Gano (knee) did not take part in Friday's practice, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

Gano appeared on track to play this week after practicing fully two days in a row, but his absence Friday puts his Week 8 status back in question. The Panthers will release an official update on Gano's status at some point Friday, but if for any reason he is unable to go Sunday, Roberto Aguayo would be in line to handle the kicking duties against the Buccaneers squad he used to play for.

Gano (knee) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.

Gano was added to the Panthers' injury report last Friday, but he ended up playing and converted his lone field-goal attempt in a 17-3 loss to the Bears in Week 7. While Carolina's decision to add kicker Roberto Aguayo to the practice squad Wednesday might hint at some concern, Gano's ability to log a full practice puts him on track to play Sunday in Tampa Bay.

The Lions signed Prater to a three-year, $11.4 million contract extension Wednesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Prater's new deal will keep him in the Detroit through the 2020 season and is worth up to $12.15 million in incentives. The Lions will now have both of their specialists in the fold for the next few seasons after the team previously signed punter Sam Martin to a four-year contract extension last September. Since joining the Lions in 2014, Prater has been one of the top kickers in the league, converting 84 of 98 (85.7 percent) field-goal attempts, including an impressive 19-for-24 (79.1 percent) mark from 50-plus yards. The 33-year-old is enjoying another banner campaign so far in 2017, knocking down all 15 of his extra-point tries while drilling 10 of 12 field goals, with his only misses coming from 56 and 59 yards.

Walsh converted a 39-yard field goal and three extra points in Seattle's win at the Giants on Sunday.

Walsh hasn't had many scoring opportunities this season. He ranks 21st in field-goal attempts with 11 and 15th with 13 extra-point attempts. The Seahawks' offense has been moderately improved in recent weeks, so perhaps Walsh will get more opportunities soon.

Elliott made two of three field-goal attempts in Monday's 34-24 win over the Redskins and also added four extra points.

The Eagles had the game well in hand when his 45-yard attempt clanged off the right upright in the fourth quarter, ending his streak of consecutive attempts made at 12. Prior to the miss, he had been successful from 42 and 50 yards. The rookie continues to provide solid fantasy numbers from the kicker position as the Eagles head into a Week 8 matchup with the 49ers.

Tucker connected on all three of his field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point attempt in Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Vikings.

The All-Pro kicker is officially back after some uncharacteristic misses early in the season. He drilled field goals of 48, 57 and 47 yards against the Vikings and has made all nine of his field-goal attempts over the last three weeks. Baltimore's offense struggles to get into plus-territory, which can occasionally cut down on Tucker's chances; however, he's capable of providing points anytime the Ravens get inside the opponent's 40-yard line. He'll return home this week to face off against the Dolphins on Thursday Night Football.

Zuerlein connected on all four field-goal attempts and converted two extra-point kicks during Sunday's 33-0 win over Arizona.

Zuerein has now converted 21 of 22 field-goal attempts and every extra-point opportunity heading into Los Angeles' Week 8 bye. The Rams' offense is showing no signs of slowing down, so Zuerlein projects to remain a strong fantasy asset in all settings following this week's layoff.

Boswell converted all five field-goal attempts (22, 24, 25, 41 and 49 yards) and both of his extra- point attempts in Pittsburgh's 29-14 win over Cincinnati on Sunday.

His five field goals are a Heinz Field record, and he has now kicked 11 field goals in his last two games against the Bengals. Take note of that heading into Week 13, when Pittsburgh faces Cincinnati in a Monday night contest. In the meantime, Boswell will face Detroit in Week 8, against whom opposing kickers have scored an average of 6.8 points per game this season.

Gano is dealing with a knee injury in the aftermath of Sunday's 17-3 loss at Chicago, Joe Person of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Although Gano didn't miss any practice reps last week, he was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report. The ailment didn't stop him from suiting up Sunday and striking true on his only kick, a 36-yard field goal. However, he was icing his knee after the game, which will spur the Panthers to work out kickers Tuesday, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Gano isn't in danger of missing time yet, but his status bears watching as he ranks sixth in scoring with 59 points this season.

Lutz made both his field-goal attempts and went 2-for-3 in extra-point tries in Sunday's 26-17 win against the Packers.

Lutz converted on field goals of 28 and 44 yards, but his third-quarter extra-point attempt was blocked. Lutz had some problems with kicks getting blocked early last season, but he seemingly remedied the issue as the year progressed. Unless the problem rears its ugly head in future games, owners probably shouldn't worry too much about it, especially with the Saints offense clicking over the last few weeks.
