Eagles trim final roster to 53 players
The Eagles announced their final cuts to trim the roster to 53 players Saturday.
The following players were all released Saturday: linebackers Emmanuel Acho and Josh Kaddu; defensive linemen Wade Keliikipi and Damion Square; defensive backs Curtis Marsh, Roc Carmichael, Keelan Johnson and Ed Reynolds; quarterback G.J. Kinne; running backs Kenjon Barner (waived/injured), Henry Josey and Matthew Tucker; wide receiver Ifeanyi Momah, Quron Pratt, Will Murphy and Damaris Johnson ; kicker Alex Henery; and offensive linemen Kevin Graf and Josh Andrews.
The team also added wide receiver Arrelious Benn (back) and linebacker Travis Long (knee) to injured reserve.

The Patriots have released several players, including former Packers linebacker Jerel Worthy.
Also out are running backs Jonas Gray and Roy Finch, defensive linemen Jake Bequette and L.T. Tuipulotu , wide receiver Jeremy Gallon, linebackers Taylor McCuller and Steve Beauharnais and tight end Steve Maneri.

Daniel Thomas gets pink slip from Dolphins
Accomplished running back Daniel Thomas has been let go by the Dolphins, per the Miami Sun-Sentinel. He did not play in the first three preseason games.
Thomas has lost playing time after a strong rookie season. He did, however, manage a career-high 3.7 YPC in 109 carries last year.

Report: Darryl Richardson shown the door by Jets
Running back Daryl Richardson, who lost playing time in the second half of the 2013 season due to a toe injury, has been cut by the Jets, per the New York Daily News.
Richardson averaged just 3.1 YPC last year before signing with the Jets in mid-May.

The Redskins have cut running backs Lache Seastrunk, Chris Thompson and Evan Royster, leaving the third spot behind Alfred Morris and Roy Helu to Silas Redd.
Royster is the most notable of the departures. But his reps have lessened in each of the last three seasons.

The Buccaneers are planning on placing rookie running back Charles Sims on IR/designated to return after undergoing ankle surgery, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.

Seahawks running back Christine Michael tweaked his hamstring in practice Tuesday and won't play in Thursday's preseason finale, reports 710 ESPN Radio. Coach Pete Carroll said Michael "pulled up a little bit" when he got hurt.
