Pages went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Thursday's 10-8 loss to the Rockies.

Pages launched a two-run homer off Angel Chivilli in the eighth inning to give the Cardinals an 8-5 lead but the advantage was erased when Colorado put up five runs in the bottom of the frame. The long ball was Pages' seventh of the season, and he's slashing .236/.275/.361 across 209 plate appearances.

Nootbaar went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an RBI double and an additional run scored during Thursday's 10-8 loss to the Rockies.

Nootbaar belted his 11th long ball of the season, tagging Kyle Freeland for a solo shot in the first inning. Since the start of September, Nootbaar is 18-for-57 (.316) with three home runs, 13 RBI, 10 runs scored and as many walks as strikeouts (14).

Blackmon went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a sacrifice fly and two additional runs during Thursday's 10-8 win over the Cardinals.

Blackmon tagged Kyle Gibson fora two-run home run in the second inning, marking the outfielder's third home run in six games and his 12th long ball of the campaign. Since announcing Monday he'd be retiring at the end of the 2024 season, Blackmon is 5-for-10 with a double, a triple, a home run and four RBI.

Halvorsen picked up the save Thursday against the Cardinals, allowing one hit and no walks with one strikeout across a scoreless ninth inning.

Halvorsen picked up his second save of the campaign and appears to have a lock on the Rockies' closing job in the wake of Tyler Kinley's elbow injury. Halvorsen has been excellent since being called up Aug. 30, logging a 1.69 ERA with a 10:2 K:BB across 10.2 innings.

Gibson didn't factor into the decision Thursday against Colorado, allowing five runs (four earned) on four hits and three walks across four innings. He struck out four.

Gibson failed to pitch into the fifth inning for the first time in 13 starts. Three of his four hits allowed went for extra bases, including a two-run home run by Charlie Blackmon. Gibson has allowed nine home runs in his last eight starts, posting a 4.98 ERA during that stretch. With three games left on the schedule for St. Louis, Thursday's outing was likely the last we'll see of Gibson in 2024. He finishes the season with an 8-8 record, a 4.24 ERA and a 151:68 K:BB.

Williams earned the save in Thursday's 5-2 win over Pittsburgh, allowing one hit while striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning.

Williams worked around a Nick Gonzales one-out double to secure his 14th save this season. The 30-year-old Williams has held opponents scoreless in his last 12 appearances (12 innings) while securing nine consecutive saves -- he's allowed just four hits while striking out 22 in that span. Overall, Willliams' ERA is down to 1.31 on the year with a 0.97 WHIP and 38:10 K:BB across 20.2 innings.

Civale (8-9) earned the win Thursday over the Pirates, allowing three hits and a walk over six scoreless innings. He struck out five.

It was a strong finish to the regular season for Civale, who went 6-1 with a 2.57 ERA over his final nine starts (49 innings). Overall, the right-hander posted a 4.36 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP and 149:52 K:BB across a career-high 161 innings. Civale should continue to serve as Milwaukee's number-two starter behind Freddy Peralta when they open postseason play.

Freeland didn't factor into the decision Thursday against St. Louis, allowing six runs (four earned) on eight hits and one walk across 4.1 innings. He struck out four.

Freeland surrendered three home runs for a second consecutive start as Paul Goldschmidt, Ivan Herrera and Lars Nootbaar launched solo homers in the contest. The outing marked Freeland's first start not completing five innings since Aug. 6. The left-hander will finish the 2024 campaign with a 5.08 ERA and an 85:26 K:BB across 21 starts (113.1 innings).

Solano is not in Thursday's starting lineup against the Dodgers.

Solano has been the regular starter at first base for the past two weeks, but he'll bow out of the lineup after hitting only .222 across his last 10 starts. Luis Arraez will shift to first base, while David Peralta will enter the lineup and hit eighth.

Kershaw (toe) will not be available for at least a couple more weeks, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Manager Dave Roberts told the media that Kershaw's progress has stalled and that Kershaw is dealing with pain in his toe as well as other unspecific issues. It was already known that he would not be back for the regular season, though his status for the postseason now also appears to be in jeopardy.
