Higgins reeled in 20 of 24 targets for 172 yards and two touchdowns over 17 regular-season contests in 2024.

Trey McBride dominated snaps (89.3 percent on offense) and targets (147) among Cardinals tight ends this season, but Higgins (38.0 percent) still had a consistent role in the offense, as did blocking specialist and rookie third-round pick Tip Reiman (41.2 percent, seven targets). A 2023 sixth-round pick of the Dolphins, Higgins has two years remaining on his rookie contract, but as long as McBride is around, he will find it difficult to make an impact in Arizona's offense.

Hurst appeared in nine regular-season games for the Chargers in 2024, recording eight catches (on 13 targets) for 73 yards.

Hurst joined the Chargers on a one-year contract last March, with expectations of bouncing back after a down year in Carolina. Instead, the 31-year-old set career-low marks across the board, including not recording a touchdown for the first time in his seven-year career. A hip injury, which led to a stint on IR, derailed any momentum he may have been building early in the season with his new squad. Ultimately, he finished the campaign as a healthy scratch in their wild-card matchup against the Texans.

Smartt played in 15 regular-season games in 2024, making 16 catches (on 19 targets) for 208 yards.

Smartt's reception and yardage totals were career highs, despite playing 122 offensive snaps less in 2024 than he had in 2023. The Old Dominion product is set to be a restricted free agent in March and is a candidate to return to the squad in 2025, depending on how the Chargers rework their tight-end corps with only Will Dissly under contract for next season.

Fisk appeared in nine regular-season games for the Chargers in 2024, collecting seven receptions (on eight targets) for 39 yards.

Fisk signed with the team's active roster Nov. 9 after starting the season on its practice squad. Injuries to Will Dissly and Hayden Hurst opened up the opportunity for the Stanford product, who spent the previous season in Atlanta. Fisk is set to be an exclusive-rights free agent in March but is a candidate to return to the team, depending on what direction they go this offseason at tight end.

Dissly secured 50 of 64 targets for a career-high 481 yards and two touchdowns across 15 regular-season appearances with Los Angeles in 2024. He caught two of five targets for 16 yards during the team's wild-card round loss to the Texans.

Dissly emerged as a consistent target for quarterback Justin Herbert in his inaugural season with the Chargers, setting new career-high marks across the board as a receiver. That said, the veteran tight end remained a fringe fantasy option in formats that start just one tight end, as he exceeded 50 yards in a game just twice during the 2024 season. Dissly remains under contract with Los Angeles for the next two years, though the team will have a potential 'out' to evaluate after the 2025 campaign.

Trautman finished 2024 with 13 receptions (on 22 targets) for 188 yards and two touchdowns in 17 regular-season games.

Trautman's 13 grabs this season marked a career low for the Dayton product, while his 22 targets, 188 yards and two touchdowns were his lowest totals since arriving in Denver. Despite being the Broncos' No. 1 tight end, the 27-year-old spent most of the season in a timeshare with Lucas Krull and Nate Adkins. Trautman will enter 2025 in the second year of the two-year contract he signed last March before becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2026. The 6-foot-5, 253-pounder likely will continue to play a similar role in head coach Sean Payton's system next season, severely limiting his fantasy potential once again.

Conner (knee), who ended the 2024 campaign on IR, secured three of four targets for 16 yards across eight regular-season appearances with the Dolphins.

Conner landed on IR due to an undisclosed left knee injury in mid-November. The 26-year-old tight end remains under contract with Miami for the 2025 campaign, so it will be notable to monitor whether he's healthy enough to participate at the start of offseason activities.

Stoll was not targeted across four regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2024. He also appeared in seven regular-season games with the Eagles, securing two of three targets for 10 yards.

Stoll concluded the 2024 campaign on Miami's roster after having been claimed off waivers from Philadelphia. Back in 2023, he put up five catches for 38 yards (on eight targets) across 17 regular-season appearances with the Eagles. The 27-year-old tight end will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Hendershot caught five passes on as many targets for 51 yards across seven regular-season games in 2024.

Hendershot was traded by the Cowboys to the Chiefs in late August. He signed with Kansas City's practice squad in mid-September after being waived from the 53-man roster, but Hendershot was brought back to the active roster in early November after Jared Wiley tore his ACL during practice. Hendershot was on injured reserve between Weeks 13 and 17 due to a calf injury, but he was activated from IR in late December and was part of the Chiefs' roster during their playoff run to Super Bowl LIX. Hendershot enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent and will look to join a team that can give him a more prominent role on offense.

Deguara (shoulder) registered three catches on as many targets for 14 yards across 15 regular-season games in 2024.

Deguara signed a one-year, $1.29 million contract with the Jaguars in March 2024 after spending the first four years of his NFL career with the Packers. He failed to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but after opting to stay on the practice squad he eventually was signed to Jacksonville's active roster in late September. Deguara mostly was used on special teams, though he did see a slight uptick in offensive snaps when Evan Engram (shoulder) was sidelined due to injury late in the season. Deguara will explore his options during the offseason as an unrestricted free agent.
