  • Keenan Allen WR | LAC

Chargers' Keenan Allen: Sits out another practice

Allen (heel) didn't take part in Friday's practice, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Allen is tending to a heel injury for a third consecutive week, a span in which he hasn't been able to log any on-field work. Ultimately, the Chargers may make a decision on his availability for Sunday's game at Denver as soon as they post their final Week 17 injury report later Friday. If Allen logs a third straight absence this weekend and fellow wide receiver Joshua Palmer (concussion) joins him on the sideline, L.A. may be down to Quentin Johnston, Alex Erickson, Jalen Guyton and Derius Davis as its top options at the position.

  • Jordan Addison WR | MIN

Vikings' Jordan Addison: Listed as questionable

Addison (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

While unable to rejoin Sunday's loss to Detroit following his ankle injury in the second quarter, Addison returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant and now heads into the weekend looking truly questionable after another limited practice Friday. A game-time call would be tricky for a lot of fantasy managers, as the Vikings and Packers are the final matchup of the week with kickoff scheduled for 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday. If Addison doesn't play, Brandon Powell likely will fill in alongside Justin Jefferson and K.J. Osborn in three-wide formations. Meanwhile, rookie quarterback Jaren Hall will make his second career start, replacing Nick Mullens after the veteran's two starts produced a lot of yards and a lot of turnovers.

  • Ja'Marr Chase WR | CIN

Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase: Status in question for Week 17

Chase (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Kansas City, Jay Morrison of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Chase got back on the practice field Thursday as a limited participant and maintained that activity level one day later as he seeks to put an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder in the rearview mirror. When asked about Chase's prospects for Week 17, coach Zac Taylor told Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site, "We'll see in the next 48 hours." Chase thus may be subject to a pregame workout to get a sense of where he stands before the team makes a decision on his status about 90 minutes before Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Chiefs' Kadarius Toney: Not playing in Week 17

Toney (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.

Toney thus will miss his second week in a row due to a strained hip, which hasn't allowed him to practice during that span. In Toney's stead, the Chiefs will roll with Rashee Rice, Justin Watson, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Richie James at wide receiver Week 17. Toney's next chance for game action is the team's regular-season finale at the Chargers in Week 18.

  • Puka Nacua WR | LAR

Rams' Puka Nacua: Should play through hip injury

Nacua will miss Friday's practice with a hip injury and will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game at the Giants, but head coach Sean McVay said the wide receiver is still expected to play, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports that Nacua is dealing with tightness in his hip, something he'll attempt to play through with Los Angeles battling for a wild-card spot. The rookie sensation has been listed with shoulder, knee, rib and oblique injuries this season, but ultimately he's taken on at least 40 snaps and seven targets in each of the Rams' 15 games to date. He needs 147 receiving yards over the final two weeks to break Bill Groman's all-time rookie record (1,473 in 1960), while 129 yards would give Nacua the post-merger record set by Ja'Marr Chase (1,455) two seasons ago.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Clears concussion protocol

Pittman (concussion/shoulder) has cleared the NFL's protocol for head injuries and is in line to play against the Raiders on Sunday, barring any setbacks, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports.

The Colts' final injury report of the week will confirm whether Pittman approaches the contest with a designation or fully cleared to face Las Vegas, but at this stage it appears as though the team's top pass catcher will return to the lineup following a one-game absence.

  • Packers' Dontayvion Wicks: Not practicing, unlikely to play

Wicks (chest/ankle) isn't practicing Friday and isn't likely to play Sunday against the Vikings, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Wicks played through an ankle injury last week and filled in for Christian Watson (hamstring) until a chest injury in the second quarter ended his day early. Coach Matt LaFleur said Wicks and Watson would need to practice Friday to have a shot at playing this week, and with neither having done so, it looks like Malik Heath and/or Bo Melton will get significant playing time again.

  • Packers' Christian Watson: Unlikely to play

Watson (hamstring) isn't practicing Friday and isn't likely to play Sunday against the Vikings, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Coach Matt LaFleur said Watson and fellow wideout Dontayvion Wicks (chest/ankle) would need to practice Friday in order to play Sunday. Neither is doing so, but slot man Jayden Reed (toe/chest) at least seems to have a shot to make it back after missing Week 16.

  • Amari Cooper WR | LV

Browns' Amari Cooper: Coach hopes he'll be back Week 18

Coach Kevin Stefanski said Friday that he's hopeful Cooper (heel) will be available for next Sunday's Week 18 game against the Bengals, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Per Stefanski, Cooper tried hard to play Thursday against the Jets but ultimately wasn't ready to go on a short week. The Browns won 37-20 despite Cooper's absence, clinching a playoff spot in the process, so Cleveland can afford to take a cautious approach with its top wide receiver Week 18 and hold Cooper out unless his heel is fully healed.

  • Elijah Moore WR | PHI

Browns' Elijah Moore: Out of hospital but in protocol

Moore (concussion) was released from the hospital Friday after staying there overnight, but he's been placed in the NFL's concussion protocol, Jake Trotter of ESPN.com reports.

Moore stayed down on the field and convulsed involuntarily after hitting his head on the ground in the second quarter of Thursday's 37-20 win over the Jets. He eventually walked off under his own power, and it's encouraging that Moore subsequently has left the hospital, though it's no surprise that he suffered a concussion. He'll have a few extra days to try to clear the protocol for head injuries before the Browns face the Bengals in Week 18, though Cleveland can afford to take a cautious approach with the wide receiver after clinching a playoff spot with Thursday's win.
