McNichols rushed once for no yards during Sunday's 38-14 loss to the Seahawks.

Coming off his best game of the season in the Week 8 loss to the Chiefs, McNichols tallied his lowest yardage total of the year in Week 9. The veteran running back was also held without a catch Sunday for the first time since the Commanders' Week 3 win over the Raiders. Over nine appearances this season, McNichols has tallied 272 yards and one touchdown on 29 touches. He's expected to remain the Commanders' top reserve RB in the Week 10 matchup against the Lions.

Gainwell rushed three times for minus-1 yard while securing four of five targets for 35 yards during Sunday's 27-20 win over the Colts.

Gainwell had logged double-digit rushing yards in each of his first seven appearances this year, and while he didn't have much success on the ground Week 9, he matched his season-best mark in receiving yards in the victory. He also was on the field for 37 percent of the Steelers' offensive snaps, signaling that he remains the team's clear No. 2 back behind Jaylen Warren and ahead of Kaleb Johnson. Gainwell hasn't showcased much fantasy upside as the No. 2 option in the backfield over the first half of the year, but he's at least seen consistent playing time.

Johnson rushed twice for eight yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 28-21 win over the Chiefs. He also caught both of his targets for 12 yards.

The Maryland product played 13 offensive snaps to Ray Davis' three during Sunday's win, so it appears that he's moved into the team's No. 2 running back role. Johnson was impactful during Week 9, putting the Bills up by two scores late in the second quarter with a three-yard touchdown run. He's expected to continue operating as Buffalo's top reserve RB in the Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins.

Davis played three of the Bills' 64 offensive snaps and tallied 105 kick-return yards in Sunday's 28-21 win over the Chiefs.

After playing just three offensive snaps during the Week 9 win, Davis appears firmly behind both James Cook and Ty Johnson in Buffalo's backfield. The Kentucky product handed kick-return duties for the first time this season during Sunday's win, logging 105 yards on four returns. Expect Davis to play a minor offensive role while contributing on special teams in the Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins.

Allen had one carry for 10 yards and caught his only target for one yard during Sunday's 30-29 win against the Raiders.

The 21-year-old played a season-high 22 offensive snaps but was significantly less involved than fellow rookie tailback Bhayshul Tuten, who had 10 touches on 20 snaps. Allen has played double-digit offensive snaps in seven of eight games this year but has just five carries for 32 yards and six receptions for 35 yards. He appears locked in as the Jaguars' No. 3 running back behind Tuten and starter Travis Etienne.

Patterson carried nine times for 44 yards in Sunday's 27-20 win over the Titans.

Kimani Vidal (12 carries for 30 yards, no receptions on one target) drew the start and led the backfield with a 72 percent snap share, but Patterson outproduced him on the ground, despite playing just 18 of the Chargers' 65 offensive snaps (28 percent). The Chargers are still likely to prioritize Vidal as their top passing-down back, but the delineation of the workload on the ground between the two players could become more even moving forward in light of Patterson's strong showing in Week 9. Patterson will revert to the Chargers' practice squad Monday, but he's a strong bet to be elevated or signed to the 53-man roster in advance of next Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Tuten carried nine times for 29 yards and a touchdown while catching his lone target for minus-three yards during Sunday's 30-29 win against the Raiders. He also returned two kickoffs for 55 yards.

The rookie fourth-round pick tied his season high with 10 offensive touches and scored the third touchdown of his NFL career with a one-yard run in the fourth quarter, though starting running back Travis Etienne still dominated the backfield work with a season-high 27 touches. Fellow rookie tailback LeQuint Allen actually played 22 offensive snaps compared to Tuten's 20 but received just two touches. Tuten should continue to operate as Jacksonville's No. 2 running back but doesn't offer much fantasy upside with Etienne still receiving the lion's share of the opportunities.

Etienne played just two of the Panthers' 54 offensive snaps and logged 70 kick-return yards in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Packers.

Etienne was not a part of the Panthers' offensive game plan in Week 9 and played behind Rico Dowdle and Chuba Hubbard, tying his fewest offensive snaps in a game this season. However, the rookie running back still contributed on special teams, returning three kicks for 70 yards. Through his first nine NFL games, Etienne has logged 21 touches for 101 yards and 464 total return yards across 117 total snaps (68 on special teams, 49 on offense). He's likely to play another depth role in Carolina's backfield in the Week 10 matchup against the Saints.

Holani rushed three times for nine yards in Sunday's 38-14 win over the Commanders. He also returned two kicks for 29 yards.

Holani carried the ball for the first time since Week 3, as the Seahawks got out to a convincing lead early. Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet will continue to handle a bulk of the workload as long as they're healthy, while Holani should mostly stick to special teams in typical game scripts.

Brooks had two carries for zero yards in Sunday's 18-15 loss to the Broncos in Week 9.

Brooks was surprisingly allotted two consecutive carries at the goal-line in the first quarter and was stuffed by Denver's interior line on both. Those were two of the five running plays called inside the Broncos' two-yard line during the game that failed to get into the end zone, and Houston failed to produce a touchdown in three red-zone possessions. Brooks has four total carries for 15 yards this season and is a regular on special teams.
