudy and Courtland Sutton to pace the Denver receiving corps in both snaps and targets, while the likes of Lil'Jordan Humphrey, Marvin Mims and Brandon Johnson fill depth roles behind them.

John Metchie III WR | CAR
Texans' John Metchie: Looks to make pro debut Sunday
Metchie (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Assuming the Texans choose not to make him a healthy inactive, Metchie is set to make his regular-season debut Sunday after he missed the entire 2022 campaign while battling leukemia and recovering from a torn ACL before then sitting out last week's loss to the Ravens with the hamstring strain. With Noah Brown (groin) on injured reserve earlier this week, both Metchie and rookie Tank Dell will move up a spot on the depth chart behind veterans Nico Collins and Robert Woods.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Gets questionable tag for Week 2
Tennessee lists Hopkins (ankle) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Hopkins was listed as a non-participant at practices Wednesday and Thursday and was absent during the media-access portion of Friday's session, but the lack of on-field activity this week apparently doesn't eliminate his chances of playing Sunday. Hopkins told John Glennon of NashvillePost.com on Friday that he's still been preparing this week as though he'll play Sunday, perhaps suggesting that his absences from practice may have been in part maintenance-related. Whatever the case, Hopkins' Week 2 status won't be resolved one way or the other until the Titans release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. If Hopkins ends up sidelined for the contest, wideouts Treylon Burks and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo would represent the top options in the passing game available to quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

Diontae Johnson WR | CLE
Steelers' Diontae Johnson: Remains sidelined Friday
Johnson (hamstring) remained sidelined at practice Friday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Though the Steelers have yet to officially declare Johnson out for Monday night's game against the Browns, considering there's been a report from Brook Pryor of ESPN.com suggesting that the wideout could miss a few weeks, look for that to become official once Saturday's injury report is posted. In Johnson's anticipated absence, Calvin Austin, among others, figures to see added WR snaps for Pittsburgh in Week 2 alongside George Pickens and Allen Robinson.

Brandin Cooks WR | BUF
Cowboys' Brandin Cooks: Deemed questionable after DNP
Cooks (knee) missed a third straight practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
Cooks hasn't practiced since spraining his MCL in the season opener, but team owner Jerry Jones did say Friday morning that the veteran wideout could end up a game-time decision without practicing at all this week. Fantasy managers can treat Cooks as such ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, with the combination of his knee injury and a tough matchup against an excellent Jets secondary equating to reduced expectations even if he's active. Jalen Tolbert is the favorite to step in as the No. 3 receiver if Cooks is inactive, though KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Brooks could also get more snaps and Michael Gallup likely would play a bit more than he did last week (76 percent route share, tied with Cooks but below CeeDee Lamb's team-high 92 percent).

Wan'Dale Robinson WR | TEN
Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Aiming for Week 3 return
Robinson (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Cardinals and is thus unlikely to play, but the Giants are optimistic he'll make his season debut Week 3 at San Francisco, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Robinson was a limited participant in practices Wednesday through Friday and might be available to play in Arizona if needed, but Ranaan suggests the Giants plan to err on the side of caution with the second-year wideout while heading into a stretch of two games in five days. Though the Week 3 matchup with the 49ers falls on a Thursday, the Giants are apparently expecting Robinson to be ready to go for that game, provided he experiences no setbacks with his surgically-repaired right knee during what will likely be only light practice sessions leading up to the contest. Before he injured his knee Nov. 20 and then had surgery about three and a half weeks later, Robinson tallied 22 catches for 222 yards and a touchdown on 30 targets over the final five games of his rookie season. Upon his return to the lineup, Robinson will face stouter competition for snaps and looks in a rebuilt Giants pass-catching corps, though he could still end up unseating Parris Campbell as the team's top option out of the slot once his knee injury is further in the rear-view mirror.

Hunter Renfrow WR | CAR
Raiders' Hunter Renfrow: Chance to rebound with Meyers out
Renfrow could be poised for a larger role Sunday in Buffalo, as Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports that Jakobi Meyers (concussion) has been ruled out.
Meyers was concussed late in the 17-16 Week 1 win over the Broncos after catching nine of 10 targets for 81 yards and two touchdowns, while Renfrow wasn't targeted in that game. Vegas doesn't have much depth at wide receiver, so Meyers' absence should lead to more opportunities for Renfrow in the slot while No. 4 receiver DeAndre Carter could step in on the outside opposite Davante Adams. "Jakobi's a really good football player and, so, if he's not available then everybody has to step up and give themselves great opportunities to produce, and that's a good thing for them," coach Josh McDaniels said, per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com. Considering Renfrow had a 1,000-yard season in 2021, his track record suggests he's the player most capable of stepping up for the duration of Meyers' absence.
