Emerson left Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader with Triple-A Tacoma after the first inning with an apparent injury.

Seattle prospect reporter Mariners Minors said that Emerson fouled a pitch off his foot in the bottom of the first. Emerson stayed in the game initially but was replaced on defense the next half inning. The Mariners have already suggested J.P. Crawford will remain the starting shortstop for the big club even after signing Emerson to an eight-year, $95 million extension earlier this week, and this injury could further delay plans for a call-up.

Frelick left the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Royals with left side tightness.

Frelick singled in the top of the fourth inning but then left the game after a visit from the training staff. The Brewers have since clarified that it's a left side issue, though the severity of the injury remains unknown. Brandon Lockridge replaced Frelick in the game and could see more at-bats if Frelick is forced to miss additional time.

Condon has been out of the lineup for Triple-A Albuquerque the past three games, but he had a cyst removed and is expected back in the next couple days, Christian Saez of TheDNVR.com reports.

The report does not specify where exactly the cyst was located, but regardless it sounds like Condon will be back in action in short order. Arguably the Rockies' top prospect, the 22-year-old Condon already has a two-homer game this season and has hit safely in four of five contests with Albuquerque.

Donovan (groin) said Saturday that he was feeling good and that his imaging came back clean, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Donovan landed awkwardly on the first-base bag Friday while attempting to leg out an infield single, which led to his departure from the contest. He underwent imaging but suggested it was mostly precautionary after he underwent sports hernia surgery at the end of last season. While Donovan was held out of the lineup Saturday, he went through agility work pregame and doesn't currently appear in danger of missing extended time.

Frelick left the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Royals after hitting a single and then getting visited by team trainers at first base, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Frelick appeared to be grimacing while running out his hit and was removed from the game. He struck out in his prior plate appearance of Game 2 and went 1-for-3 with a walk during the matinee. Brandon Lockridge replaced Frelick in the outfield and would likely have an increased role should an IL stint be necessary.

Anthony went 2-for-4 with a triple in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Padres.

After being stuck in a 1-for-17 slump earlier this week, Anthony is 4-for-9 with a solo home run, triple and one run scored over his last three appearances. Boston's offense as a whole continues to struggle, as the Red Sox have scored two runs or fewer in four of their last six games. Through eight games, Anthony is slashing .267/.333/.433 across 33 plate appearances.

Chapman (0-1) took the loss Saturday against the Padres, allowing one run on two hits with one strikeout across one inning.

With the game tied 2-2 headed into the ninth inning, manager Alex Cora brought on Chapman, but the closer allowed a double to Fernando Tatis followed by an RBI single from Ramon Laureano to give San Diego the 3-2 lead. It's the first run of the year allowed by Chapman, who now owns a 2.25 ERA and 3:1 K:BB across four innings this season. He's 2-for-2 in save chances.

Early did not factor into the decision Saturday against the Padres, allowing two runs on three hits and four walks with four strikeouts across four innings.

Early labored through four innings, needing 88 pitches to do so, and struggled with his command. San Diego's sputtering offense was unable to do much with the baserunners, however, pushing across just two runs against Early. Through two starts, the left-hander owns a 2.89 ERA and 10:6 K:BB across 9.1 innings, and he's also thrown a pair of wild pitches. Early's next start will likely come next weekend in St. Louis.

Andujar went 3-for-5 with a double and run scored in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Red Sox.

Andujar got the start at designated hitter and hit third against lefty Connelly Early and was the only Padres player to record multiple hits Saturday. He doubled in the third inning and later scored on a Freddy Fermin double. Andujar is now slashing .300/.333/.450 with three extra-base hits, two RBI and two runs scored across 21 trips to the plate this season. With left-hander Ranger Suarez starting for the Red Sox on Sunday, Andujar should be in the lineup.

Donovan (groin) underwent imaging Saturday and remains day-to-day for the time being, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Seattle's medical staff will go over the results of the imaging, at which point the team will have a better idea of the situation. Per Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com, manager Dan Wilson said Donovan was moving around well Saturday after the groin injury forced the second baseman from Friday's game. Donovan was off to a great start to begin his Mariners career, going 10-for-27 with two homers and a stolen base in eight games.
