Hendershot is questionable to return to Monday's playoff game against the Buccaneers with a thigh injury, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Hendershot was deemed questionable to return midway through the first quarter, so it's likely this injury occurred early during Monday's contest. The 23-year-old tight end has logged four targets over the Cowboys' past nine games, and his absence should leave Sean McKeon to take on a bigger role behind Dalton Schultz and Jake Ferguson for the time being.

Mabry caught one pass for seven yards through three games during the 2022 season.

Mabry was signed to the active roster after Will Dissly (knee) was placed on injured reserve. The 26-year-old tight end totaled just eight offensive snaps. He'll be on the roster bubble in 2023 whether he's in Seattle or elsewhere.

Fant posted 50 catches (63 targets) for 486 yards and four touchdowns through 17 games during the 2022 season.

While Fant tied his career high of four touchdowns, this was his worst season in terms of receiving yards. The fourth-year tight end split snaps with Will Dissly for the first 15 games, but when Dissly went down with a knee injury, Fant didn't take over the No. 1 job. Instead, Colby Parkinson leapfrogged Fant and operated as the clear top tight end. That setup is concerning for Fant heading into 2023, as both Dissly and Parkinson are under contract for at least one more year.

Parkinson caught three of six targets for 14 yards in Saturday's 41-23 playoff loss to the 49ers.

Parkinson's usage immediately skyrocketed when Will Dissly (knee) went down with a knee injury, as he played at 79 percent of the offensive snaps over the final two regular-season games. He also recorded 16 targets over the final three games, including the postseason. Most importantly, he ran ahead of former first-round pick Noah Fant in all three of those games. Parkinson still never posted more than 47 yards in a game all season. The Seahawks' tight end room will be tough to decipher heading into the 2023 season, as Parkinson, Fant and Dissly are all projected to be on the roster again.

Thompson's (calf) contract with the Panthers' practice squad expired Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Thompson spent the last three years with Carolina, primarily playing as a core special-teamer in 26 regular-season games during this span. The 29-year-old tight end was then waived with a calf injury at the end of this preseason before re-joining via the practice squad Aug. 31. Thompson then did not appear in a game during the 2022 campaign, and he'll now focus on finding a new team ahead of the 2023 season.

The Chargers signed Kampmoyer to a reserve/future deal Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Kampmoyer spent the entire campaign on the Chargers' practice squad, but with his new deal, he'll have a chance to compete for an active roster spot throughout training camp. The undrafted tight end out of Oregon made one appearance for Los Angeles last year, but he failed to record any counting stats across three offensive snaps.

Kroft finished the regular season with four receptions for 57 yards over 11 active games.

Kroft was brought to San Francisco to provide blocking help as a backup tight end, and he stuck in that role almost exclusively all season. The 30-year-old has never been a fantasy contributor, and that's unlikely to change at this point of his career. Kroft will be an unrestricted free agent in 2023.

Muse signed a reserve/future contract with the Vikings on Monday.

Muse bounced back and forth between Minnesota's active roster and practice squad this season. Over 10 appearances, the rookie seventh-rounder served as a core special-teamer while playing just two offensive snaps all season. Muse will look to carve out a larger role on offense heading into the 2023 campaign.

Head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that Dissly will wait a few months to see if his knee injury will heal without surgery, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Dissly is avoiding surgery for now, but it sounds like it may still be in the cards if the tight end's knee doesn't progress well enough early in the offseason. The fifth-year tight end caught 34 receptions for 349 yards and three touchdowns across 15 regular-season games, but he ended the campaign on injured reserve with what was initially described as a knee contusion. If Dissly ultimately has to undergo offseason surgery, it may impact his availability for the start of the 2023 campaign, but there likely won't be another update on his status for awhile.

Rogers caught five of six targets for 64 yards in 11 games during the 2022 season.

Rogers was a dual-threat QB at UNLV and Ohio before catching on with the Commanders as an undrafted free agent and converting to tight end. He's listed at only 225 pounds, but the team nonetheless trusted him to play at least 13 snaps in five straight games Weeks 6-10 while John Bates, Logan Thomas and Cole Turner alternately dealt with injuries. Rogers likely will be tasked with adding weight this offseason and could make a push up the depth chart with no mainstay ahead of him, though he's already 25 and faces an uphill battle to approximate Thomas' unusual career arc (also a college QB, and a late bloomer in the pros).
