Senga secured the save against the Nationals on Sunday, striking out two in a clean ninth inning.

Senga continues to experience a seamless transition into New York's closer role while Devin Williams (shoulder) is on the injured list. The right-hander has now successfully converted each of his first three save chances, and he's also submitted five consecutive scoreless outings as a reliever. Given Senga's 9.66 ERA and 1.80 WHIP over 31.2 innings as a starter, it's hard to envision the Mets moving the hurler back into the rotation again this year even after Williams returns.

Twins manager Derek Shelton said that Martin sustained a left hamstring strain in the eighth inning of Sunday's 7-5 loss to the Phillies and will be sent in for an MRI, Aaron Gleeman of Aaron Gleeman.com reports.

Martin didn't start but entered Sunday's contest in the top of the eighth frame as a defensive replacement in left field for Trevor Larnach. With one out in the inning, Martin appeared to pull up lame while pursuing a Luis Arraez line drive down the left-field line, prompting the Twins to pull him from the game immediately. Shelton said the MRI will clarify the severity of Martin's hamstring strain, but even a mild injury could be enough to send the outfielder to the injured list.

Scott (4-3) notched the win against the Nationals on Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks in 6.1 innings. He struck out seven.

Scott pitched into the seventh inning for the first time all season, though he was taken yard for the first time since July 3 in Atlanta. The right-hander has yielded mixed results recently, giving up at least three runs while hitting a batter in three straight starts, but he has tallied at least six strikeouts in six consecutive outings. Scott will take a promising 3.51 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 105:35 K:BB over 84.2 innings into his next scheduled appearance in Chicago against the White Sox.

DeLauter exited Sunday's contest against San Diego with left hamstring tightness, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

DeLauter was taken out of the game in the third inning, and the team has announced his removal was due to "mild" hamstring tightness. DeLauter will likely undergo additional imaging on the left leg, and it's currently unclear if he'll be available for Tuesday's series opener against the Giants at home.

The Tigers announced Friday that Flaherty (forearm) has increased the intensity and distance of his throwing progression, MLB.com reports.

Flaherty doesn't appear to have been cleared to start throwing off a mound just yet as he works his way back from right flexor inflammation, so he looks like he could still be at least a couple of weeks away from potentially returning from the 15-day injured list. Since he's been on the shelf for less than a month, the right-hander probably still has time to get stretched back out for a starting role, but he'll need to avoid any setbacks while he builds up.

Irvin (2-7) took the loss against the Mets on Sunday, allowing four runs on eight hits and three walks in six innings. He struck out six.

Most of the damage came during New York's three-run fourth inning, and three of Irvin's hits allowed on the afternoon went for extra bases. The right-hander turned in his longest outing of the season Sunday, but he remains without a quality start through 15 appearances on the year. Irvin, who has been taken deep at least once in each of his last four starts, will bring a 5.80 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 72:31 K:BB over 71.1 innings into his next scheduled outing in Miami.

DeLauter was removed from Sunday's contest against the Padres prior to the third inning due to an unspecified injury, Joe Noga of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

DeLauter made a catch on a fly ball off the bat of Manny Machado in the bottom of the first inning and popped out in his only at-bat in the bottom of the frame. The Guardians should provide an explanation behind the 24-year-old's early departure later Sunday.

Robles is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Houston due to a sore right shoulder, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Robles sustained the injury while attempting to make a diving catch in the ninth inning of Saturday's 10-5 win. The outfielder received treatment on the shoulder ahead of Sunday's contest, but he'll open the game on the bench along with Taylor Ward (quadriceps).

Ward (quadriceps) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Astros.

Ward will be on the bench for a fourth straight game while he continues to nurse a tight quad. Seattle is off Monday before beginning a three-game series on the road against the Brewers on Tuesday, so Ward will get another day of rest before potentially returning to action in Milwaukee.

Canzone is starting in right field Sunday versus the Astros.

Canzone will take over in right field in the series finale after he went 4-for-9 with a double, an RBI and a run scored over the first two games of the series. Taylor Ward (quadriceps) will be forced to miss a fourth game in a row, so Canzone will draw a start in the outfield. Weston Wilson will handle designated hitter and bat eighth against Houston.
