  • DeVonta Smith WR | PHI

Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Limited in practice again

Smith (hamstring/thigh) was a limited practice participant Friday.

Smith should be able to play Monday in Tampa Bay even if he's limited for a third straight time when the Eagles release their final injury report Saturday. The team would be awfully thin at wide receiver in the event of a weekend setback, as No. 3 man Quez Watkins (hamstring) already appears highly likely to miss MNF.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Listed as questionable for Sunday

Hopkins (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns after missing practice Friday.

Though Hopkins didn't practice last week, he played this past Sunday against the Chargers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site notes. This time around, Hopkins indicated that the plan is for him to make the trip to Cleveland, with his game status to be determined. Fortunately for those with designs on utilizing Hopkins in Week 3 lineups, the Titans kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET this Sunday.

  • 49ers' Ray-Ray McCloud: Not targeted in spot-start

McCloud logged 38 offensive snaps (46 percent) but was not targeted in Thursday's 30-12 win over the Giants.

McCloud got the starting nod in place of Brandon Aiyuk (wrist), but the elevated role did not result in added production Thursday. Rookie Ronnie Bell wound up benefiting the most from Aiyuk's absence with a short touchdown reception on two targets. The speedy McCloud was mainly used as a downfield decoy on his routes Thursday, in addition to handling his usual return-man duties. The veteran wideout could earn another start against Arizona on Oct. 1 if Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) isn't ready following the extended rest period.

  • Zay Jones WR | ARI

Jaguars' Zay Jones: Won't play Sunday

Jones (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Texans.

After gathering in five of seven passes for 55 yards and one touchdown in a Week 1 win at Indianapolis, Jones was blanked on six targets this past Sunday against the Chiefs. On Monday, coach Doug Pederson revealed that Jones was dealing with a knee injury, leaving the wide receiver day-to-day. Jones proceeded to log no practice reps Wednesday through Friday before the Jaguars made a ruling on his Week 3 availability, so his status may be more of a week-to-week proposition at this point.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Chiefs' Kadarius Toney: Questionable to face Chicago

Toney (toe) is listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 3 game against the Bears, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.

Toney missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning to limited work Friday. Seemingly unable to stay healthy, Toney could end up a game-time decision ahead of a late-afternoon kickoff. He's not someone we're looking to start in most fantasy leagues with the Chiefs running a five/six-man rotation at wideout.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Should play through Q tag

Metcalf (ribs) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Carolina but appears on track to play, according to Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune.

Metcalf played through the rib injury for much of last week's win over Detroit before missing practice Wednesday and Thursday. It's likely a matter of pain management, which means Metcalf's workload and/or effectiveness could be impacted even if the Seahawks aren't seriously concerned he'll miss the game.

  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Lions' Josh Reynolds: Listed questionable for Week 3

Reynolds (groin) was a full practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports.

Reynolds and Amon-Ra St. Brown (toe) both are on track to play with questionable tags after upgrading to full practice participation Friday. Reynolds is off to a great start this year with nine catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns on three targets, but he's put together similar stretches in the past before fading back to either a bench role or an extremely low rate of targets per route. Even so, fantasy managers could do worse as far as Week 3 streamers or injury replacements go, as Reynolds at least has solidified himself as Detroit's top perimeter receiver until Jameson Williams returns from suspension Week 7 (and possibly beyond that if Williams gets off to a slow start).

  • DeVante Parker WR | PHI

Patriots' DeVante Parker: Cleared to play Week 3

Parker (knee) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Sunday's Week 3 game against the Jets, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports.

Parker played 100 percent of the offensive snaps in last week's loss to the Dolphins, recording six catches for 57 scoreless yards. He'll see a lot of Sauce Gardner and D.J. Reed in coverage this week, making Parker an unexciting fantasy play.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: On track despite questionable tag

St. Brown (toe) was a full practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports.

St. Brown and coach Dan Campbell both were optimistic Friday morning/afternoon, and the upgrade to full practice all but confirms Detroit's top target will suit up for the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. While he won't necessarily have volume/workload limitations, St. Brown did mention to Woodyard that he'll play with a steel plate in his shoe, suggesting there's at least some degree of concern about his injured toe. Still, St. Brown's consistent record of production over the past season and a half makes him an auto-start for most fantasy teams whenever he's active.

  • Jaylen Waddle WR | DEN

Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle: Questionable after limited practice

Waddle (concussion) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos after being a limited participant in practice Friday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.

Waddle has yet to pass the NFL's five-step concussion protocol since taking a helmet-to-helmet hit in the fourth quarter of Miami's 24-17 Week 2 win over New England, but Friday's capped session was a step in the right direction, as it marked the first time Waddle has practiced in any capacity since getting hurt. The 24-year-old wide receiver will need to clear the protocol for head injuries in order to be eligible to play Sunday. If Waddle is unable to suit up, some combination of Braxton Berrios, River Cracraft, Erik Ezukanma and Cedrick Wilson will be used to fill the void opposite Tyreek Hill at wide receiver.
