Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC
Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Won't face Bills on Sunday
Meyers (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills, Rachel Gossen of the Raiders' official site reports.
Meyers didn't practice this week and will target a potential return to action Week 3 against the Steelers. Per Paul Gutierrez of ESPN, in Meyers' absence, slot receiver Hunter Renfrow and rookie TE Michael Mayer are candidates to see additional Week 2 targets, while DeAndre Carter, Kristian Wilkerson and Tre Tucker are on hand to provide the Raiders with WR depth this weekend.

DeAndre Carter WR | CLE
Raiders' DeAndre Carter: Healthy for Week 2 unlike Meyers
Carter (knee) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game in Buffalo, while fellow receiver Jakobi Meyers (concussion) has been ruled out.
Carter trended in the right direction all week, upgrading to limited participation Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice, and practicing fully Friday to shed the injury designation. In addition to returning kickoffs and punts on special teams, Carter's a candidate to see increased action alongside Davante Adams in Meyers' absence, though Hunter Renfrow, Kristian Wilkerson and Tre Tucker could also earn more attention from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo against the Bills.

Romeo Doubs WR | NE
Packers' Romeo Doubs: Ready to roll
Doubs (hamstring) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Atlanta, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Fellow wideout Christian Watson (hamstring) is listed as questionable and could be headed for a game-time call after limited practice participation Friday. Doubs played through his own hamstring injury in a 38-20 win over Chicago last week, scoring twice on four catches while handling 48 percent snap share and 64 percent route share. It's certainly possible those numbers grow now that he's healthier, and the Packers may emphasize their WRs and TEs a bit more than usual if Aaron Jones (hamstring) can't play after missing practice all week.

Cooper Kupp WR | SEA
Rams' Cooper Kupp: Hoping for Week 5 return
Coach Sean McVay said Friday that he hopes Kupp (hamstring) will be ready to play Week 5 against Philadelphia, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
It's the earliest possible date for a return after Kupp was placed on injured reserve ahead of the Rams' Week 1 victory in Seattle. McVay didn't want to discuss a specific timeline but did make it clear the Rams have at least some hope Kupp will be ready when first eligible.

Christian Watson WR | GB
Packers' Christian Watson: Questionable after limited practice
Watson returned to practice Friday as a limited participant and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Atlanta, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
The end-of-week return after two missed practices suggests Watson has better odds to play than RB Aaron Jones, who is also listed as questionable but missed three straight practices with a hamstring injury. Romeo Doubs' hamstring injury is less of a concern at this point, as he scored two TDs while playing through it last week and now doesn't have an injury designation for Week 2. Watson missed the opener and may now be headed for a game-time decision ahead of the Packers' 1:00 ET kickoff this Sunday.

Wan'Dale Robinson WR | TEN
Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Doubtful for Week 2
Robinson (knee) is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game in Arizona, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Robinson remains limited in practice and is listed as doubtful for a second straight week. The decision to keep him off injured reserve suggests the Giants expect him back within the first four games of the season, but his odds for Week 3 aren't the best with the Giants playing in San Francisco on a Thursday.
-
Puka Nacua WR | LAR
Rams' Puka Nacua: Expected to play
Coach Sean McVay said Friday that he expects Nacua (oblique) to play in Sunday's game against San Francisco, with the wideout returning to a limited practice Friday and likely listed as questionable on the final injury report, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
It's possible the outlook changes Friday afternoon after Nacua actually practices. His 10-catch performance last Sunday in Seattle was one of the biggest stories (and surprises) of Week 1, and he made it through the game healthy but was then a mid-week addition to the injury report this Thursday (listed as a non-participant). In the event McVay is wrong and Nacua doesn't end up playing, Ben Skowronek would be the favorite to join Van Jefferson and Tutu Atwell in three-wide sets.

JuJu Smith-Schuster WR | NYG
Patriots' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Believes knee is 100 percent
Smith-Schuster said Friday that he thinks his surgically-repaired knee is 100 percent healthy, Andrew Callahan of the Boston Herald reports.
Though Smith-Schuster isn't included on the Patriots' Week 2 injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Callahan previously suggested that the wideout's knee could still be an issue. In his Patriots debut in last week's loss to the Eagles, Smith-Schuster recorded four catches for 33 yards on seven targets, but he played only 41 snaps while position mates Kendrick Bourne (73 snaps) and Kayshon Boutte (55 snaps) ranked ahead of him in playing time. Looking ahead to Week 2, Smith-Schuster's playing time and target share is worth tracking, especially with DeVante Parker (knee) potentially returning to New England's lineup and promising rookie Demario Douglas (33 snaps and seven targets against Philadelphia) also in the team's receiver mix. The Patriots inked Smith-Schuster to a three-year, $25.5 million deal in March, essentially as a replacement for Jakobi Meyers, who signed with the Raiders in free agency.

DeAndre Hopkins WR | BAL
Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Not practicing Friday
Hopkins (ankle) isn't participating in Friday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Hopkins sat out practices Wednesday and Thursday with the ankle injury, so his continued absence for the Titans' final Week 2 session isn't the most reassuring sign about his prospects of suiting up Sunday against the Chargers. During his previous stops in Houston and Arizona, Hopkins often missed practice time in a given week while still being active for game days, so fantasy managers may have some reason to be optimistic that his absences this week might have been at least in part maintenance-related. In any event, shortly after Friday's session concludes, the Titans will release their final Week 2 practice report, which will reveal whether Hopkins is ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Chargers or if he carries an injury designation into the contest.

Brandin Cooks WR | BUF
Cowboys' Brandin Cooks: Sits out Friday's practice
Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said that Cooks (knee) was a spectator for Friday's practice, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Cooks will go down as a non-participant on the Cowboys' injury report for each of the team's three practices this week after suffering a slight MCL sprain in one of his knees during the team's season-opening win over the Giants last weekend, per Todd Archer of ESPN.com. According to Jon Machota of The Athletic, Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones said earlier Friday that Cooks doesn't necessarily need to practice this week in order to play in Sunday's game against the Jets, so if the veteran wideout is listed as questionable or doubtful for the contest, he could shape up as a game-time decision leading up to the 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. The Cowboys will provide an official injury designation for Cooks later Friday.
