Rays' Chandler Simpson: Enjoys three-hit day
Simpson went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a RBI in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Yankees.
It's early, but Simpson has been excellent at the top of the lineup for the Rays. On the season, the 25-year-old brought his slash line up to .411/.441./.482 after recording three more hits Sunday. It also extended his current hit streak out to eight games and keeps the amount of games he's been held without a hit to one contest so far.

Padres' Ramon Laureano: Blasts another homer
Laureano went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 7-2 win over Colorado.

Aaron Judge RF | NYY
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Hits homer in loss
Judge went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Rays.

The home run was the third of the season for the Yankees slugger, who is off to a slower start than usual this season. The 33-year-old has seven RBI and is slashing just .218/.328/.455 on the young campaign. The homer snapped a streak of seven straight games without one for Judge.

The veteran entered Sunday's contest with just one hit through 12 plate appearances to open the season but is now slashing .286/.375/.571 after his big performance against the Rockies. In his second stint with San Diego, France has primarily been deployed as a platoon bat against left-handed pitching, though Sunday's performance came against right-handers after planned starter Kyle Freeland (shoulder) was a late scratch.
