Arias was removed from Monday's game against Kansas City due to left hamstring tightness, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

It's unclear at this time whether Arias will require a stint on the injured list. The Guardians will presumably send their starting shortstop for further testing before providing an update on his availability for Tuesday and beyond.

Meyer has a shoulder strain and will be out 12-to-16 weeks, the Marlins' television broadcast reports.

Meyer was the Marlins' first-round pick in 2023, but his career has failed to launch so far. He was able to pitch 65.1 innings last year at High-A Beloit, posting a 4.41 ERA and 1.40 WHIP. He's posted high strikeout and high walk rates throughout his professional career.

White (oblique) will make his second rehab assignment for Single-A Jupiter on Wednesday, the Marlins' television broadcast reports.

White made it through 2.1 innings in his first outing, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk while striking out four. He'll ultimately end up at Triple-A Jacksonville once he's up to speed.

Arias left Monday's game against the Royals due to an apparent left leg injury, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Arias appeared to suffer the injury during the fifth inning on a double, and he was promptly removed from the matchup. He can be considered day-to-day until the team has more information on the severity of his injury.

Johnston will start in right field and bat cleanup in Monday's game against the Astros.

The Rockies have limped out to a 3-6 start to the season, but Johnston has been one of the few bright spots in the early going. He'll pick up his seventh consecutive start Monday after producing a .280/.308/.440 slash line with one home run, three RBI and an additional run over his first 27 plate appearances of the season. With Jordan Beck (.303 OPS) and Jake McCarthy (.384 OPS) both struggling out of the gate, Johnston could continue to hold down an everyday role while he's wielding a hot bat.

Beck is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Astros.

Beck will hit the bench for the second time in four games while the Rockies go with an outfield configuration of Jake McCarthy, Brenton Doyle and Troy Johnston from left to right. Johnston will be making his seventh consecutive start and may have settled into a near-everyday role at this point, which could result in Beck becoming more of a part-time player. Beck hasn't helped his case for earning regular at-bats by getting off to a 2-for-22 start to the season at the dish.

Tovar is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Astros.

Tovar will receive his first night off of the season after slashing .270/.289/.405 with one home run, one stolen base, five RBI and three runs through the Rockies' first nine games. Willi Castro will get the nod at shortstop Monday in Tovar's stead.

Lodolo is using a new "resource" to deal with his blister issue and is making some progress in his recovery. He played catch on Monday, Charlie Goldsmith of Charlie's Chalkboard reports.

This is not the first time that Lodolo has dealt with the blister issue, and yet one of the problems for him is the lack of a blister specialist to help him out. "Everyone's skin is different," Lodolo said. "How it feels, how you throw the ball, how it comes off of your finger, the pressure. A lot of guys are more middle finger on the ball. I'm more index finger heavy. It's about figuring out how we can manage it. I threw a good amount last year, and it only happened once."

Corniell remains unavailable to pitch as he goes through a "dead arm" phase, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Corniell missed nearly all of spring training and it's unclear when he might be ready to pitch in games. The 22-year-old is likely to be part of the rotation at Double-A Frisco once he's physically ready. Corniell missed all of 2024 and much of 2025 while recovering from UCL surgery, so he needs to make up for lost time.

Santos (hand) will make his season debut with Double-A Frisco on Thursday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Santos is finally ready to pitch in a game after recovering from a fractured left (non-throwing) hand that he suffered in late February. Slated to turn 24 next week, Santos is on the Rangers' 40-man roster and has a chance to debut at some point this season.
