Conklin caught one of two targets for 10 yards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Titans.

Conklin saw one fewer target than backup tight end Jeremy Ruckert, though the latter finished without a catch. Conklin was also on the field for 32 more offensive snaps than Ruckert. With just one catch in each of the Jets' first two games, Conklin looks like he'll be playing a smaller role in the passing game with Aaron Rodgers under center after racking up 87 targets in each of his first two seasons with the team. Conklin's involvement as a receiver will likely remain limited in Thursday's game against the Patriots.

Stover caught his lone target for 18 yards in Sunday's 19-13 win over the Bears in Week 2.

Stover was once again the third tight end for the Texans, but the former Ohio State teammate of quarterback C.J. Stroud made his first catch in the NFL on Sunday. Opportunities are limited for the rookie, who is playing behind Dalton Schultz and Brevin Jordan.

Jordan caught his lone target for four yards in Sunday's 19-13 win over the Bears in Week 2.

For a second consecutive week, there wasn't much happening for Jordan, who has just three targets (two catches) for seven yards thus far. The tight end group is seeing fewer targets overall than in 2023. Houston's tight ends accounted for nearly 21 percent of the team's targets last season compared to 15 percent through the first two weeks of 2024.

Schultz caught two of three targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 19-13 win over Chicago in Week 2.

Schultz dealt with a minor ankle injury that forced him to miss two practices this week, but he was ready to go Sunday. The tight end has five catches on six targets for 37 yards through two games. Schultz had five more targets after two weeks in 2023, which suggests the addition of wide receiver Stefon Diggs is cutting into his opportunities.

Everett caught two passes for one yard in the Bears' 19-13 loss to the Texans on Sunday.

After playing more snaps than teammate Cole Kmet in Week 1, Everett was scaled back to a 36 percent snap share in Week 2. On the season, Everett has three catches for zero yards. Everett's lack of yardage per catch makes him difficult to trust in fantasy lineups.

Whiteheart went untargeted over 24 snaps in Sunday's 18-13 win over the Jaguars.

With David Njoku (ankle) unavailable, Whiteheart was elevated from the practice squad to back up Jordan Akins at tight end. The two combined for just one target, far below Njoku's typical volume. If Njoku isn't ready to return, Whiteheart could be active again in Week 3 when the Browns host the Giants.

Akins caught his lone target for 10 yards in Sunday's 18-13 win over Jacksonville in Week 2.

Akins drew the start at tight end with David Njoku (ankle) sidelined. The Browns elevated Blake Whiteheart from the practice squad for the game, and he played 24 snaps behind Akins (35 snaps). Akins has caught four of five targets for 37 yards through two weeks. While a healthy Njoku is a key part of the passing attack -- he was targeted five times before leaving Week 1's loss to the Cowboys -- Akins is not expected to see that level of volume even as a starter.

Dulcich recorded three receptions on eight targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Steelers.

Dulcich joined Javonte Williams as Bo Nix's favorite target in the short areas of the field and led Denver in targets. However, he didn't capitalize on the opportunity, as he neither hauled in a high percentage of his looks nor had any significant gains. Dulcich could continue to get opportunity as no other tight end was targeted in Sunday's game, though his ability to turn that into relevant production is questionable.

Freiermuth recorded four receptions on four targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 13-6 win over Denver.

The Steelers ran a very conservative offense in the win, leaving Freiermith as the team's leader in receptions and yards. His longest gain of the day went for 14 yards midway through the first quarter, a catch that set up the only touchdown of the game for either team. Preseason concerns about a diminished role in the offense for Freiermuth appear unfounded through two games, but the lack of aggression has limited the potential of all of Pittsburgh's pass catchers.

Kmet pulled in four of five passes for 27 yards in Sunday's 19-13 loss to Houston.

Kmet's four-catch night was a step forward after he recored just one reception in the Bears' season-opening win over Tennessee. The starting tight end's production still left much to be desired from a fantasy perspective. Veteran backup Gerald Everett (three targets) continues to eat into Kmet's fantasy upside as the team prepares to face Indianapolis on Sunday.
