Henderson (7-2) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on three hits and a walk over seven innings against the Dodgers. He struck out six.

Henderson handled the Dodgers offense with relative ease, as Max Muncy's solo homer in the fourth inning was the only blemish on his line. Sunday marked the first time in the 24-year-old's career that he completed seven innings. The young hurler has pitched to a 2.79 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 21:3 K:BB across 19.1 innings through three starts in August. Overall, Henderson owns a 2.70 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 75:12 K:BB in 63.1 innings (12 starts) and is tentatively scheduled to start Sunday against Atlanta.

Witt went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Angels.

Witt's lone hit was a loud one, as he launched a solo homer into the left-field seats to extend the Royals' lead to 2-0 in the fifth inning. Since returning from a stint on the injured list due to lower-back tightness, the star shortstop has slashed .304/.385/.435 with a homer, four RBI, 12 runs and two stolen bases across 12 contests. In total, Witt is hitting .282/.354/.448 with 14 homers, 43 RBI, 63 runs and 32 stolen bases in 106 games.

Anderson did not factor into the decision Sunday against the White Sox, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out five over five innings.

Anderson delivered his longest outing of the season, though he still tossed just 74 pitches while generating 10 whiffs. The right-hander continues to provide Detroit with needed rotation depth amid numerous injuries and has performed well while starting in each of his last three appearances, allowing four runs across 12.2 innings. Anderson owns a 4.01 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 87:29 K:BB over 76.1 innings this season. He's slated to face the Royals on Saturday in his next start, and he could be given the opportunity to pitch deeper into that outing.

Massey went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Angels.

Massey collected a trio of hits, including a sizzling solo shot to open the scoring in the fourth inning. Sunday marked the fifth time this year the second baseman has logged three hits, with two of those performances coming in this road series against the Angels. Overall, he's slashing .271/.301/.442 with 11 homers, 42 RBI, 42 runs and two stolen bases across 104 contests.

Johnson (2-7) took the loss Sunday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over 5.1 innings against the Royals. He struck out four.

The right-hander was mostly effective, though a pair of solo homers surrendered to Michael Massey in the fourth inning and Bobby Witt in the fifth inning were enough to stick Johnson with the loss. Despite the result, it was an encouraging performance for the 24-year-old, who hadn't completed five frames in any of his past four starts and had pitched into the sixth inning just once, June 23, prior to Sunday. Johnson owns a 6.41 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 47:29 K:BB across 60.1 innings (15 appearances) and is lined up to pitch Saturday against the Rangers, though he may get bumped from the rotation if Yusei Kikuchi (shoulder) is ready to return.

Cameron (7-8) earned the win Sunday, allowing a hit and a walk over nine scoreless innings against the Angels. He struck out eight.

Cameron dominated in Anaheim, as Vaughn Grissom's bloop single in the seventh inning was the only hit the Angels could muster. Sunday marked the southpaw's first career complete game and third time completing eight-plus frames this season. Cameron will take a 4.16 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 126:43 K:BB across 138.1 innings (24 appearances) into his next start, tentatively scheduled for Friday against the Tigers.

Burke did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Tigers, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out two over 4.1 innings.

Burke ran into most of his trouble in the second inning, surrendering three runs on four hits and two walks before escaping a bases-loaded jam to prevent further damage. Colt Keith then jumped on the first pitch of the third inning for a solo homer. The four runs were the most Burke has allowed in a start over his last 10 outings, a dominant stretch in which he posted a 1.60 ERA with a 79:11 K:BB across 62 innings. He'll look to bounce back in his next scheduled start Friday against the Mets.

Hill recorded his second save of the season Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing one hit and one unearned run over one inning.

After David Bednar blew the save in the ninth inning, Hill was called upon to protect a two-run lead in the 10th. He allowed a single that brought home the automatic runner before retiring the next two batters to close out the victory. The save was a welcome result for Hill, who entered Sunday having allowed six earned runs across his previous 7.1 innings. On the season, the left-hander owns a 4.53 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 21:11 K:BB across 47.2 innings to go along with a 4-2 record and nine holds.

Cease did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Yankees, allowing two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out 10 over 6.1 innings.

After allowing a double to Heliot Ramos in the first inning, Cease held New York hitless over the next five frames, including four innings with multiple strikeouts. He returned for the seventh but was pulled after surrendering a double to George Lombard, then watched from the dugout as the inherited runner came around to score. Cease reached double-digit strikeouts for the ninth time in 23 starts this season and has now surpassed 200 strikeouts in six consecutive campaigns. He's been particularly dominant since the beginning of July, posting a 1.49 ERA across eight starts. Cease is scheduled for a rematch with the Yankees in his next outing.

Weathers did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing one run on six hits and one walk while striking out four over 7.1 innings.

Weathers opened his outing by retiring the first 10 batters he faced before eventually allowing his lone run on back-to-back doubles in the fifth inning. The 7.1 frames marked his longest start since April 19 and continued an impressive run for the left-hander, who has surrendered just three runs across his last 31.2 innings. Weathers owns a 3.56 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 140:38 K:BB across a career-high 134 innings this season. He's scheduled for a rematch with Toronto in his next start, this time at home.
