  • Dalvin Cook RB | DAL

Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Totals 199 yards

Cook rushed the ball 22 times for 181 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Titans. He also added two receptions for 18 yards.

Cook's highlight play came late in the first quarter, when he broke off a 39-yard run to find the end zone. However, that was far from his only production, as he recorded seven rushes of 10 yards or more and also added an additional reception for a double-digit gain. Though Cook briefly left the game hobbled late in the fourth quarter, he was able to retake the field and should be ready to roll in Week 4 against Houston.

  • Jeff Wilson RB | MIA

49ers' Jeff Wilson: Makes good on Week 3 opportunity

Wilson rushed 12 times for 15 yards and a touchdown and brought in all three targets for 54 yards and another score in the 49ers' 36-9 win over the Giants on Sunday.

Wilson was slated to complement Jerick McKinnon with both Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman sidelined by knee sprains, and although the third-year back found running room at a premium, he still pounded his way into the end zone from two yards out with 3:35 remaining. Earlier in the fourth quarter, the versatile Wilson also logged a 19-yard scoring grab, making it a rewarding day for fantasy managers who plucked him off the wire this past week or took a shot on him as a DFS punt play. It's worth noting Wilson may be much less of a long shot in a Week 4 Sunday night matchup against the Eagles, considering McKinnon emerged from Sunday's win with a rib injury, Coleman is on injured reserve for at least two more games and Mostert may not be ready to return.

  • Bills' Devin Singletary: Tops 100 scrimmage yards

Singletary rushed 13 times for 71 yards and caught four of five targets for 50 yards in Sunday's 35-32 win over the Rams.

Singletary carried the rushing load with Zack Moss (toe) out, as T.J. Yeldon (three carries for 18 yards) was the only other running back to touch the ball for the Bills. Singletary failed to get into the end zone on a direct snap from the one-yard line in the first quarter and ended up watching quarterback Josh Allen account for five touchdowns from inside the five-yard line, but Singletary's 121 scrimmage yards were eight shy of his combined total from Weeks 1 and 2. While his lack of usage in the red zone puts a cap on Singletary's value, he should be a reliable source of yardage against the Raiders in Week 4.

  • Football Team's Antonio Gibson: Leads Washington in rushing

Gibson carried the ball nine times for 49 yards and a touchdown in Week 3 against the Browns. He also added three catches for 11 yards.

Gibson found the end zone for the second consecutive game, converting a two-yard score to cap off a third-quarter drive. While that helped him to a productive day, he also broke off rushes of 13 and nine yards. The only downside to his performance was a lost fumble to end the first half, though the mistake did not have a major impact on the outcome of the game. While Gibson still saw only nine of the 22 carries out of Washington's backfield, it seems to be only a matter of time before he emerges as the top option for the team.

  • 49ers' Jerick McKinnon: Hurts ribs Sunday

McKinnon emerged from Sunday's 36-9 win against the Giants with a rib injury, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. Overall, McKinnon had 14 carries for 38 yards and one touchdown while reeling in three of four targets for 39 yards.

With Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman sidelined with sprained knees, McKinnon got the start at running back for the 49ers, but only one of his 17 touches occurred in the fourth quarter. It appears McKinnon hurt his ribs, which allowed Jeff Wilson to rack up 15 touches, 69 yards from scrimmage and two TDs by game's end. Even practice-squad call-up Jamycal Hasty (three touches for 18 yards) got in on the act. As a result, fantasy managers will need to monitor McKinnon's situation closely this week to get a bearing on his potential to play next Sunday versus the Eagles.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Raiders' Josh Jacobs: Pedestrian in Week 3 loss

Jacobs (hip) rushed 16 times for 71 yards and caught three of four targets for 12 yards while losing a fumble in Sunday's 36-20 loss to the Patriots.

New England excels at shutting down opposing top players, and that defensive approach coupled with Jacobs playing through a hip injury resulted in a mediocre performance from the young running back. Things don't get much easier with the undefeated Bills coming to town in Week 4, though Buffalo did allow over 100 rushing yards to Rams running back Darrell Henderson on Sunday.

  • James Conner RB | ARI

Steelers' James Conner: Racks up 149 scrimmage yards

Conner carried 18 times for 109 yards and a touchdown while catching four of five targets for 40 additional yards during Sunday's 28-21 win over the Texans.

Conner had a rather pedestrian start to the game and watched as Anthony McFarland and Benny Snell took away 14 touches. It appears that was in an effort to keep Conner fresh, as he helped Pittsburgh control the game in the second half and scored the decisive touchdown on a 12-yard run in the fourth quarter. He now piled up 270 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns over his last two games and will look to keep up his excellent production next Sunday against the Titans.

  • Buccaneers' Kenjon Barner: Active in Week 3

Barner is active for Sunday's Week 3 tilt against the Broncos after being elevated from the practice squad Saturday, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

How much action that actually translates to is still very much in the air, however, considering the top running back trio of Ronald Jones, Leonard Fournette and LeSean McCoy all are healthy. Instead, it's possible Barner is utilized in either or both returner roles, considering his extensive experience in that area over his previous seven NFL seasons.

  • Buccaneers' Ke'Shawn Vaughn: Healthy scratch Week 3

Vaughn (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 3 tilt against the Broncos, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official website reports.

Vaughn had been in uniform but idle over the first two games, and with Kenjon Barner getting promoted from the practice squad Saturday, the rookie will now don street clothes for the first time in his short career. Vaughn's chances of seeing his first NFL action seem remote for the time being with Buccaneers' robust running back group at full health.

  • Mike Boone RB | MIA

Vikings' Mike Boone: Ready to go against Titans

Boone (concussion) is listed as active heading into Sunday's matchup against the Titans.

The 25-year-old back suffered a concussion during the second quarter of Minnesota's Week 2 loss to Indianapolis, and he subsequently sat out Wednesday's practice session. Boone was upgraded to limited Thursday, and he has since passed the league's concussion protocol given his status for Sunday. Without a carry to this point on the season, Boone will slot into a depth role at running back during Week 3.
