Eldridge went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Cardinals.

Eldridge went deep in the first inning to give the Giants an early lead. He's hit safely in nine of last 10 games, going 14-for-37 (.378) with 11 RBI in that span. The 21-year-old is batting .265 with an .819 OPS, 16 homers, 49 RBI, 47 runs scored, 21 doubles and one stolen base over 100 contests this season as he continues to see regular time between first base and designated hitter.

Kuhnel allowed one run on two hits over 1.1 innings, recording no walks or strikeouts while earning the save in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Cardinals.

It's not often a pitcher has a chance to log a save for three different teams in the same year, but that's what Kuhnel has achieved in 2026. He's allowed one run over 2.2 innings across his three appearances for the Giants, allowing four hits and one walk in that span. Kuhnel is at a 4.74 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 23:13 K:BB through 38 innings between the Giants, Brewers and Athletics, adding seven saves, six holds and a blown save. Regular closer Dylan Smith struggled in a blown save Tuesday, but it's not yet clear if Kuhnel has worked his way into the high-leverage mix for the last three weeks of the Giants' campaign. Kuhnel is the 11th pitcher to earn a save for San Francisco this year.

Roupp (9-13) allowed two hits and four walks while striking out two over six scoreless innings to earn the win over the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Roupp has gotten back on track lately, allowing just two runs on eight hits and eight walks over his last 16 innings. He's picked up two wins in that span, which follows a stretch in which he was winless over six starts. Roupp has a 4.00 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 139:72 K:BB through 150.2 innings over 28 starts this season. The right-hander is projected to make his next start in a rematch with the Cardinals in St. Louis next week.

Mathews (1-3) allowed two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings to take the loss versus the Giants on Tuesday.

Mathews served up solo home runs to Bryce Eldridge and Christian Koss over the first two innings of the game. While Mathews was able to settle in from there, he didn't get enough run support. This was the rookie southpaw's first quality start in the majors. He's at a 4.11 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 28:14 K:BB through 30.2 innings through six starts. Mathews is lined up for a rematch against the Giants in St. Louis early next week.

Chaparro went 1-for-1 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Padres.

Chaparro homered off the bench in the eighth inning. He's made the most of his opportunities lately, hitting safely in nine of his last 11 games while going 12-for-35 (.343) with four extra-base hits in that span. For the season, he's batting .259 with an .881 OPS, 10 homers, 35 RBI, 31 runs scored, 12 doubles and no stolen bases over 71 contests. Chaparro is currently in a battle for playing time at first base and designated hitter that also includes Yohandy Morales and Abimelec Ortiz.

Amador went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Yankees.

Amador drew his sixth consecutive start since being recalled to begin September. This was his second home run in that span, and he's also gone 8-for-22 with four RBI and five runs scored. Amador could split time at second base with Connor Norby, though he's made the case for consistent playing time with his showing to this point.

Webb blew the save Tuesday against the Brewers, giving up two runs on two hits and no walks while striking out one over one inning.

The right-hander was in great shape to pick up his 10th save of the season after retiring the first two batters of the ninth on seven pitches, but Christian Yelich singled and Jackson Chourio homered with two outs to erase the two-run advantage. Webb has now blown his last three save chances and has surrendered multiple runs in four of his past six appearances. He's gone 9-for-16 in save opportunities this season, and the recent struggles likely don't leave him with much stability as Chicago's closer.

Morales went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Nationals.

This was Morales' second homer in six games to begin his big-league career. He's also logged two doubles while going 6-for-16 so far. The first baseman is filling a part-time role while battling Abimelec Ortiz and Andres Chaparro for playing time between first base and designated hitter.

Cornelio struck out four over three perfect innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Tuesday.

Cornelio worked the opening part of this bullpen game for the Nationals, but he did his job well in getting through the Padres' order cleanly on 36 pitches (24 strikes). He has functioned primarily as a long reliever this season, posting a 5.26 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 27:21 K:BB over 25.2 innings across 13 games. Cornelio's strong performance isn't likely to lead to more starts -- the Nationals have enough off days ahead to get by with a four-man rotation until Connelly Early (elbow) comes off the injured list for his team debut.

Morejon struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Nationals.

Both Mason Miller and Morejon had pitched the last two days. Miller was given rest, while Morejon retired the side on seven pitches to convert his third save this season. September has been a little bumpy for Morejon so far -- he's allowed five runs (four earned) over 4.2 innings this month. He's at a 2.86 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 96:24 K:BB through 78.2 innings while adding 23 holds and five blown saves in a setup role.
