Lance (coach's decision) is again listed as inactive for Monday's game against the Chargers, but he is also designated as the Cowboys' emergency quarterback, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Lance will continue doing what he has for every other contest this season and serve as Dallas' emergency option under center should both Dak Prescott and Cooper Rush get forced out due to injury. He has not been called upon yet this season.

Coach Mike Vrabel said Monday that Tannehill's ankle injury is similar to the one he suffered in 2022, Joe Rexrode of The Athletic reports.

Tannehill missed the final three games last season. He was on crutches following Sunday's loss to the Ravens in London, but the Titans now have a Week 7 bye. Vrabel confirmed Tannehill will remain the team's starter when healthy. If Tannehill can't play in two weeks versus Atlanta, either Malik Willis or rookie Will Levis will make the start.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Monday that Allen (shoulder) is considered day-to-day, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

Allen missed a couple snaps in Sunday night's Week 6 win over the Giants to be checked for a head injury but quickly returned after being cleared and finished 19-for-30 passing for a season-low 169 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Apparently the shoulder is the bigger concern (though perhaps only a minor one)following the game. He rushed just two times for 11 yards. Allen is expected to be out there Sunday against the Patriots.

Jones noted following Sunday's loss to Buffalo that his injured neck feels "a lot better" and that he is trying to be ready to play Week 7 versus Washington, Darryl Slater of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Jones injured his neck in the fourth quarter of a Week 5 loss to Miami and wasn't able to practice at all last week. The quarterback told Slater that he's "doing everything [he] can" to be ready for Sunday's game, though it bears mentioning that both Jones and head coach Brian Daboll expressed optimism early last week that he'd be able to take the field versus Buffalo this past Sunday, which didn't come particularly close to happening. The level of Jones' participation in practice this week should provide insight into his chances of playing Week 7. If Jones is forced to miss that contest, Tyrod Taylor again would step in as the starting signal-caller for a Giants team desperately in need of a win.

Carr (shoulder/chest) was estimated as limited on Monday's practice report, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

The Saints didn't actually practice Monday after losing to the Texans on Sunday, but they were required to post an injury report ahead of Thursday night's date with the Jaguars. Carr has been playing through his shoulder issue but has been ineffective through his first six games for New Orleans, averaging 6.5 yards per attempt and 216.5 yards per game with five touchdowns and three interceptions.

Lawrence (knee) is listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated practice report, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

Jacksonville held a walkthrough practice Monday, so Lawrence's 'DNP' listing is an estimation. Still, after coach Doug Pederson called the quarterback "day-to-day," per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, that estimation appears accurate. Jacksonville has expressed optimism that the starting quarterback isn't dealing with a long-term injury, but with a short turnaround before Thursday's road matchup against the Saints, it's possible backup C.J. Beathard ends up drawing a start. Lawrence will have two more chances to log some amount of practice activity before potentially being tagged with an injury designation for Week 7.

Rodgers (Achilles) threw on the field for approximately five minutes prior to the Jets' 20-14 win over the Eagles on Sunday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Though Rodgers was in a stationary position while throwing, he was notably stepping into each pass while putting weight on his surgically repaired left Achilles' tendon. While Achilles injuries often entail a 6-to-9-month recovery, the 39-year-old has remained adamant since having his surgery Sept. 13 that he'll beat the typical timeline and make it back on the field at some point during the 2023 season. Since he's already moving about without crutches, Rodgers may be further along in his rehab process than most players one month removed from surgery, but he still has several more critical checkpoints to hit in his recovery before the team seriously entertains activating him from injured reserve. In all likelihood, the Jets would have to qualify for the playoffs and make a deep postseason run for Rodgers to become a realistic option to play.

Coach Todd Bowles said Mayfield was diagnosed with a left (non-throwing) hand contusion following Sunday's loss to the Lions, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

X-rays were negative on Mayfield's hand. He appeared to injure it on the final drive, when his hand was pinned between his chest and the helmet of a Lions defender following a throw. Mayfield might miss some practice reps this week but should otherwise be fine for Week 7 against the Falcons on Sunday.

Coach Matt Eberflus confirmed Monday that Fields suffered a dislocated right thumb in Sunday's loss to the Vikings and is "doubtful" for Week 7 against the Raiders, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.

Eberflus noted that it's all going to come down to "grip strength" when discussing Fields' timetable. Undrafted rookie Tyson Bagent won the Bears' QB2 job after a surprising preseason and came in in relief of Fields on Sunday. Bagent lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown on his very first snap and finished 10-for-14 passing for 83 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. Chicago also could opt to start veteran Nathan Peterman versus Las Vegas.

Garoppolo will undergo more tests Monday to determine the severity of the back injury he suffered in Sunday's 21-17 win over the Patriots, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Garoppolo was injured midway through the Week 6 win and was taken to a Las Vegas-area hospital for evaluation. According to Schefter, the Raiders are of the belief that it's too soon to speculate about his availability for the team's Week 7 game against the Bears. Brian Hoyer was active as the No. 2 quarterback against New England and came in to replace Garoppolo, but it was rookie Aidan O'Connell who drew the start in Las Vegas' Week 4 loss to the Chargers when Garoppolo was out with a concussion. As a result, it's unclear which of the two signal-callers might be first in line to fill in for Garoppolo should he sit out Sunday.
