Mathews (concussion) took part in Tuesday's practice, Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal reports.
It's not clear how much work Mathews got in Tuesday, but his presence at practice -- coupled with the fact he had his helmet -- is an indicator he has cleared the league's concussion protocol. The Eagles will release an official update on Mathews' status Wednesday or before, but he will have a chance to suit up this week for the first time since Week 10.
