Myers didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Pirates, allowing two runs on six hits over four innings. He struck out four.

Myers has hit a bit of a snag down the stretch, allowing seven runs over 14 innings in his last three outings. Still, it's been an impressive campaign overall for the rookie right-hander -- Myers is 8-6 with a 3.09 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 122:36 K:BB across 134 innings. He'll look to head into the playoffs on a high note in his final regular-season outing, currently scheduled for this weekend at home against the Mets.

Bellinger went 3-for-5 with a triple, a run scored and four RBI in Tuesday's 10-4 win over the Phillies.

Bellinger recorded his first four-RBI game of the year as he spurred Chicago's offensive attack. The former NL MVP snapped a three-game, 0-for-12 hitless streak with the big effort. For the season, Bellinger is now batting .267 with a .757 OPS and 77 RBI across 127 games.

Parker did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's extra-innings loss to Kansas City, pitching six scoreless innings while allowing five hits and two walks. He struck out five.

The rookie left-hander entered this outing with an unsightly 5.59 ERA in 19.1 September frames and stymied the ice-cold Royals over his 91 pitches. Although he's struggled to contain lineups, Parker has been a consistent source of strikeouts, as he notched his eighth start out of his last nine with five or more Ks. Overall, the 24-year-old now sports a 4.29 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 133:43 K:BB across 151 innings this season. Parker is not currently scheduled to make another start this season but may appear out of the bullpen this weekend.

Manager Carlos Mendoza said after Tuesday's loss to Atlanta that Lindor (back) "could be in play" for Wednesday's game, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Lindor didn't play in Tuesday's contest, but he finished the game in the on-deck circle and would have pinch hit in the ninth inning if the Mets had put anybody on base. Mendoza's willingness to use Lindor in a late-game situation is a good sign that the infielder has recovered from his lingering back issue after missing eight consecutive games, and he seems to have a good chance of ending the streak Wednesday.

Falter (8-9) took the loss Tuesday against Milwaukee, allowing four runs on five hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out five.

Faltner's now dropped back-to-back outings, allowing six runs over 10.2 innings in that span, after going eight starts without a loss. The left-hander will carry a 4.26 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 97:42 K:BB into his final start of the year, currently scheduled for this weekend on the road versus the Yankees.

Suzuki was removed from Tuesday's contest against the Phillies due to a sprained right ankle, Taylor McGregor of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Suzuki went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's victory, but his day was cut short after he limped into the dugout following Cody Bellinger's three-run triple in the sixth inning. Suzuki's removal may have been precautionary -- given it was a 10-2 ballgame when he was taken out -- but there's a chance he sits out Wednesday's game so that his ankle can properly recover.

Manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Kershaw (toe) won't face hitters this week, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Roberts added that Kershaw will continue to throw bullpen sessions, though the manager's comments make it seem highly unlikely that the veteran lefty makes another appearance during the regular season. He still has a chance to contribute to the Dodgers' playoff run, though that will likely depend on how fast his toe heals and how far Los Angeles advances in the postseason.

Spiers (5-7) took the loss Tuesday at Cleveland, pitching four innings while allowing three runs on five hits and two walks. He struck out two.

Spiers made his first start since Aug. 20, subbing in for the injured Julian Aguiar (shoulder). Things began poorly for the 26-year-old righty, as the Guardians tagged him for three runs, including two homers in the opening frame. He managed to generate only six whiffs out of his 69 total pitches. Spiers has been rough as a starter this season, pitching to a 6.62 ERA, 1.49 WHIP and 47:15 K:BB across 51.2 innings. If this marks his final appearance of the season -- Spiers could possibly appear in relief during the weekend -- he wraps the campaign with a 5.46 ERA over 90.2 innings total.

Busch was removed from Tuesday's game against the Phillies after getting hit in the arm by a pitch, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Busch was able to remain in the game to run the bases after getting plunked, but he didn't take the field once the Cubs went back out on defense. He managed to escape the incident with only a bruise, per Montemurro, making it unlikely he sits down for an extended period of time.

Casparius was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Matthew Moreno of DodgerBlue.com reports.

Casparius will return to Oklahoma City after being called up Friday, pitching three innings of one-run ball, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out five batters in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Rockies. In a corresponding move, right-hander Edgardo Henriquez was called up from Triple-A on Tuesday.
