Yastrzemski went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Orioles.

Yastrzemski hit a leadoff homer for the second game in a row. He's gone deep four times over his last seven games to get up to 17 homers on the year, with his moderate power being one of the more reliable parts of his game this year. The outfielder has added a .236/.311/.447 slash line, 53 RBI, 56 runs scored and three stolen bases over 130 contests. Even with Tyler Fitzgerald healthy again after a back injury, Yastrzemski has held onto the leadoff spot against right-handers.

Bohm went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Brewers.

Bohm had the Phillies' lone run with a solo shot in the second inning off Freddy Peralta. Bohm has gone 2-for-11 with two strikeouts over three games since he returned from a hand injury that cost him a couple of weeks. The third baseman is up to 14 homers, 90 RBI, 60 runs scored, five stolen bases, 44 doubles and a .288/.341/.461 slash line through 134 contests this season.

Nola allowed a run on three hits and a walk while striking out nine over seven innings in a no-decision versus the Brewers on Wednesday.

Nola's lone mistake was a Rhys Hoskins solo home run in the fifth inning. This was Nola's best of four starts so far in September, though he's given up six homers over 21 innings this month. The veteran right-hander is now at a 3.54 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 183:48 K:BB through 188.1 innings over 31 starts. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Cubs.

Turang went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Phillies.

Turang has stolen four bases over his last five games to give him 45 thefts on the year. That's good for third in the majors behind only Shohei Ohtani (49) and Elly De La Cruz (64). Turang is batting .293 (17-for-58) in September, an improvement on his .258 average for the year. His place atop the order has helped him be moderately productive despite a .677 OPS, as he's added 69 runs scored, 54 RBI, seven home runs, 23 doubles and four triples over 146 contests.

Hoskins went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a double in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Phillies.

Hoskins had the only multi-hit effort for either team in the contest, which was his first such performance since Aug. 30. He's gone just 9-for-43 (.209) over 14 games in September, though three of his hits this month have left the yard. The first baseman's blast was his 25th this season, a milestone he's reached in his last five full-length seasons. He's still had some difficulty with contact, batting .212 over 122 games while adding 74 RBI, 53 runs scored and three stolen bases across 122 contests in 2024 after missing all of 2023 with a torn ACL.

Solano went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Astros.

Solano salvaged his stat line with an eighth-inning solo homer off Kaleb Ort, the infielder's seventh long ball of the campaign. In September, Solano is 8-for-37 (.216) with five runs and two RBI.

Peralta allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out nine over five innings in a no-decision versus the Phillies on Wednesday.

Peralta limited the Phillies to an Alec Bohm solo home run in the second inning. While he hasn't been pitching particularly deep into games -- Peralta has gone six innings just twice over his last seven starts -- he's allowed just nine runs with a 34:17 K:BB over 37 innings in that span. For the season, he's at a 3.69 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 193:66 K:BB through a career-high 168.1 innings over 31 starts. The Brewers clinched the NL Central on Wednesday but are currently behind the Phillies and Dodgers as division leaders, so they'll still have something to play for while trying to line up their postseason rotation. Peralta is projected to make his next start at Pittsburgh.

Machado went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs during Saturday's 4-0 win over the Astros.

It's Machado's second multi-homer performance in 11 games -- the third baseman is 17-for-45 with eight multi-hit games, six home runs and 18 RBI in that stretch. Machado boasts an .814 OPS in 609 plate appearances for the season.

Cease (14-11) picked up the win Wednesday against the Astros, allowing two hits and no walks with five strikeouts across 8.1 scoreless innings.

Cease couldn't quite go the distance Wednesday, falling two outs short of a shutout as he was pulled after 103 pitches. Still, it was a masterful performance from the 28-year-old, especially considering he had allowed three or more runs in three of his previous four starts. Through 184.1 innings, Cease has a 3.42 ERA and 1.05 WHIP. His 220 strikeouts rank second in baseball. He's tentatively scheduled for a road start against the Dodgers next week.

Harris went 1-for-5 with a solo home run during Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.

Harris lifted his 13th home run of the campaign Wednesday, tagging Justin Wilson for a solo shot in the eighth inning. Harris has gone yard in back-to-back games and has four homers in his last eight outings. During that stretch, Harris is 11-for-36 (.306) with seven runs, six RBI and a stolen base.
