Bride is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.

Bride will head to the bench Friday after a run of six straight starts, during which he went 4-for-20 with four walks, a double, an RBI, three runs and seven strikeouts. Jake Burger will shift to first base while Jesus Sanchez (back) receives a start at designated hitter.

Fortes is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.

Fortes started the previous four games but will take a seat after going 7-for-14 with two doubles, two RBI and three runs during that stretch. Jhonny Pereda will step in behind the plate to catch for Edward Cabrera.

Sanchez (back) is batting cleanup as the designated hitter Friday against the Phillies, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.

The 26-year-old sat out one game after he exited Tuesday's contest due to back spasms, but he's back in the lineup following Thursday's team off day. Sanchez is hitting .379 (11-for-29) with a double, two homers, three steals, 10 RBI and three runs in his past 10 games.

The Diamondbacks optioned Barrosa to Triple-A Reno on Friday, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

The 23-year-old joined Arizona when big-league rosters expanded to 28 players Sunday, but he'll head back to Triple-A with Ketel Marte (ankle) returning from the injured list. Barrosa has a .470 OPS in eight big-league games this season and has a .269/.364/.423 slash line with six homers and 10 steals in 61 contests at Triple-A.

The Diamondbacks reinstated Marte (ankle) from the 10-day injured list Friday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

The 30-year-old landed on the injured list in mid-August due to an ankle sprain, but he's back with the Diamondbacks after a two-and-a-half-week absence. Marte has a .298/.370/.560 slash line with 30 homers through 116 games this season, and his return to the lineup will provide a major boost to Arizona's playoff push.

Laureano is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jays.

The 30-year-old made seven straight starts in late August but is on the bench Friday for the third consecutive game against a right-handed starter. The lefty-hitting Jarred Kelenic will man left field Friday as Laureano appears to have shifted back into a small-side platoon role.

Kelenic is starting in left field and batting seventh Friday against the Blue Jays.

The 25-year-old saw his playing time drop in August, but he's now making his third straight start against a right-handed pitcher. Kelenic has gone 2-for-7 with a three-run homer in his past two games to bust out of an 0-for-13 slump.

The Pirates designated McKinney for assignment Friday.

The 30-year-old was added to Pittsburgh's roster Aug. 19 but has been let go after he posted a .526 OPS in 10 games. McKinney could elect to become a free agent if he passes through waivers unclaimed.

Kennedy was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

The 25-year-old will provide some depth at third base with Alec Bohm (hand) headed to the injured list. Kennedy has an .875 OPS in 375 at-bats at Triple-A this season and will now have the chance to make his Phillies debut.

Bart was activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Friday's game against the Nationals.

Bart returns in the minimum time from a left hamstring strain. He's had a post-hype breakout this year, slashing .272/.347/.497 with 12 homers in 63 games for the Pirates.
