Lodolo (finger) threw 50 pitches over three simulated innings of live batting practice Friday, MLB.com reports.

Lodolo, who is working his way back from a recurring blister, felt good about the new grip he's using on his breaking ball. The left-hander may need a rehab start before returning from the 15-day injured list, but the Reds haven't yet confirmed their plans for Lodolo.

Greene didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 8-7 win over the Pirates, giving up four runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out four.

A potential pitchers' duel with Paul Skenes never materialized, as the two young righties gave up two runs each in the first inning and wound up getting tagged for three homers and nine runs between them. Greene left the mound after 91 pitches (60 strikes) as he continues to struggle to find his peak form following March elbow surgery, and through five outings and 27.2 innings in July he managed a 6.83 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 33:9 K:BB. Greene will look to dial things up in his next start, which is set to come at home next week against the A's.

The Brewers traded Yoho and Blake Perkins to the Guardians on Saturday in exchange for Bo Naylor and Codi Heuer, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Yoho has turned in a 3.15 ERA and 0.85 WHIP in 20 innings with the Brewers this season. He figures to instantly provide reinforcements to Cleveland's bullpen and could eventually land a high-leverage role if he continues to find success with the Guardians.

Ginn (finger) is scheduled to throw a bullpen Saturday and could rejoin the Athletics' rotation next week if all goes well, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Ginn has been sidelined since July 22 due to a blister on his right middle finger but is trending toward a short stay on the injured list. He threw bullpens Monday and Wednesday with no issues, and if no setbacks arise during Saturday's session, the right-hander could slot back into the Athletics' rotation as soon as Tuesday against the Reds. Ginn has put together a respectable campaign, posting an 8-6 record with a 3.46 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 100:49 K:BB across 109.1 innings (22 appearances).

Mangum went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 8-7 loss to the Reds.

His second-inning shot off Hunter Greene briefly gave the Pirates a 3-2 lead in a wild back-and-forth affair. Mangum's homer was just his third of the year, while the steal was his 20th, marking the second straight season in which he's reached that milestone. Over 24 games in July, Mangum put together a .319/.379/.436 slash line with two home runs, six stolen bases, nine RBI and 14 runs while acting as the primary center fielder in the absence of Oneil Cruz (hand).

The star right-hander managed only one clean inning before getting the hook after 100 pitches (65 strikes), and Skenes served up homers to JJ Bleday in the third inning and Sal Stewart in the fourth while issuing a season high in free passes. It's the first time since July 1 that he's been taken deep at all, but Skenes would just as soon put the month behind him -- over six outings and 31.2 innings, he stumbled to a 6.25 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 42:12 K:BB. He'll look to bounce back in his next start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Milwaukee.

Kwan went 2-for-2 with a double and a walk in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Kwan's third-inning single extended an on-base streak to 18 games, during which he's slashed .403/.479/.484 with 10 walks, four steals, five doubles, five RBI and eight runs scored. Despite most of that production coming while batting leadoff, Guardians manager Stephen Vogt had Kwan batting ninth Friday while Angel Martinez operated atop the order.

Gelof (knee) is expected to begin a rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Las Vegas, per MLB.com.

Gelof has been on the injured list since July 10 due to a right knee laceration but has continued to make progress in his recovery, taking part in a running progression and baseball activities. Provided no setbacks arise, the 26-year-old likely won't need a lengthy rehab assignment and should return to the big-league club in early August. Before hitting the shelf, Gelof slashed .273/.327/.476 with 11 home runs, 29 RBI, 41 runs and eight stolen bases across 67 contests.

The Guardians traded Heuer and Bo Naylor to the Brewers on Saturday in exchange for Craig Yoho and Blake Perkins, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Heuer has made eight appearances in the majors this season, coughing up five earned runs across 9.2 innings while striking out six batters and walking five. He's been a bit more effective at Triple-A, pitching to a 3.46 ERA and 1.27 WHIP through 26 frames. He will begin his tenure with his new organization at Triple-A Nashville but should be near the top of the list of names primed for a promotion once Milwaukee needs a fresh bullpen arm.
