Wilcox was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday.

Wilcox appeared in eight games with the Mariners during spring training, producing a 4.32 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with 11 strikeouts over 8.1 innings. The right-hander was traded to Seattle in November after making his major-league debut with the Rays in 2025. Wilcox will now look to impress with Tacoma in an attempt to get a shot with Seattle's major-league roster down the road this year.

The Athletics optioned Thomas to Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday.

With Lawrence Butler (knees) making his Cactus League debut this past week to clear up any concern about his readiness for Opening Day, the Athletics didn't have regular playing time in the outfield available for Thomas to begin the season. Rather than keeping Thomas around as a platoon bat, the Athletics will let the 25-year-old continue his development at Las Vegas, where he'll be able to play on an everyday basis. Thomas should rank near the top of the list for a call-up if the Athletics have an opening in the outfield or at designated hitter at any point.

Pereda was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday.

Pereda was traded from the Twins to Seattle in January, and he was able to participate in spring training with the big-league club. The catcher batted .200 with a run scored and a stolen base over 25 at-bats in 15 contests. He'll now head to Tacoma ahead of the 2026 campaign.

The Padres reassigned Taylor to minor-league camp Tuesday.

The 27-year-old is expected to open the season at Triple-A El Paso after failing to win a utility spot with the Padres coming out of spring training. Taylor owns a .205/.272/.260 slash line over 83 career plate appearances in the big leagues across the past three seasons.

Joe was reassigned to minor-league camp Sunday.

Joe joined the Mariners at spring training as a non-roster invitee after signing a minor-league contract with the team in February. The 33-year-old produced an impressive .362 average with a home run, six RBI and nine runs scored over 47 at-bats over 19 contests. Joe definitely showed that he still has some life left in his bat after a disappointing 2025 campaign, and he's now on track to begin the year with Triple-A Tacoma.

The Padres optioned Adcock to Triple-A El Paso on Tuesday.

Adcock failed to win an Opening Day roster spot in a deep Padres bullpen, despite letting in just one earned run on four hits and no walks over his four innings in Cactus League play. The 29-year-old righty has seen limited big-league action over the past three seasons between stops with the Mariners and Mets, logging a 5.48 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 19:4 K:BB in 23 innings.

The Padres reassigned Reyes to minor-league camp Saturday.

After failing to secure a spot on the Padres' Opening Day roster, Reyes is likely to begin the season as a utility player at Triple-A El Paso. The 32-year-old previously saw action in 19 games at the big-league level with the Yankees in 2025, slashing .194/.242/.226 over 34 plate appearances before being outrighted off the 40-man roster in June.

Nicolas was optioned to Triple-A Louisville on Sunday.

Nicolas will head to Louisville after having appeared in one contest with the Reds during spring training, giving up one run on four walks over two-thirds of an inning. The right-hander was dealt to the Reds in exchange for outfielder Tyler Callihan on March 4, but he ultimately saw limited action during the spring with Cincinnati. Nicolas will now have to wait for his next chance with the major-league roster.

Outman appears to be set to make the the Twins' Opening Day roster, Bobby Nightengale of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Outman entered the spring in competition with Alan Roden for the final spot in the Minnesota outfield, and after Roden was optioned to Triple-A St. Paul on Sunday, Outman appears to have made the cut. Over 17 Grapefruit League games, Outman batted .220 with two home runs, six RBI, seven runs scored and a team-high seven stolen bases over 50 plate appearances. Roden produced a more impressive .302 average in 15 games, but the 26-year-old still had a minor-league option while Outman did not, and that was likely a driving force in Minnesota's decision to stick with the latter for now. The left-handed-hitting Outman could end up occupying the strong side of a platoon in left field with the right-handed-hitting Austin Martin.

Eisert was optioned to Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday.

Eisert will head to Charlotte after posting a 3.00 ERA and 1.22 WHIP with 12 strikeouts over nine innings in eight appearances with the White Sox during spring training. The southpaw made 72 appearances, including three starts, with the South Siders in 2025, compiling a 4.39 ERA and 1.44 WHIP with 74 strikeouts over 69.2 innings. Eisert will likely return to the major-league roster in relatively short order.
