  • Jauan Jennings WR | MIN

49ers' Jauan Jennings: Gains 31 yards on TNF

Jennings caught two of three targets for 31 yards in Thursday's 30-12 win over the Giants.

It was Ray-Ray McCloud who started in place of Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) on Thursday, which kept Jennings in the No. 3 role. The former was not targeted on offense, while Jennings saw his usual allotment of targets and playing time (31 offensive snaps). It wound up being seventh-round rookie Ronnie Bell (2-24-1) who would cash in a score in Aiyuk's absence. It became clear that San Francisco's coaching staff values Jennings in his current role, limiting any potential fantasy upside ahead of a Week 4 matchup against Arizona.

  • Amari Cooper WR | LV

Browns' Amari Cooper: Clear for Week 3

Cooper (groin/shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Cooper aggravated a groin injury ahead of the Browns' Week 2 road matchup with the Steelers, but he ended up playing and logged a 74 percent snap share on his way to seven catches (on 10 targets) for 90 yards. During Week 3 prep, a shoulder issue has been bothering him in addition to the groin concern, which kept him out of Wednesday's practice before capping it with back-to-back limited sessions. Still, Cooper will be able to suit up this weekend and should continue to be quarterback Deshaun Watson's top target in Cleveland's passing game.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | WAS

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Emerges from win with sore ribs

Samuel's ribs are sore after a win over the Giants on Thursday, but testing didn't reveal any breaks or serious damage, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Despite appearing to be in pain and coming out for a couple plays at one point in the second half, Samuel handled over 90 percent of snaps in Thursday's games until things got out of hands in the fourth quarter. His 27-yard TD with six minutes remaining was the knockout blow in a 30-12 victory, putting Samuel at a 6-129-1 receiving line on 12 targets in a game the Niners played without fellow wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder). Both of the team's top WRs are banged up now, though that may not be the case by the time the Niners play their next game in Week 4 against Arizona on Sunday, Oct. 1.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | NYG

Bears' Darnell Mooney: Cleared to face Chiefs

Mooney (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game in Kansas City, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Coach Matt Eberflus suggested earlier in the week that Mooney was unlikely to miss additional time following his early departure from last week's 27-17 loss to Tampa Bay. The wideout put up a 4-53-1 line on a team-high-tying seven targets in the season opener but then didn't see any passes on 11 routes in Week 2. If nothing else, Mooney can be counted on to play a large share of Chicago's snaps while running many of his routes downfield.

  • Ravens' Odell Beckham: Ruled out for Week 3

Beckham (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 3 game against the Colts.

OBJ missed practice all week after initially injuring the ankle in the Week 2 win over the Bengals. With Beckham sidelined, the Ravens' likely three-wide set will feature Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Nelson Agholor. Beckham has five catches for 66 scoreless yards on seven targets after two games.

  • Packers' Christian Watson: Questionable for Week 3

Watson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Saints, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

After opening Week 3 prep with a limited practice Wednesday, Watson was held out Thursday. Coach Matt LaFleur downplayed the DNP, telling Matt Schneidman of The Athletic that was part of the maintenance plan with Watson's workload as he makes his way back from the hamstring injury that sidelined him for the first two games of the season. Watson's availability, or lack thereof, will become known approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Expects to play

St. Brown (toe) suggested Friday that he'll play in Sunday's game against Atlanta, Eric Woodyard of ESPN.com reports.

St. Brown's comments came about two hours after coach Dan Campbell told reporters he felt "pretty good" about the wide receiver's chances of playing. It remains to be seen how the Lions list St. Brown on their final injury report, with a 'questionable' designation still possible amidst the optimism.

  • Titans' DeAndre Hopkins: Not spotted at Friday's practice

Hopkins (ankle) wasn't spotted at practice Friday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Hopkins was limited at Thursday's practice, so his absence from the initial stages of Friday's session is worth noting. The Titans' upcoming injury report will officially confirm the wideout's participation level as well as clarify whether Hopkins approaches Sunday's game against the Browns with a Week 3 designation.

  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Dealing with illness at end of week

Samuel missed Friday's practice because of an illness and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Buffalo, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

The same goes for safety Kam Curl, who is arguably more important to Washington's defense than Samuel is to the offense. His role as the No. 3 receiver and occasional ballcarrier does have value, of course, though perhaps more so for real life than fantasy. Samuel has eight targets, two carries and 92 total yards through two weeks, playing 63 percent of snaps in Washington offense that has nine players with at least three targets and none with more than 12. An absence this Sunday for Samuel likely would mean more snaps for No. 4 receiver Dyami Brown, especially with TE Logan Thomas (concussion) already ruled out. It might also free up more slot work for Jahan Dotson and Terry McLaurin, a duo that's surprisingly accounted for only 35 percent of the team target total so far.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Chiefs' Kadarius Toney: Present for practice

Toney (toe) was spotted at practice Friday, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.

Toney didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but his presence on the field Friday offers hope that the wideout could play Sunday against the Bears. The Chiefs' looming injury report will reveal Toney's official designation heading into the weekend.
