Harris (forearm) struck out a batter and allowed two runs on three hits and one walk Friday for Triple-A Worcester after being reinstated from the 60-day injured list.

Harris got off to a delayed start to the 2026 campaign after being placed on Worcester's 60-day IL in March due to forearm tightness. He's since put the injury behind him, as he was cleared to debut for Worcester coming out of the All-Star break after making three rehab appearances in the rookie-level Florida Complex League.

Mederos secured his first career save Monday against San Diego, allowing one hit and one walk in 2.1 scoreless innings. He struck out one.

Closer Raisel Iglesias had worked each of the past two days for Atlanta, so manager Walt Weiss stuck with Mederos to protect a 3-2 lead and gave his usual high-leverage arms the night off. The 25-year-old right-hander has almost exclusively handled low-leverage work in 2026 and shouldn't be expected to see save chances in the future, though he does hold an excellent 0.96 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 7:2 K:BB over 9.1 innings.

Elder (6-6) earned the win Monday against San Diego, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk in six-plus innings. He struck out four.

Elder came out for the seventh inning Monday, but he served up a solo home run to Ty France and was promptly pulled from the outing. It was the right-hander's first quality start since June 7 versus Pittsburgh, but he hasn't given up fewer than multiple runs since May 22 against Washington. Elder is set to finish a two-start week over the weekend in Baltimore, where he'll carry a middling 4.06 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 90:33 K:BB over 108.2 innings.

Cruz earned the save in Monday's 8-5 win over the Pirates, striking out three batters across 1.1 scoreless frames.

David Bednar tossed 32 pitches during the second game of Sunday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, so he wasn't available for Monday's contest. Cruz was brought out in the eighth inning and proceeded to strike out three of the four batters he faced en route to his second save of the season, matching a career high he set last year. Cruz has a 2.32 ERA. 1.24 WHIP and 55:24 K:BB across 42.2 innings.

Montgomery left Monday's game against the Rangers due to a right shin contusion, LaMond Pope of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Montgomery suffered the injury in the top of the seventh inning and was forced to exit the game after finishing his at-bat. It appears as though he's managed to avoid a significant injury, and he'll presumably be re-evaluated Tuesday morning to determine his availability for the second game of the series.

Weathers did not factor into Monday's decision against the Pirates, allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five across 4.2 innings.

The Yankees handed Weathers an early 4-0 lead, but the veteran southpaw gave that lead to the Pirates after yielding five runs across the second and third frames. It was the sixth time this season that he gave up at least five earned runs, though he also generated 20 whiffs and 17 first-pitch strikes on 99 pitches. Weathers will take a 4.40 ERA and 1.27 WHIP over 102.1 innings into his next start, which is slated for this weekend on the road against the Phillies.

Schwellenbach (elbow) has been cleared to throw bullpen sessions, MLB.com reports.

It's not yet clear as to when Schwellenbach might embark on a rehab assignment, but he appears to be trending in the right direction. He'll likely be asked to complete several more bullpen sessions without issue before the club feels comfortable putting him up against live hitters.

Sears (2-3) took the loss Monday against Atlanta, allowing two runs (one earned) on three hits and no walks in five innings. He struck out three.

Sears was cruising along until Atlanta's two-run fifth inning, though one went unearned due to catcher interference by Freddy Fermin. It was still one of Sears' better outings this year, as the 30-year-old southpaw worked at least five innings while yielding one earned run or zero for the second time through five appearances. Sears is set to wrap up a two-start week this weekend in Miami, where he'll bring a 4.38 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 20:8 K:BB over 24.2 innings.

Chisholm went 2-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Monday's 8-5 win over the Pirates.

Chisholm's power at the plate has not been the same this season compared to previous years. However, he gave the Yankees an early 4-0 lead with a three-run homer off Braxton Ashcraft in the first inning before giving the Bronx Bombers the lead for good with a two-run blast in the third. It was the first multi-homer game of the season for Chisholm, which he did four times last year. He's up to a .726 OPS with 26 steals, 16 home runs and 43 RBI across 375 plate appearances this season.

The Athletics outrighted Meneses to Triple-A Las Vegas on Monday.

Meneses was designated for assignment Saturday but with remain with the Athletics organization after passing through waivers. He's been a standout performer at Las Vegas this season, batting .346 with 12 home runs in 72 games.
