The Chiefs are missing two of their tight ends for Week 3 against the Eagles, as both Anthony Fasano (ankle) and Travis Kelce (knee) are both inactive for Thursday's game. The Chiefs have just one healthy tight end remaining on the roster. 

The Eagles revealed their inactives for Week 3 against the Chiefs Thursday, and they feature just one injured player, in offensive lineman Dennis Kelly (back). The other six players listed are: quarterback Matt Barkley, defensive backs Jordan Poyer and Roc Carmichael, offensive linemen Matt Tobin and Dennis Kelly (back), defensive lineman Damion Square and tight end Emil Igwenagu. 

Patriots tight end Zach Sudfeld was a full participant in practice Wednesday, as he recovers from a hamstring injury. Sudfeld was unable to play last week, but will hope to return in Week 3 against the Buccaneers Sunday. 

Jaguars tight end Marcedes Lewis was unable to practice Wednesday, as he continues to recover from a calf injury. Lewis is still hoping to play in Week 3 against the Seahawks.

Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew hasn't produced very much thus far this season with just five catches for 38 yards and no scores after two games. He might have better luck against the Redskins in Washington Week 3.

Pettigrew, who is one of four NFL tight ends with at least 200 catches since 2010, will be taking on a Redskins team allowing the ninth-most Fantasy points per game to opposing TEs this season. Brent Celek of the Eagles and Jermichael Finley of the Packers each scored against Washington the last two weeks.

While a touchdown is a possibility, Pettigrew hasn't done much this year and the Lions have other weapons that will look to take advantage of Washington's porous defense to this point. Consider Pettigrew just a low-end option for Sunday's game.

Chiefs tight end Anthony Fasano (ankle) did not practice Wednesday and was listed as doubtful for Thursday's game (Week 3) at Philadelphia. Backup tight end Travis Kelce (knee) was limited in practice and listed as questionable, so the Chiefs are down to Sean McGrath and Kevin Brock as the only healthy tight ends.

Colts coach Chuck Pagano announced Wednesday tight end Dwayne Allen is headed to injured reserve since he will need season-ending hip surgery. 

"Dwayne Allen is a tough, tough kid, but once got evaluated by the doctors and what needed to be done for the long term, this is right," Pagano said.

Chiefs tight end Anthony Fasano (ankle) did not practice Tuesday, while tight end Travis Kelce (knee) was limited. Kansas City visits the Eagles on Thursday.

Jaguars starting tight end Marcedes Lewis might play Sunday in Seattle if his calf responds well to his sprinting on Tuesday, according to ESPN.com. Lewis has missed the first two games and has not practiced since Sept. 5.

Backup tight end Clay Harbor caught three passes for 34 yards and a touchdown in Week 2 against Oakland.

Though Saints tight end Jimmy Graham hardly disappointed his Fantasy owners with 45 yards and a touchdown grab in Week 1, he showed the full extent of his potential in Week 2, catching 10 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown. So is that second performance more along the lines of what you can expect from him Week 3 against the Cardinals?

"[Week 2] was just one of those nights for me and Drew," Graham told the Saints' official website. "He was constantly looking for me and we're trying to exploit that matchup quite a bit, and it was just a night for me. You never know what it's going to be in this offense. Last game [against Atlanta] it was [receiver Marques] Colston, and you really just don't know."

True, but the Cardinals haven't exactly been shutting down tight ends this season. They were responsible for Rams tight end Jared Cook's 141-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 1, let's not forget. Their best coverage guy, Patrick Peterson, will more likely be tasked with covering Colston.

Graham is right to an extent. His week-to-week production will be somewhat unpredictable in a loaded Saints passing attack. But as the best of the bunch, his numbers will almost always be good. This week, they're likely to be great.
