  • Moliki Matavao: Cut by New Orleans

The Saints waived Matavao on Saturday.

New Orleans selected Matavao in the seventh round of the 2025 Draft, and he's appeared in three games this season. However, he's seen just 12 snaps on special teams.

  • Saints' Foster Moreau: Off PUP list, still questionable

The Saints activated Moreau (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Saturday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's contest against the Giants.

The same can be said for fellow TE Taysom Hill (knee), giving both players a chance to make their season debuts Week 5. Moreau himself has been in recovery mode since suffering a knee injury in Week 18 of last season that required surgery and a stint on the PUP list to begin the current campaign. With all of Juwan Johnson (ankle), Hill and Moreau questionable for Sunday's game, the latter's workload is to be determined, assuming he's active.

  • Taysom Hill TE | NO

Saints' Taysom Hill: Activated from PUP list, still questionable

The Saints activated Hill (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Saturday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Hill thus is eligible for his first game action since tearing the ACL in his left knee Week 13 of last season after being a limited participant in practice during the entirety of Week 5 prep. On Wednesday, he was spotted working mostly with the Saints quarterbacks but also with the tight ends, so he appears set to handle his usual gadget role in the offense, assuming he's made active about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Brock Bowers TE | LV

Raiders' Brock Bowers: Slated to miss Week 5

Bowers (knee) isn't expected to be available for Sunday's game at Indianapolis, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Bowers has been tending to a left knee injury since Week 1, but he's been able to suit up on game days to this point, putting together a respectable 19-225-0 line on 27 targets in four contests. The Raiders held him out of drills Thursday and Friday with the intention to get the second-year pro some extra rest, as coach Pete Carroll told Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com. The team hasn't officially made a ruling on Bowers' status for Week 5, but if he ends up among Las Vegas' inactives about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, the team will be riding with Ian Thomas, Carter Runyon and Albert Okwuegbunam at tight end. as Michael Mayer is still in the concussion protocol.

  • Raiders' Albert Okwuegbunam: Elevated from practice squad

The Raiders elevated Okwuegbunam from their practice squad Saturday ahead of Sunday's matchup versus the Colts.

Okwuegbunam will provide extra depth at tight end, as Michael Mayer (concussion) isn't expected to play, and Brock Bowers (knee) is also dealing with an injury. This is the second straight week the team has elevated Okwuegbunam, although he didn't see the field during last week's loss versus the Bears.

  • Taysom Hill TE | NO

Saints' Taysom Hill: In line to return Sunday

Hill (knee), who remains on the reserve/PUP list, is expected to be active Sunday against the Giants, The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

The Saints are required to activate Hill from the PUP list by 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday in order for Hill to have a chance to suit up for the first time since tearing the ACL in his left knee Week 13 of last season. Once that occurs, he's listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game, meaning his status will receive clarity about 90 minutes before a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Nate Adkins TE | DEN

Broncos' Nate Adkins: Cleared to play against Philly

Adkins (concussion) does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Eagles.

Adkins entered the league's concussion protocol following the Broncos' Week 4 win over the Bengals. He increased his practice participation steadily over the week, and after a full session Friday, he's been given the green light to play in Sunday's road game, when he'll serve in a depth role at tight end behind Evan Engram and Adam Trautman.

  • Lucas Krull TE | DEN

Broncos' Lucas Krull: Won't play due to foot injury

Krull (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

The foot injury is a new one, as he appeared on Friday's practice report as a DNP. The injury is severe enough for him to be ruled out for Sunday's contest, though his absence won't make too much of an impact as he was a healthy scratch for the Broncos' Week 4 win against the Bengals. With Krull sidelined, Denver's tight end room will consist of Evan Engram, Adam Trautman and Nate Adkins.

  • Tucker Fisk TE | LAC

Chargers' Tucker Fisk: Questionable for Week 5

Fisk (toe) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

With Will Dissly (knee) looking like a decent bet to return for Week 5 after logging a full practice Friday, Fisk likely doesn't have much of a role on offense behind the aforementioned Dissly, Tyler Conklin and rookie Oronde Gadsden.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Good to go against Denver

Calcaterra (illness) was a full participant in Friday's practice and carries no injury designation into Sunday's game against the Broncos.

Calcaterra popped up on Thursday's injury report due to an illness, but the fourth-year tight end has been cleared to play in Week 5. With Dallas Goedert (knee) also given the green light to play Sunday, Calcaterra will slot in as the Eagles' TE2 while Kylen Granson and Cameron Latu provide additional depth at the position.
