Justin Jefferson WR | MIN
Vikings' Justin Jefferson: Eclipses century mark in loss
Jefferson secured eight of nine targets for 115 yards in the Vikings' 30-20 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.
Jefferson comfortably paced the Vikings in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night while generating his second 100-yard effort of the season. The catch total also was a season high for Jefferson, who had one of the highlights of the night for either club when he made a one-handed, contested juggling grab of 27 yards down the left sideline that took the ball down to the Rams' four-yard line. Jefferson next draws an enticing matchup against a vulnerable Colts secondary during a Week 9 home matchup on Sunday night, Nov. 3.

Derius Davis WR | LAC
Chargers' Derius Davis: Back-to-back DNPs to start week
Davis (hamstring) did not participate in Thursday's practice, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
Davis missed Monday's game against the Cardinals due to a hamstring injury, and his consecutive DNPs to open the week don't bode well for his chances of playing Sunday against the Saints. The 2023 fourth-round pick will have one more chance to return to practice Friday ahead of the final injury report of the week.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. WR | DET
Saints' Cedrick Wilson: No practice Thursday
Wilson (hip) didn't practice Thursday.
After logging a limited session Wednesday due to a hip injury, Wilson didn't mix into drills at all one day later, which is a somewhat worrisome sign in advance of the weekend. Friday's practice could be telling for his odds to suit up Sunday at the Chargers, but if he ends up being available, he'd help to fill the void left behind by Rashid Shaheed, who is out for the season following meniscus surgery.
-
Steven Sims WR | ARI
Texans' Steven Sims: Logs full practice Thursday
Sims (back) was a full practice participant Thursday.
Sims was unable to play in Week 7 against the Packers due to a back injury. He was held out of practice Wednesday, but he was able to practice without restrictions Thursday. Unless he suffers a setback, Sims should be good to go for Sunday's AFC South clash against Indianapolis. Sims has logged 89 kick-return yards and 56 punt-return yards across five regular-season games this year.

Puka Nacua WR | LAR
Rams' Puka Nacua: Back in action in Week 8
Nacua (knee) is listed as active Thursday against the Vikings, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Nacua missed the entire preseason slate due to a bursa sac issue, and while he was able to suit up Week 1 in Detroit, he aggravated the injury in that contest and landed on injured reserve. He officially was diagnosed with a PCL sprain in his right knee, which sidelined him for the Rams' next five games, but he was designated for return from IR on Tuesday, logged back-to-back limited sessions and then was activated Thursday, paving the way for his return to action. Cooper Kupp (ankle) also will be making his first appearance since Week 2, but he likely will be the Rams' leading pass catcher considering he was listed as full on all three of the team's Week 8 practice reports. Meanwhile, Nacua very well may be operating on some sort of snap count Thursday.

Jauan Jennings WR | MIN
49ers' Jauan Jennings: Still not practicing
Jennings (hip) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Jennings has yet to log any on-field work since he showed up on the 49ers' injury report last Wednesday with a hip issue. Meanwhile, the top of the 49ers' receiving corps is compromised, with Brandon Aiyuk (knee) out for the season and Deebo Samuel (wrist) in recovery mode from pneumonia. Samuel was able to log a limited practice Thursday, so he seemingly has a better chance than Jennings to be available Sunday against the Cowboys.
-
Deebo Samuel WR | SF
49ers' Deebo Samuel: Limited in return to practice
Samuel (wrist/illness) was limited at Thursday's practice, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
After logging only four snaps on offense this past Sunday against the Chiefs due to an illness, coach Kyle Shanahan revealed Monday that the wide receiver was diagnosed with pneumonia and in the hospital. Samuel was discharged Tuesday, and just two days later he was back on the practice field with a cap on his reps. The 49ers are giving him a chance to play Sunday versus the Cowboys, but Friday's injury report ultimately will reveal whether or not he goes into the weekend with a designation for that contest.

Bryce Ford-Wheaton WR | NYG
Giants' Bryce Ford-Wheaton: Now dealing with Achilles injury
Ford-Wheaton (Achilles) was listed as a limited practice participant Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Ford-Wheaton was able to play through a shoulder injury during the Giants' Week 7 loss to the Eagles, during which he played 30 snaps on special teams and one on offense. He appears to have picked up an Achilles injury during the loss, however, and his practice participation over the next two days will provide clarity on his ability to play Monday against the Steelers.
-
DJ Chark WR | ATL
Chargers' DJ Chark: Still limited at practice
Chark (groin) remained limited at practice Thursday.
Since having his 21-day practice window opened last Wednesday, Chark has continued to log limited practices. The Chargers' WR corps is pretty banged-up at the moment, with Quentin Johnston (ankle), Ladd McConkey (hip) and Derius Davis (hamstring) also on the injury report, but it's unclear if Chark will be activated from IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Saints.
-
Chris Olave WR | NO
Saints' Chris Olave: Full practice Thursday
Olave (concussion) practiced in full Thursday, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
Olave sustained a concussion Sunday, Oct. 13 against the Buccaneers and sat out last Thursday's loss versus the Broncos, but he's made quick work this week by following up Wednesday's limited session with all activity one day later. It's unclear if he's made his way through the protocol for head injuries, but he'll need to gain clearance from an independent neurologist in order to return to action Sunday at the Chargers.
