Chourio went 1-for-5 with a run scored and two stolen bases Saturday in the Brewers' 3-2 loss to the Pirates in the second game of a doubleheader.

After appearing as a pinch hitter in the Brewers' 7-6 loss in the first game of the day, Chourio was back in the lineup for Game 2. He singled in the first inning and promptly swiped second and third, but the star outfielder didn't come around to score after reaching on a fielder's choice in the fifth. Chourio snapped a 13-game streak without even attempting a steal, and through 61 contests on the season he's produced a .281/.335/.496 slash line with 13 home runs, eight stolen bases, 36 RBI and 42 runs.

Drohan (4-3) took the loss in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Pirates, giving up three runs on five hits over 6.1 innings. He struck out six without walking a batter.

While he didn't get enough offensive support to prevent the Brewers from getting swept on the day, the rookie southpaw has delivered two straight quality starts heading into the All-Star break, solidifying his spot in the Brewers' injury-plagued rotation. Drohan has allowed three runs or fewer in five straight outings, posting a 2.31 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 23:9 K:BB over 27.1 innings. Saturday's outing was the first of his career with at least six innings and zero free passes.

Sproat didn't factor into the decision in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Pirates, giving up three runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks over three innings. He struck out three.

The 25-year-old right-hander also plunked three batters and uncorked a wild pitch, getting the hook after 83 pitches (51 strikes) and forcing the Brewers to go to their bullpen much earlier than they wanted in the twin bill. Sproat has failed to get an out in the fifth frame in three of his last five starts, but he's still managed to put together a 3.68 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 30:9 K:BB over 22 innings during that stretch. His spot in the rotation is precarious, but Sproat sees likely to stick around for a while given the current state of Milwaukee's rotation, which recently had Jacob Misiorowski (fatigue) and Kyle Harrison (elbow) miss starts.

Beeter (3-2) took the loss and blew the save Saturday against the Yankees, allowing two runs on three hits and no walks in the eighth inning. He failed to record an out.

Washington summoned Beeter after Orlando Ribalta was able to get just one out in the eighth frame, but Beeter was unable to help extinguish the fire in a disastrous outing. The Nationals' much-maligned bullpen continues to search for answers in high-leverage spots, as its now blown a staggering 27 saves in 2026 already. Beeter still appears to remain one of the club's favorites for saves due to a lack of alternatives, holding a 3.62 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 31:18 K:BB with seven saves in 12 attempts over 27.1 frames.

Troy was removed in the fifth inning of Saturday's game against the Dodgers after running into the center field wall and appearing to hurt his right shoulder, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Troy made a nice catch on a flyball hit by Teoscar Hernandez but subsequently rammed his shoulder into the outfield wall. The rookie appeared to be in some pain, and he was ultimately replaced in the outfield by Jorge Barrosa. An update on Troy will presumably be shared after he's examined by the Diamondbacks' training staff.

Bednar secured the save Saturday against the Nationals, allowing one hit and no walks in a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out one.

Washington got the potential tying run to the plate, but Bednar hung on to successfully convert his eighth straight save chance. The 31-year-old right-hander has been especially dominant of late and is now riding a scoreless streak of 19 innings. Through 40 frames for the year, Bednar boasts a 2.70 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 45:12 K:BB with 18 saves in 20 opportunities.

Lewis went 2-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Angels.

The first baseman got the Twins on the board in the second inning by taking Ryan Johnson deep, then came home with the winning run in the seventh after a leadoff double. Lewis is still struggling to put together a true hot streak, but over his last 12 games he's batting .255 (12-for-47) with four doubles and three of his 10 homers on the season.

Gomez gave up a hit and a walk in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his 11th save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Angels. He struck out one.

The right-hander continues to impress at the back of the Twins' bullpen. Gomez has gone 10-for-10 in converting save chances since being acquired from the Rays in early May, producing a 1.71 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB over 26.1 innings for his new club.

Schlittler took a no-decision Saturday against the Nationals, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks in 6.2 innings. He struck out six.

It looked like a rough day was brewing for Schlittler, who served up a pair of first-inning solo home runs, but he settled in and silenced the Washington bats the rest of the way. The four walks were a season-worst figure, though it didn't end up biting him Saturday. The All-Star right-hander is now up to 12 quality starts already this year. Schlittler trails only Dylan Cease's 148 strikeouts for the American League lead in the category, sporting a 2.05 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 137:25 K:BB over 118.2 innings.

Reds manager Terry Francona said after Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Cubs that Lodolo (finger) will likely require a stint on the injured list, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

Lodolo was pulled in the sixth inning of Saturday due to a blister on his left finger, taking a no-decision after allowing two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four over five frames. The southpaw notably missed the first six weeks of the season due to a blister on the same finger, though it's unclear if he'll require as lengthy of an absence this time around. Assuming the Reds move him to the IL on Sunday, Lodolo wouldn't be eligible to pitch again until July 27.
