The Eagles have opened up the practice window for Uzomah (abdomen) ahead of the Super Bowl.

Uzomah, who suffered an abdominal injury during Week 17 action, will thus have an opportunity to resume practicing ahead of the Eagles' Feb. 9 contest against the Chiefs. If Uzomah is activated ahead of the Super Bowl, he'd bolster the depth of a Philadelphia tight end corps that's currently led by Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra. Prior to his injury, Uzomah was not targeted during the seven regular-season games that he played in.

Woerner caught seven passes (on 12 targets) for 46 yards across 16 regular-season games in 2024.

Woerner signed a three-year, $12 million contract with Atlanta in March of 2024 after spending the first four years of his NFL career with San Francisco. He firmly operated as the Falcons' No. 2 tight end for most of the 2024 campaign behind Kyle Pitts. Woerner saw his playing time on offense increase following the Week 12 bye, playing at least 30 offensive snaps over the final six games of the regular season and logging five catches (on eight targets) for 29 yards over that span. He also registered four tackles (two solo) while contributing on special teams.

The Bills signed Davidson to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Alec White of the team's official site reports.

Davidson spent the entire 2024 campaign on the Bills' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was elevated for three regular-season games, playing both offense and special teams and logging one catch (on two targets) for five yards. Davidson will be on Buffalo's 90-man roster when the new league year starts March 12, which will allow him to participate in OTAs, minicamp and training camp.

Goedert (rest/ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report.

An ankle issue affected Goedert's practice participation ahead of this past Sunday's 55-23 win over the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game, but he approached that contest without an injury designation and ending up logging 58 of 71 snaps on offense while catching seven of his eight targets for 85 yards and carrying twice for 13 yards. With no reported setbacks coming out of that contest, Goedert's listed absence Wednesday was likely a result of the Eagles managing his reps. He's not expected to face any limitations in the Eagles' Feb. 9 Super Bowl matchup with the Chiefs.

The Falcons signed Kalinic to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Matt Urben of USA Today reports.

Kalinic suited up for two games with the Rams in 2024, while also spending time on Los Angeles' practice squad. He contributed exclusively on special teams (28 snaps) in that span. Now, the journeyman tight end will get a chance to continue his development with the Falcons this offseason.

FitzPatrick was targeted once and caught one pass for two yards across nine games in the 2024 regular season.

FitzPatrick got some opportunities after being scooped off Atlanta's practice squad in October, but he wound up playing only 69 snaps on offense and was an afterthought in the passing game. It remains to be seen if Green Bay will retain FitzPatrick over the offseason, but if it does, he will compete for a roster spot during training camp.

Sims was targeted five times and caught four passes for 42 yards across 17 games in the 2024 season.

Sims appeared in every regular-season game the Packers played in 2024 and served as the backup tight end while Luke Musgrave missed 10 weeks, but he was mainly limited to blocking duties. The Packers know what they have in the third-year player, which bodes well for his chances of retaining a roster spot in 2025. However, chances are Green Bay will look to bring in at least another option behind starting tight end Tucker Kraft.

Musgrave was targeted 10 times and caught seven passes for 45 yards across seven games in the 2024 season.

Musgrave was a trendy sleeper heading into his sophomore campaign after showing some flashes as a rookie, but he was quietly surpassed by fellow tight end Tucker Kraft over the offseason, and he got off to a slow start before missing 10 games from Week 5 onward. Musgrave returned in Week 16, but by that point Kraft had solidified his grasp as Green Bay's top tight end, and Musgrave filled a bit role the rest of the way. A 2023 second-round pick, Musgrave still possesses some upside heading into his third season, but heading into 2025 he will be no better than the backup tight end for the Packers.

Turner signed a reserve/future contract with the Commanders on Tuesday.

Turner spent the entire 2024 season on the Commanders' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp. The Nevada product has played in 22 regulars-season games since being selected by Washington in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Turner will be on the Commanders' 90-man roster at the start of the new league year, and he'll use OTAs, minicamp and training camp as an opportunity to earn a spot on the 53-man roster for the 2025 campaign.

The Commanders signed Jackson to a reserve/future contract Tuesday.

Jackson was signed to the Commanders' practice squad mid-December after spending most of the 2024 regular season recovering from an undisclosed injury that caused him to be waived by the Giants during training camp in mid-August. By signing a futures deal, Jackson will be on the Commanders' 90-man roster when the new league year starts March 12. That gives him the opportunity to participate in OTAS, minicamp and training camp in the hopes of catching on with the 53-man roster for the 2025 campaign.
