  • Bills' Devin Singletary: Week 10 workload in flux

Singletary's teammate Zack Moss (concussion) returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday.

Singletary has been a hot pickup all week due to the possibility that he could have the Buffalo backfield mostly to himself in Week 10 should Moss not get through all the protocols. The latter's status took an uptick with the limited session, however, as Moss still has time to clear the rest of the concussion protocols in time for Sunday's game. Singletary would be a good yardage play should Moss have to miss a game, though the former has not proven to be much of an option this season when sharing the backfield. Singletary does lead the Bills in rushing yards, but it's a modest total of 355 and he has just one trip to the end zone (one rushing, zero receiving) all season.

  • 49ers' JaMycal Hasty: Tending to ankle issue

Hasty didn't practice Thursday due to an ankle injury.

In his five appearances this season, Hasty hasn't been more than a change-of-pace option out of the 49ers backfield, averaging 3.7 yards on his 13 carries, gathering in 13 of 18 targets for 91 yards and scoring one TD on the ground. Now with a health concern in tow, he could be in danger of losing the backup gig behind Elijah Mitchell to Jeff Wilson, who was activated from the PUP list Saturday. Wilson was active but didn't see any action this past Sunday against the Cardinals, which could change if Hasty's injury lingers. In any case, Hasty will have two more sessions to put himself into a position to be available Monday versus the Rams.

  • Ravens' Latavius Murray: Inactive Thursday night

Murray (ankle) is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Dolphins.

With Murray set to miss his third straight game, look for Devonta Freeman to head a Baltimore running back committee Week 10 that also will include Le'Veon Bell and Ty'Son Williams. It's an arrangement that led to Freeman starting and logging 57 of a possible 98 snaps, while carrying 13 times for 79 yards and catching two passes for four yards and a TD in this past Sunday's 34-31 overtime win over the Vikings. In the same contest, Bell (23 snaps) carried 11 times for 48 yards and a TD, and Williams didn't record a touch while playing 18 snaps.

  • Corey Clement RB | ARI

Cowboys' Corey Clement: Absent from practice

Clement (illness) didn't participate in Thursday's practice session, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Clement was held out of practice for a second straight day as he continues to deal with an illness. If he hopes to suit up Sunday against Atlanta, he'll likely need to practice in some form Friday.

  • Lions' Jamaal Williams: Another absence Thursday

    Williams (thigh) missed Thursday's practice.

Williams didn't suit up Week 8 due to a thigh issue, and even with the benefit of a bye he hasn't mixed into drills with just one session remaining during Week 10 prep. On a semi-positive note, he was seen running on a side field Wednesday, so the Lions may be exercising caution with the fifth-year pro. Friday's practice and ensuing injury report could be telling for Williams' ability to suit up Sunday in Pittsburgh. Behind top running back D'Andre Swift, the Lions have rookie Jermar Jefferson and Godwin Igwebuike at the position.

  • Jaguars' James Robinson: Limited at practice

Robinson (heel) returned to a limited practice Thursday.

After sitting out practice Wednesday, Robinson, who is dealing with a bruised right heel, was able to log a limited session Thursday, which bodes well for his availability this weekend against the Colts. A previous report from Michael DiRocco of ESPN relayed that coach Urban Meyer expressed optimism about the running back's Week 10 status, though Friday's final injury report of the week will ultimately reveal whether Robinson approaches Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff with an official injury designation.

  • Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Reps capped Thursday

Elliott (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

Though Elliott's reps were capped for the second day in a row while he tends to a bruised right knee, the Cowboys haven't suggested that his availability for Sunday's game against the Falcons is in any question. Even so, Elliott may need to upgrade to full participation Friday to avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Idle for another practice

Kamara (knee) didn't participate in Thursday's practice.

With consecutive absences from practice to begin Week 10 prep while he manages a sprained knee, Kamara's status will bear watching heading into the Saints' final workout of the week Friday. Though Kamara's knee injury has been characterized as mild, the Saints may want to see him take part in practice on at least a limited basis to feel good about his chances of playing Sunday against the Titans. Mark Ingram would likely step into a lead role for the Saints in the event Kamara is sidelined for his first game of the season.

  • 49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Still tending to rib injury

Mitchell (ribs) will be a limited participant at Thursday's practice, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Last week, Mitchell logged two limited sessions in three chances as a result of a rib injury, so he seemingly is in better health this time around. He proceeded to earn his typical snap share (66 percent) en route to 13 touches for 79 yards from scrimmage this past Sunday against the Cardinals. Reserve running back JaMycal Hasty handled the remaining 34 percent, turning four touches into 13 total yards, but he isn't slated to practice Thursday due to an ankle issue. The situation could open the door for Jeff Wilson to make his season debut, but as long as Mitchell is available he's the No. 1 running back in San Francisco.

  • Zack Moss RB | CIN

Bills' Zack Moss: Limited at practice Thursday

Moss (concussion) was listed as a limited practice participant Thursday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Per Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic, Moss is still in the NFL's concussion protocol and practiced in a non-contact jersey Thursday. That's a step in the right direction for the running back, but there are still hurdles for him to clear in order to be available for Sunday's game against the Jets. Friday's final injury report will reveal whether or not Moss heads into the weekend with an official Week 10 injury designation.
