  • Josiah Deguara TE | ARI

Cardinals' Josiah Deguara: Joins active roster

Deguara was elevated from the Cardinals' practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Deguara signed with Arizona's practice squad after failing to make the initial 53-man roster in late August, but he's now set to join the active roster ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Panthers. The Cincinnati product will provide the Cardinals with additional tight end depth due to Tip Reiman (foot) being sidelined in Week 2.

  • Quintin Morris TE | JAC

Jaguars' Quintin Morris: Elevated ahead of Sunday

Morris was elevated from Jacksonville's practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

The Bowling Green product remained with the Jaguars' practice squad after failing to make the initial 53-man roster in late August, and he's now set to play in the Week 2 matchup against the Bengals. Morris most recently appeared in 16 regular-season games for the Bills in 2024, catching five of his eight targets for 36 yards and one touchdown. He's likely to play as a depth option in Jacksonville's tight end corps Sunday.

  • Cameron Latu TE | PHI

Eagles' Cameron Latu: Elevated ahead of Sunday

Latu was elevated from the Eagles' practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

The 25-year-old failed to make the Eagles' initial 53-man roster at the end of August, but he remained with their practice squad and is now in line to make his NFL debut Sunday against the Chiefs. Latu's signing provides Philadelphia with extra depth at tight end in Week 2, with Dallas Goedert (knee) set to miss the Super Bowl IX rematch.

  • Brock Bowers TE | LV

Raiders' Brock Bowers: Officially questionable for Monday

Bowers (knee) was a limited participant in Saturday's practice and is listed as questionable for Monday's game versus the Chargers, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

According to Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee, head coach Pete Carroll said after practice that he expects Bowers to play Monday, but the questionable tag was expected after the second-year tight end missed the first two practices of the week before practicing in a limited fashion and with a knee brace Saturday. Per Paul Gutierrez of the Raiders' official site, Bowers said he "felt fine" during practice Saturday. All indications so far have been positive, although Carroll has often been optimistic with his injury assessments throughout his career. It's a tricky setup with the Raiders poised to kick off the last game of the week at 10:00 p.m. ET on Monday, so fantasy managers with Bowers would be wise to pick up Raiders' No. 2 tight end Michael Mayer as a contingency. Chargers tight ends Will Dissly and Tyler Conklin also are options if Mayer is already rostered.

  • Ravens' Zaire Mitchell-Paden: Back with active roster

Mitchell-Paden was elevated from the Ravens' practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Mitchell-Paden was also elevated for the Ravens' Week 1 loss to the Bills, playing 22 total snaps (15 offensive and seven on special teams) and failing to record a stat. Now back with Baltimore's active roster, he's expected to serve as a depth piece in the team's tight end corps due to Isaiah Likely (foot) being sidelined Sunday.

  • Brock Bowers TE | LV

Raiders' Brock Bowers: Expected to play Monday

Head coach Pete Carroll expects Bowers (knee) to play in Monday's game versus the Chargers, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.

Carroll added that Bowers "looked terrific" at Saturday's practice, which was his first practice of the week after being a non-participant Thursday and Friday. Bowers was exceptional in the season opener despite playing just 50 percent of the snaps, as he caught five of eight targets for 103 yards. The Raiders will reveal his official status at some point Saturday, but he's certainly trending in a positive direction.

  • Brock Bowers TE | LV

Raiders' Brock Bowers: Spotted at practice Saturday

Bowers (knee) is practicing with the team Saturday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

Bowers didn't practice Thursday or Friday, so his presence at Saturday's practice was critical to his chances of playing Monday versus the Chargers. The Raiders will reveal later in the afternoon whether Bowers practiced with limitations or if he'll carry a questionable tag into Monday's game. Fantasy managers may need to plan ahead at tight end if Bowers is tagged as questionable, because the Raiders have the final game of the week, which kicks off at 10:00 p.m. ET on Monday.

  • Lawrence Cager TE | WAS

Lawrence Cager: Back with practice squad

Cager signed with the Commanders' practice squad Saturday.

Cager was cut from the Commanders' practice squad Wednesday, but he has quickly made his way back to the team. The 28-year-old last played in 2023 with the Giants, when he caught four of five targets for 36 yards and a touchdown over 11 regular-season games.

  • Nate Adkins TE | DEN

Broncos' Nate Adkins: Ruled out for Week 2

Adkins (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against Indianapolis.

Adkins has been working his way back from a tightrope procedure that he underwent in July on an ankle sprain and missed Week 1 against Tennessee. The veteran tight end did manage a pair of limited practice sessions to end the current week, so he appears to be making progress despite being ruled out for Week 2. Denver's tight-end room Sunday will consist of Evan Engram, Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull.

  • Brock Bowers TE | LV

Raiders' Brock Bowers: Not practicing Friday

Bowers (knee) wasn't spotted at Friday's practice, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal and Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com report.

Bowers didn't practice Thursday, either, so what the star tight end is able to do Saturday (if anything) will be notable with regard to his chances of suiting up Monday night against the Chargers. Per Adam Hill of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Bowers said of his Week 2 status Thursday, "We'll see how it's feeling throughout the week, but I'm hoping to play." Unless Bowers ends up without an injury designation Saturday, however, cautious fantasy managers are advised to consider a contingency plan at TE this week, considering Monday's 10:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
