  • Dolphins' Ryan Miller: Questionable for Sunday

Miller (hip) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports. Miller was limited in Wednesday's practice before missing Thursday's session. The wide receiver ultimately upgraded to full participation in Friday's session, making it likely that Miller will be able to suit up as a depth option for Sunday's contest.

  • Dolphins' Ryan Miller: Misses practice Thursday

Miller (hip) did not practice Thursday. Miller opened the week by practicing in a limited capacity, but he wasn't out there Thursday, which isn't an encouraging sign regarding his availability for the Week 3 meeting with the Chiefs. Miller logged only seven offensive snaps in the 35-13 loss to the 49ers in Week 2. However, with Chris Bell (knee) and Caleb Douglas (ankle) also battling injuries, there's a path for more playing time for Miller on Sunday, depending on who is available.

  • Dolphins' Ryan Miller: Dealing with hip issue

Miller (hip/back) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports. It's not clear when Miller suffered the injury, but his availability for Week 3 is now in doubt. If he's not able to practice in full Thursday or Friday, there's a good chance he'll end up carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Dolphins' Ryan Miller: Catches long TD in Week 2 defeat

Miller caught his only target for a 77-yard touchdown Sunday in a loss to the 49ers. Miller worked mostly on special teams during the contest, but he got a chance to play seven offensive snaps. The fourth-year wideout made the most of the opportunity, connecting with QB Malik Willis on a 77-yard score late in the fourth quarter. The game was out of reach for Miami at that point, but it was still a significant moment for Miller as he tries to earn more playing time on offense. The door could be open a crack for that, as Caleb Douglas hurt his ankle Sunday and is uncertain to be able to play Week 3. With that in mind, Miller is buried pretty deep on Miami's WR depth chart, so he's not guaranteed to see the field often even if Douglas is ruled out.

  • Ryan Miller: Cut loose by Giants

Miller was waived by the Giants on Monday. Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Miller was brought in this spring before the 2026 Draft and had been working to earn a roster spot. However, with final cutdowns looming, the Giants have opted to go in a different direction and Miller is now subject to waivers.

  • Giants' Ryan Miller: Officially re-signed by G-Men

The Giants re-signed Miller on Tuesday. The 26-year-old wideout logged 13 regular-season appearances with Tampa Bay in 2025, securing two of four targets for 34 yards and a score. Miller had been claimed off waivers by the Giants in December and tendered as an exclusive rights free agent.

  • Giants' Ryan Miller: Joining Big Blue

Miller is slated to sign with the Giants, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports. The 26-year-old wideout from Furman appeared in 13 games for the Buccaneers in 2025, catching two of four targets for 34 yards and a touchdown across 328 total snaps (205 on special teams, 123 on offense). Following his deal with the Giants, Miller will likely compete for a depth spot in New York's wide receiver room ahead of the 2026 season.

  • Giants' Ryan Miller: Not playing Sunday

Miller (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 18 matchup versus Dallas, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. The Giants claimed Miller off waivers from Tampa Bay on Dec. 11, but they won't end up deploying him for any game action. The third-year wideout will finish the campaign having played in 13 contests (all with the Buccaneers), tallying two catches on four targets for 34 yards and a touchdown. Of Miller's 14 career NFL catches, three have gone for a score.

  • Giants' Ryan Miller: Claimed by New York

The Giants claimed Miller off waivers Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Miller was waived by the Buccaneers on Wednesday after playing in all 13 games for the franchise this season. The wide receiver plays the majority of his snaps with the special-teams unit and was likely waived due to the Buccaneers' receiving room getting healthier. With Gunner Olszewski (concussion) questionable for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Miller may be thrust into a role as the Giants' No. 5 wide receiver in his first game with the team.

  • Ryan Miller: Waived as TB gets WRs back

Miller was waived by the Buccaneers on Wednesday. The Buccaneers activated Mike Evans (collarbone) and Jalen McMillan (neck) from injured reserve Wednesday. Miller and defensive lineman C.J. Brewer were waived to clear roster spots for the pair of returning wide receivers. In eight appearances for the Buccaneers this season, Miller had just two catches for 34 yards and a touchdown.

  • Buccaneers' Ryan Miller: No targets despite WR injuries

Miller did not log a target over 20 snaps in the Buccaneers' 23-3 win over the Saints on Sunday. Despite the absences of Mike Evans (IR, collarbone/concussion) and Chris Godwin (fibula), Miller wasn't able to draw a single target from Baker Mayfield, who attempted only 24 passes on the afternoon. Miller has just a 2-34-1 receiving line on four targets across eight games this season, and with Godwin likely able to return following the Week 9 bye, the former has virtually no fantasy value for the foreseeable future.

  • Buccaneers' Ryan Miller: Gets into end zone Monday

Miller secured his only target for a 20-yard touchdown in the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night. Miller was in on 18 of 80 snaps from scrimmage and made good use of his one opportunity, coming down with a Baker Mayfield scoring strike along the back right of the end zone in the first quarter. The Furman product now has three touchdown receptions on 13 career NFL catches, but as the Buccaneers' receiver corps gets healthier in coming weeks with the anticipated season debuts of Chris Godwin (ankle) and Jalen McMillan (IR-neck), Miller will find snaps, targets and perhaps even active status hard to come by.

  • Buccaneers' Ryan Miller: Two catches in preseason finale

Miller brought in two of three targets for 18 yards in the Buccaneers' 23-19 preseason loss to the Bills on Saturday night. Miller recorded multiple catches for the third time in as many preseason games. The 25-year-old had a busy exhibition slate that saw him generate a 10-95-0 line on 13 targets, but the Buccaneers' deep receiver depth chart may prove hard to crack come final cuts.

  • Buccaneers' Ryan Miller: Fills No. 3 receiver role Sunday

Miller secured two of four targets for 26 yards in the Buccaneers' 48-14 win over the Panthers on Sunday. Miller operated as the No. 3 receiver Sunday with Sterling Shepard sidelined due to hamstring and foot injuries, and the Furman product fittingly finished with 43 snaps (56 percent), just behind starters Mike Evans (48, 62 percent) and Jalen McMillan (53, 69 percent). Miller turned in a modest line overall but managed to record multiple catches for a second straight game, and he figures to reprise his role in a Week 18 home matchup versus the Saints if Shepard remains sidelined.

  • Buccaneers' Ryan Miller: Back to reduced role Sunday

Miller brought in his only target for 14 yards in the Buccaneers' 30-7 win over the Giants on Sunday. Miller saw a precipitous drop in playing time with Mike Evans and Jalen McMillan returning to action from their respective hamstring injuries. The Furman product went from a season-high 50 snaps in Week 10 against the 49ers to a season-low 15 (23 percent) on Sunday, but it appears the Buccaneers may continue to keep six wide receivers active on occasion down the stretch as they did against the Giants. In such an instance, Miller, who's now posted at least one catch in five straight games, would figure to continue garnering active status and working as a No. 5 or No. 6 receiver.

  • Buccaneers' Ryan Miller: One catch in Week 10 loss

Miller secured one of three targets for 11 yards in the Buccaneers' 23-20 loss to the 49ers on Sunday. Miller once again was active with Mike Evans (hamstring) still out and Jalen McMillan available but not playing any snaps. Miller logged a robust 52 snaps (85 percent), but as his final line substantiates, he couldn't make much of an impact. The Furman product now has at least one reception in four consecutive games, but with both Evans and McMillan thought to have a good chance of suiting up following the Week 11 bye, Miller's days on the active roster may be numbered.

  • Buccaneers' Ryan Miller: Three receptions in reserve role

Miller brought in three of five targets for 19 yards in the Buccaneers' 31-26 loss to the Falcons on Sunday. The Furman product was in on 30 snaps (41.0 percent), logging the fourth-most plays from scrimmage in the Buccaneers' short-handed receiving corps. Miller has shown well with his limited opportunities across his two regular-season appearances this season, and the fact Mike Evans (hamstring) will remain out through the Week 11 bye and Chris Godwin (IR, ankle) is out for the rest of the regular season should continue affording the second-year wideout opportunity to remain on the 53- man roster.

  • Ryan Miller: Waived by Tampa Bay

Miller was waived by the Buccaneers on Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports. The wide receiver signed a reserve/future contract with the Bucs in January after spending 2023 on the team's practice squad. Miller did appear in one regular-season game last year, playing on 12 special-teams snaps and two offensive snaps.

  • Buccaneers' Ryan Miller: Leads pass catchers in opener

Miller secured three of five targets for 42 yards in the Buccaneers' 17-14 preseason loss to the Bengals on Saturday night. The second-year pro set the pace for the Buccaneers in receptions and receiving yards while sharing the team lead in targets. Miller was on the practice squad in 2023 but did log two snaps from scrimmage and 12 special-teams snaps in one regular-season game, and his current push to land a deep reserve receiver spot certainly got off to a strong start with Saturday's performance. However, Miller will have to continue standing out to have any chance of that occurring, considering he has formidable competition in the form of Rakim Jarrett, among others.

  • Buccaneers' Ryan Miller: Elevated ahead of Sunday's contest

Tampa Bay elevated Miller to its active roster Saturday. The 23-year-old wideout was elevated to the Buccaneers' active roster alongside David Moore on Saturday, making it seem as if the team could be preparing to be without Chris Godwin (neck) in Sunday's affair with the Panthers. Miller has yet to appear in an NFL game, but he has been with Tampa Bay's practice squad since late August.
