Adames was pulled from Monday's game against Arizona after suffering an apparent right hand injury, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Adames looked to suffer the injury on a grounder that got past him in the bottom of the fifth inning. He was shaking his hand after the play and was promptly removed from the matchup. Adames can be considered day-to-day until further notice.

Painter took a no-decision Monday against the Reds, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out three.

It was a positive showing for the 23-year-old right-hander, but the Phillies still gave him a quick hook at just 69 pitches (44 strikes). Painter induced only three whiffs on the evening, but he didn't give up any extra-base hits and logged the first quality start of his major-league career. Painter, who hasn't reached the 70-pitch threshold in in either of his past two outings, will look to further improve on his 5.77 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 37:14 K:BB over 43.2 innings in his next scheduled appearance versus Cleveland.

Ray left Monday's game against the Diamondbacks after being struck with a comebacker in the left leg, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports. He allowed 10 runs (nine earned) on 11 hits and two walks while striking out one over 4.1 innings.

It's not clear at this time whether Ray actually suffered an injury, or if it was simply a decision by the Giants to pull him after a miserable outing. The club should have another update on Ray's status for his next start in the coming days.

Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 7-6 win over the Blue Jays.

Bellinger singled in the third inning and was thrown out trying to stretch it into a double. Facing Yariel Rodriguez in the seventh, Bellinger swatted a two-run homer to tie the game 5-5. It was his sixth long ball of the season and snapped a 14-game homer-less drought. Despite the depressed power numbers, Bellinger's .377 on-base percentage is his highest since his MVP season in 2019. He's in the 90th percentile or better in expected batting average, squared-up rate, strikeout percentage and walk rate. On the season, Bellinger is slashing .271/.377/.476 with six homers, 32 RBI, 30 runs scored, five stolen bases and a 31:26 BB:K across 204 trips to the plate.

Wiemer is being considered day-to-day after suffering a bruised hand during Monday's game against the Mets, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

Wiemer wasn't removed from the game as a result of the injury, but he was sent for X-rays afterward, which came back negative. The team will presumably re-evaluate him Tuesday morning to determine his availability for the second game of the series.

Cecconi (3-4) earned the win Monday against the Tigers, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks in 7.1 innings. He struck out four.

The 26-year-old right-hander delivered perhaps his finest performance of the year, spinning a season-high 7.1 frames in what was only his second quality start thus far. Cecconi has still been highly erratic for the Guardians overall, giving up at least four runs in five of his 10 starts while surrendering two or fewer in the other half. Despite Monday's showing, Cecconi might still be tough to trust when he brings a 5.16 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 42:19 K:BB over 52.1 innings into a difficult road assignment against the Phillies.

Young, who left Monday's game against the Mets after being hit by a pitch, is being considered day-to-day after being diagnosed with a bruised rib, Kyle Williams of TheBanner.com reports.

X-rays on Young's rib came back negative, but the team will re-evaluate him again Tuesday morning, per Williams. Joey Wiemer and Dylan Crews, assuming his promotion becomes official, could draw a start in center field if Young can't go Tuesday.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, an RBI double and one walk in Monday's 7-6 win over the Blue Jays.

Leading off in the bottom of the first inning, Goldschmidt jumped a first-pitch sinker from Patrick Corbin and took it deep to the opposite field for his fifth homer of the season. He later walked in the second and got the best of Corbin again in the fourth with an RBI double. Goldschmidt has been on a tear at the plate the past three-plus weeks. Since April 26, he's 17-for-45 (.378) with three doubles, four homers, 10 RBI, 10 runs scored and a 5:8 BB:K. Goldschmidt entered Monday with an elite 195 wRC+ and .361 ISO against left-handed pitching.

Bukauskas (lat) was activated from the 7-day injured list Saturday.

Bukauskas has made a full recovery after undergoing surgery on his right lat in February of 2025. He made his first appearance with Triple-A Iowa on Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and three walks while striking out two over one inning of relief work.

Valdez (2-3) took the loss Monday against the Guardians, allowing four runs on five hits and four walks in five innings. He struck out three.

The 32-year-old left-hander was mostly ineffective Monday, inducing just four whiffs while falling one walk short of his season worst. Valdez has been a boom-or-bust fantasy player so far in 2026, as he's given up two runs or fewer in seven starts while yielding at least four in the other three. He'll be searching for some consistency during his next scheduled outing in Baltimore, where Valdez will carry a lackluster 4.58 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 45:21 K:BB over 55 innings.
