Tyquan Thornton WR | KC
Patriots' Tyquan Thornton: Inactive versus Miami
Thornton (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
With Thornton a healthy scratch Sunday, the Patriots' Week 8 WR corps will be comprised of Kendrick Bourne, DeVante Parker, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Demario Douglas and Jalen Reagor. In two games to date, Thornton has caught two of his three targets for eight yards.

Xavier Hutchinson WR | HOU
Texans' Xavier Hutchinson: Available Sunday
Hutchinson (foot) is active ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers.
The rookie out of Iowa State was limited during Wednesday's practice, but he was able to log consecutive days of full participation both Thursday and Friday. Hutchinson has a chance to see an uptick in snaps on the Texans' offense with Robert Woods (foot) missing time.

Randall Cobb WR | NYJ
Jets' Randall Cobb: Inactive Sunday
Cobb (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Coming out of the Jets' Week 7 bye, Cobb didn't practice Wednesday, but then logged limited sessions Thursday and Friday before heading into the weekend listed as questionable. Now that it has been confirmed that the veteran slot man will be unavailable Sunday, Xavier Gipson is a candidate to see added Week 8 WR opportunities behind Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard, with Jason Brownlee and Malik Taylor also mixing in.

Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Playing Sunday
Samuel (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Eagles.
Samuel was contained to a pair of capped sessions during Week 8 prep due to a foot injury, but it won't stop him from suiting up for the eighth time in as many opportunities this season. Overall, he's fared well to date, gathering in 31 of 39 targets for 310 yards and two touchdowns while also recording four carries for 20 yards and another score. Samuel seemingly has a plus matchup for fantasy purposes on tap against a Philadelphia defense that has given up the second-most catches (110) to opposing wide receivers in seven contests this season.

Irvin Charles WR | SEA
Jets' Irvin Charles: Inactive for Week 8
Charles (shoulder) won't play in Sunday's matchup with the Giants.
Charles is dealing with a shoulder injury that forced him to sit out practice Friday after logging a pair of limited sessions to begin Week 8 prep. He came into the weekend considered doubtful to play, so it's no surprise that he'll sit out the rivalry game against the Giants. Charles has played just seven offensive snaps without logging any stats over two games for the Jets, so his absence will primarily impact the team's special-teams unit.

Jalen Nailor WR | LV
Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Officially cleared
Nailor (hamstring) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Packers, Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Nailor was designated to return from injured reserve during Week 7 prep but didn't suit up for Minnesota's win over San Francisco on Monday night. He was a limited participant during Week 8 prep but is officially cleared to make his first appearance since Week 2. Nailor played primarily on special teams during the first two games of the season, but he could get some offensive snaps with Justin Jefferson (hamstring) still on injured reserve.

Michael Thomas WR | NO
Saints' Michael Thomas: Active in Week 8
Thomas (illness) is listed as active Sunday in Indianapolis, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
The Saints added Thomas to their injury report Saturday after the wide receiver came down with an illness, but presumably after getting checked out by the team's medical and training staffs pregame, he'll be available for quarterback Derek Carr one day later. Thomas has been consistent but unspectacular from week to week this season, ranging from 3-to-7 catches, 42-to-65 yards and 6-to-9 targets per game while scoring one touchdown in seven contests.

Michael Thomas WR | NO
Saints' Michael Thomas: May play through illness
The Saints are optimistic that Thomas (illness) will be able to suit up Sunday at Indianapolis, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
After avoiding any sort of practice limitations this season, Thomas was tacked on to New Orleans' injury report Saturday as questionable to play Week 8 due to an illness. The team will have more intel about his ability to be active Sunday once he arrives at Lucas Oil Stadium, likely after he goes through a pregame workout. Thomas' status will become clearer when the Saints post their list of inactives about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
-
Josh Palmer WR | BUF
Chargers' Joshua Palmer: Game-time decision for Sunday
Palmer (knee) is considered a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Bears, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Palmer and tight end Gerald Everett (hip) are both officially listed as questionable, but the Chargers will likely gauge the health of both players during pregame warmups before deciding on their availability. Of the two players, the Chargers are reportedly more optimistic about Palmer's chances of suiting up versus Chicago. Official word on Palmer's status will arrive when the Chargers release their inactive list roughly 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff.

Curtis Samuel WR | BUF
Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Considered game-time decision
Samuel (foot) is viewed as a game-time decision for Sunday's contest against the Eagles, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Samuel is officially listed as questionable for the Week 8 contest, but his status appears as though it may hinge on how he fares during a pregame warmup. Official word on Samuel's availability will come when the Commanders release their inactive list roughly 90 minutes ahead of Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff. If Samuel were to miss time, Terry McLaurin and/or Jahan Dotson could end up handling more slot snaps, while Dyami Brown would likely step in as the Commanders' No. 3 wideout.
