The Colts released Tomlinson on Tuesday, JJ Stankevitz of the team's official site reports.

Tomlinson spent time on both the Ravens' and Colts' practice squads in 2023, though he was not elevated for a game. He stuck around with Indianapolis on a reserve/future contract in January in the hopes of making the 53-man roster as a depth tight end. Across three preseason games, Tomlinson accumulated two catches on four targets for 24 yards. He could be invited to stick around in Indianapolis on the practice squad, or he could look to a join a different team in need of tight end depth.

Kampmoyer was waived by the Broncos on Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official website reports.

Kampmoyer signed with the Broncos on Aug. 2, catching four passes while compiling 42 receiving yards during preseason. If he clears waivers, he'll likely join Denver's practice squad ahead of the 2024 season.

The Patriots cut Wilcox on Tuesday.

After spending the first three years of his NFL career with the Bengals -- during which he appeared in 48 regular-season games -- Wilcox signed with the Patriots in April. He was competing for a depth tight end role in training camp, but he only played in the first two preseason games, during which he recorded just two catches on five targets for nine yards. Given his previous experience, Wilcox should manage to catch on with another team either on the roster or practice squad.

Williams was waived by Pittsburgh on Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Williams played 240 snaps (54 on offense, 186 on special teams) across 13 regular-season games for the Steelers in 2023. He wasn't able to record a catch across three preseason games, and he will be on the lookout for his next opportunity assuming he doesn't get picked up by another team off waivers.

Sokol was waived by the Steelers on Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.

Sokol caught on with the Steelers in late July after spending 2023 with the Patriots. Sokol failed to register a catch across three preseason games, and assuming he clears waivers, he'll explore his next options.

Rex was waived by the Chargers on Tuesday.

Rex was a late addition to the Chargers' training camp. He signed with the Bolts on Thursday and played in the preseason finale against the Cowboys on Saturday, though he wasn't targeted. Assuming he clears waivers, Rex could catch on with a team's practice squad.

The Chargers waived Heins on Tuesday.

After going undrafted, the South Dakota State tight end signed as a free agent with the Chargers in April. Heins didn't accrue a catch until the Chargers' preseason finale against the Cowboys on Saturday, when he posted one reception for 11 yards. He'll explore his next options assuming he clears waivers.

The Chargers waived Fisk on Tuesday.

After being waived off the Falcons' IR in May, Fisk managed to catch on with the Chargers on Aug. 14. He didn't accrue a catch in the Bolts' second preseason game and sat out of the preseason finale against the Cowboys on Saturday. Fisk will explore his next options should he go unclaimed off waivers.

The Packers waived Pearson on Tuesday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports.

Pearson has bounced off and on the Packers' roster over the last couple seasons. He appeared in two games last year, seeing 11 offensive snaps and another 23 on special teams.

The Chargers waived Benson on Tuesday.

Benson managed to catch on with the Chargers in April as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech. He spent minicamp and training camp competing for a depth tight end spot, and across three preseason outings, he caught two passes on four targets for 14 yards. Assuming he clears waivers, Benson could opt to stick around on the Chargers' practice squad or catch on with another team elsewhere.
