Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Stafford suffered a hip contusion during Sunday's overtime win at Indianapolis, but the quarterback is expected to play this coming Sunday against the Eagles, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

Stafford wasn't 100 percent for a portion of Sunday's game, and he revealed afterward that a hip injury was the culprit, per Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com. At the same time, Stafford said he'll "be out there" Week 5, which was backed up by McVay one day later. In the end, Stafford likely will operate with some restrictions once the Rams reconvene for practice Wednesday, and it also seems possible he'll enter this coming weekend with a designation.

Coach Zac Taylor confirmed Monday that the Bengals have no intention of sitting Burrow, as the QB continues to deal with a lingering calf strain, Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

When asked specifically if Burrow is going to start against the Cardinals on Sunday, Taylor replied in the affirmative, noting that he believes the Bengals offense can operate at a high enough level, even given the signal-caller's current condition. Burrow practiced fully last week and approached the team's Week 4 loss to the Titans without an injury designation, so unless he suffers a setback at practice this week, Burrow will be out there again this weekend, though it's possible key wideout Tee Higgins (rib) could be limited or out versus Arizona.

Pickett suffered a bone bruise in his knee during Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Texans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The report notes that Pickett's injury could lead to a short-term absence but adds that the door is open for the quarterback -- who also is dealing with a muscle strain -- to play this weekend against the Ravens. That said, with the Steelers on bye Week 6, the team could elect to err on the side of caution and hold Pickett out versus Baltimore. If that comes to fruition, Mitch Trubisky would start in his place Week 5.

Sinnett was cut from the Bengals' practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Sinnett spent camp with the Bengals, but he was unable to make the team's final 53-man roster. He ultimately got a second chance in Cincinnati and was brought back as a member of the practice squad Sept. 22, when Joe Burrow was dealing with a calf injury. However, with Burrow now healthy, the Bengals are opting to not keep the No. 3 quarterback on their practice squad at this time.

Head coach Josh McDaniels said Monday that Garoppolo is still in the concussion protocol and will be the starting quarterback when he's cleared, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Garoppolo missed the Raiders' Week 4 loss to the Chargers, sending rookie Aidan O'Connell into action. O'Connell had mixed results in his first career start, so it's not surprising to see Garoppolo get a vote of confidence from his coach. The veteran quarterback will have until Thursday to clear protocols before Las Vegas has to post its first injury report of Week 5 prep, as the Raiders will face the Packers on Monday Night Football this week.

Head coach Arthur Smith said Monday that Ridder is still Atlanta's starting quarterback, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

Ridder has made just eight starts as a professional, but Sunday's 23-7 loss was by far his worst performance. He committed a career-high three turnovers, including a pick-six late in the second quarter that put Atlanta in a hole it couldn't climb out of. Smith has been adamant about playing smart football, which Ridder didn't do versus Jacksonville, but it appears the 2022 third-round pick will get an opportunity to work through his mistakes. However, Taylor Heinicke is the highest-paid backup quarterback in the NFL, so if Ridder continues to struggle, don't be surprised if Smith gives the veteran a chance at some point.

Jones will remain the Patriots' starting quarterback despite being benched in the team's Week 4 blowout loss to Dallas, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.

New England suffered its largest loss in the Bill Belichick era, but it appears the team isn't going to overreact to the poor performance. Jones was solid as a rookie in 2021, completing 68 percent of his passes for 3,801 yards, 22 touchdowns and 13 interceptions, but it's been mixed results since then. Patriots backup quarterback Bailey Zappe showed flashes in limited action last year, but Rapoport notes it's clear the team feels Jones is still the best option moving forward.

Herbert suffered a fractured middle finger on his non-throwing hand in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Raiders but isn't expected to miss any time, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The fourth-year quarterback's left hand got caught on the helmet of a Raiders defender when he threw an interception late in the third quarter. Herbert returned for the Chargers' next possession and ended up playing all 63 offensive snaps in the contest, finishing with 167 passing yards and 27 rushing yards while accounting for three total touchdowns. With a well-timed bye on tap Week 5, Herbert will have plenty of time to recover before the Chargers return to action Oct. 16 versus the Cowboys.

Rush completed both of his pass attempts for 20 yards in Sunday's 38-3 rout of the Patriots.

He also lost two yards on three official carries, as he kneeled down on the Cowboys' final series. It's already the second time this season Rush has gotten some garbage-time snaps, as he also handled the final possession of a 40-0 blowout of the Giants in Week 1. Barring an injury to Dak Prescott, however, the 29-year-old backup QB won't see enough action to have fantasy value.

Pickett, who is scheduled to undergo an MRI on his left knee Monday, is not believed to have suffered a season-ending injury in Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Texans, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The Steelers won't know the full extent of his injury until they get the results of the MRI, but the second-year quarterback appears to have avoided damage to his ACL. However, Rapoport adds that Pickett is still expected to miss some time, and the Steelers have some concern about the integrity of his MCL and meniscus. After Pickett went down with the injury late in the third quarter, Mitch Trubisky took over the offense and completed three of five pass attempts for 18 yards. Even if Pickett avoids a worst-case scenario with his knee, Trubisky looks like the frontrunner to start Sunday's game against the Ravens, with Mason Rudolph then slotting in as the No. 2 quarterback.
