Hicklen is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Hicklen and Eli White had been sharing reps in right field coming out of the All-Star break, but Mike Yastrzemski has taken over primary duties at that position since being activated from the injured list Tuesday. Yastrzemski will eventually move to left field or designated hitter when Ronald Acuna (hamstring) returns from the IL, which could happen as soon as Monday. Hicklen -- who is out of the lineup for a fourth straight game Sunday -- could be optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett to pick up regular at-bats once Acuna is activated.

Yelich is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

The left-handed hitter will receive a breather in the day game with southpaw Kyle Freeland on the bump for Colorado. William Contreras will get a break from catching but will stick in the lineup by occupying Yelich's usual spot at designated hitter.

Mesa is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

The left-handed hitter will hit the bench for the second time in the series, with both of his absences coming against lefty starters. Jonny DeLuca will get the call in right field in place of Mesa, who has produced a .265/.339/.592 slash line with five home runs, three stolen bases, eight runs and nine RBI through 17 games in July.

The Athletics recalled Serven from Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday.

The 31-year-old had two brief stays in the majors during the first half of July and may now get a longer opportunity due to Shea Langeliers (knee) landing on the injured list with a torn meniscus. Serven has gone 1-for-4 in two big-league games this season, though he's been productive in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League for Las Vegas with a .939 OPS in 61 contests. He'll serve as the backup catcher to fill-in starter Jonah Heim.

Feduccia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

The left-handed hitter will head to the bench for the second time in the series while the Guardians send Parker Messick to the bump. Nick Fortes will get the nod over Feduccia behind the dish.

Williamson will start at shortstop and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Williamson will stick in the starting nine for a fourth straight game while Taylor Walls (fingers) is on the bench for another contest. If Walls' hyperextended fingers don't force him to the injured list, he will eventually settle back in as the Rays' everyday shortstop and push Williamson back into the short side of a platoon at second base with Richie Palacios.

Halpin will start in center field and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Rays.

The recent return of Angel Martinez from the injured list has yet to cost Halpin playing time, as the 24-year-old will draw an eighth consecutive start Sunday. Halpin turned some heads with a two-homer performance in a July 20 win over the Twins, but he's cooled off since then with just one hit in 16 at-bats over his subsequent five starts.

Acuna (hamstring) isn't included in Atlanta's lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles and appears unlikely to be activated from the 10-day injured list until at least Monday.

Acuna isn't believed to have experienced any setbacks with his left hamstring during his rehab assignment at Triple-A Gwinnett, but he'll get at least one day of rest after he went 1-for-3 with a walk while playing right field in one game of a doubleheader Saturday. Assuming the 28-year-old joins the big club on its upcoming road trip to New York, he could be back in the lineup for Monday's series opener versus the Mets.

Mayer (forearm) has progressed from dry swings to hitting off a tee, MLB.com reports.

Mayer has been sidelined since late June and is still without a firm timeline to return. He'll need to advance to facing live pitching and a rehab assignment before rejoining Boston's active roster.

Stewart is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Stewart will receive his first day off this season after drawing starts in 103 straight games. The 22-year-old remains one of the leading contenders for the National League Rookie of the Year Award, but he's lost some momentum coming out of the All-Star break with a .188/.200/.406 slash line over the last eight games. With Stewart getting a breather, Ke'Bryan Hayes will pick up a start at third base in the series finale in St. Louis.
