Patriots running back Jonas Gray led the team in rushing in Week 15 against Miami.

Gray took five of his 11 carries on the final drive of the game to run out the clock and secure a 41-13 victory. He finished with 62 rushing yards, averaging 5.6 yards per attempt. LeGarrette Blount scored a touchdown on a 3-yard run in the third quarter. Blount carried the ball eight times for 17 yards and a score.

New England will face the Jets in Week 16.

Buccaneers running back Doug Martin rushed for a season-best 96 yards on 14 carries during a 19-17 loss Week 15 at Carolina. Most of Martin's yards came on a 63-yard run on the team's second play of the game.

Martin added one catch for 3 yards. His previous season best was 58 rushing yards in Week 13. The Bucs are back in action Week 16 vs. Green Bay.

Chiefs running back Knile Davis managed just 11 yards on nine carries but also scored a three-yard rushing touchdown and added a 70-yard receiving touchdown in his team's 31-13 win over the Raiders in Week 15.

Davis scored both of his touchdowns in the third quarter, first coming on in relief of Jamaal Charles in the team's only trip inside the Raiders' five-yard line and scoring on first down. He then caught a short pass on third-and-10 and found no defenders ahead of him, outracing the defense for a 70-yard score, which doubled as the longest play of his career. Davis and the Chiefs will square off with the Steelers in Week 16.

Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount salvaged his day with a trip to the end zone, but did little to impress otherwise in a 41-13 win over the Dolphins.  

The Patriots entered the game intent on relying on Blount, but he just couldn't get much going for the second week in a row. After rushing for just 66 yards on 20 carries last week, he was even less effective Sunday, finishing with 17 yards on eight carries.

Blount's subpar day even allowed the Patriots to dust off Jonas Gray , who received his most extensive work since his four-touchdown game four weeks ago. He led the team with 62 yards on 11 carries, and looked altogether like the better back of the two Sunday.

Blount looked very good in his first two games since joining the Patriots, averaging 6.2 yards on 22 carries. However, he has just 2.9 yards per carry on 28 since. Blount doesn't even have a monopoly on the goal-line work, as Shane Vereen scored from 3 yards out as well Sunday.

The Patriots have three backs who have shown they can be solid contributors whenever they get the chances. Of course, from a Fantasy perspective that might as well mean they don't have any running backs, because you can't know who is going to shine on any given day. The Patriots have a tough matchup on the way in Week 16 against the Jets, so you might be better off avoiding their backfield for that one. 

Raiders running back Latavius Murray failed to get anything going on the ground during a 31-13 loss to the Chiefs Sunday.

Murray was held to 59 rushing yards on 12 attempts. He was targeted six times in the passing game, but only hauled in two receptions for 16 yards.

The Raiders next play Sunday against Buffalo.

Colts running back Dan Herron led his team with 60 rushing yards on 11 carries while adding two receptions and 12 yards through the air in his team's 17-10 win over the Texans in Week 15.

Herron split the touches pretty evenly with Trent Richardson but was far more effective, managing 72 yards on 13 touches compared to 41 yards on 11 touches for the former first-round pick. Richardson averaged just 3.6 yards on the ground while racking up 32 yards on nine carries and added another nine yards on two receptions.

Herron figures to lead the RB committee again in Week 16 against the Cowboys.

Everyone was a minor contributor to the meager offensive display by the Browns on Sunday against the visiting Bengals. Among them were running backs Terrance West (5-23) and Isaiah Crowell (7-17), who added two catches for 10 yards.

No receiver aside from Josh Gordon caught more than two passes. Those who did snag at least one were Andrew Hawkins (2-7), Travis Benjamin (1-9), tight end Jordan Cameron (1-4) and Taylor Gabriel (1-2).

Vikings wideout Cordarrelle Patterson got the green light Week 15 against the Lions.

Patterson entered the contest listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury. He was not listed on the injury report on Wednesday or Thursday, but was limited in practice on Friday due to the issue. He'll attempt to play through it against Detroit.

The team will also have Jerome Felton, Everson Griffen, Jabari Price and Harrison Smith. All four players were listed as probable heading into the game. 

The Chargers declared the following players inactive for Week 15 against the Broncos: Ryan Mathews, Ladarius Green, Mike Scifres, Dontrelle Inman, Damion Square , Ryan Carrethers, Cordarro Law.

The Broncos ruled the following players inactive for Week 15 against San Diego: Wide receiver Cody Latimer, running back Ronnie Hillman, defensive back Kayvon Webster, offensive lineman Paul Cornick, offensive lineman Michael Schofield, tight end Jacob Tamme and defensive lineman Mitch Unrein.
